New this morning, authorities have one person in custody after a fire in north philadelphia. It happened about 2 30 in the 2200 block of north eighth street. Firefighters quickly gained the upper hands, now investigators tell Eyewitness News the fire was part of a domestic dispute. And someone now in custodiment nobody was injured there. All right, joe, thank you. This morning, peco still working to restore power to customers after high winds toppled trees, snapped power lines, leaving thousands to celebrate christmas in the dark. This was the scene, power lines cradling falling trees, most significant winds damage seen in bucks, montgomery, chester counties. At the height, peco estimates that more than 7,000 people were without power. This morning, that number now down to about 450. High winds are being blamed for a fire inside the devon train station in chester county. Crews responded there around 12 30 p. M. Yesterday afternoon after the platform roof caught fire. The strong winds then blew pieces of roof onto part of the track, leading to delays on the commuter line. The fire was out in about 30 minute. Police are trying to figure out what caused a deadly crash that killed two people in atlantic county. This happened on the black horse pike in Hamilton Township yesterday afternoon. Police say a woman was driving eastbound when she crossed over the center line, crashing headon with another car. That woman was driving with her 85 year old father and another man, and passengers, one man died at the scene. Medics returned the driver and her father to the hospital. Where he also died. There is no word on either drivers condition. Two homes have been destroyed after christmas night fire in sawed err beach delaware. Try your best to avoid the area out and b also, north philly there is fire here. Eighth street between dauphin and susquehanna avenue. This is part of a domestic dispute that turned into a possible arson situation. The good news there are no injuries in this area.
