Lake County DOH restarts COVID-19 vaccine program
Less than 24 hours after receiving more than 12,600 doses of COVID-19 vaccines, the Lake County branch of the Florida Department of Health vaccinated as many as 1,000 seniors Wednesday in Clermont.
CLERMONT — Less than 24 hours after receiving more than 12,600 doses of COVID-19 vaccines, the Lake County branch of the Florida Department of Health vaccinated as many as 1,000 seniors Wednesday at the Clermont Arts and Recreation Center. 
However, while many were pleased the DOH had restarted its vaccination program, which began only last week, the department was also criticized for how the resumption was communicated.
