Reporter well, ukee and natasha Penn Delco School district say parent you are referring to may have instigated the second fight that happened here yesterday. It happened here on campus right outside school and turned into an all out brawl, a brawl that required the help of at lee half dozen administrators to break up the fight, even students had to step in and break it all up. Dismissal at this Delaware County high school calmer today, then yesterday, when this brawl broke out. Video reported by students showed the fight started with punches between two teens, but then continued, with a mother, getting involved. Very sad, and disappointing i mean fights happen all the time at school for years but when parents get involved, it is really, it is disappointing i have been superintendent here for 10 years and about 1800 student days and this is first time out of all of those days where i had an adult come in confronting a kid. Reporter district says mother instigated this fight, after this, happened to her son earlier in the day. Sun Valleys High School principal, immediately addressed the incident with the mother, and the parents of the other student seen, slamming her son. Both part writes somewhat pleased with the result, and understood the result, so it is puzzling why she would come back to campus. Reporter school says mother didnt just come back alone but with older kid from a Different School and that is part of what caused all of this and then a third fight, off school property. It was unfortunate to us because we need adults to be adults. Yesterday was not about our students. It was about an adult making poor choice coming back un invited and with those things in mind we cant to make sure our students understand that, that we got their back. That we support them. But, that they need to make the right decisions. The principal there, adding that the school has been having conversations with all of its students today about making right decision about what happened yesterday, as for all of the students involved in those series of fights, they are placed, they are facing disciplinary action from the school and absence police say the mother involved in the fight thaw saw there yesterday, shes facing several charges, including harassment, trespassing, Disorderly Conduct and simple assault. Researchers are calling it a pediatric Public Health crisis as Opioid Epidemic sweeping the country is leaving its marks on our future, with more teenagers becoming addicted to powerful painkillers and heroin. This 22year old became addicted to opioids at just 13 snow boarding accident shattered his leg and a doctor prescribed powerful painkillers. So it made everything kind of okay. Reporter he asked that we not show his face. By my senior year i was in the bathroom every other period at least, to do dope. Reporter pain pills linked to other hard drugs and at lee three hospitalizations for overdoses. He is far from alone. New research being presented to the American Academy of pediatrics say between 2008 and 2013 the number of er visits by opioid addicted patients under age 21 jumped from 32,000 to more than 49,000. And, more than 500 children died in the er or after, hospitalization. Our kid are dying, they are dying. It is awful to sianni you know , to witness. Reporter data shows 135 young people are showing up at ers every day, addicted to opioids. So, i think that we really need to do a better job giving them resources. Reporter addiction counselors say drug treatment is critical, it is working for this young man now five weeks into a recovery program. Feels good to have people love me again. Reporter like with him most people who end up addicted to opioids started out with a legitimate prescription according to the cdc, agency has been trying to get doctors to limit narcotic prescriptions a difficult balance when they are trying to help patients relief pain. Protest broke out in saint lou toys day after a judge found a former Police Officer not guilty of murder in the shooting death of a black motorist. They have just had a brief downpour moving through that area where it is only 69 degrees in the wake of the rainfall. That is where our showers are concentrated this evening. So storm scan three again showing scattered showers, we have talk about this yesterday , few and far between but more likely to form in the higher terrain and that is exactly what were seeing he here tonight. A few scattered showers up through poconos and Lehigh Valley. In allentown, bethlehem, easton we are seeing a few showers right along 22 and 78. Tonight we are looking at a few cloud, pretty nice night, could start tomorrow with morning fog but most of tomorrow morning is dry with sunshine a lot like today. In the afternoon once again these scattered showers and thunderstorms will pop up and they have a better chance making it toward city tomorrow then what we saw today. They will be few, far between but if you see those dark included rolling through try to take it inside for a while. Sunday looks like a generally dry bay but as we head in the monday here comes a front from the west and here comes jose up the eastern seaboard. Eventually that front and jose will join forces, jose will take on regular storm characteristics less tropical characteristics as it head toward our area and moves out to sea but we are talking about larger swells. Rip current risk will peak on monday down the shore and that will continue through at least tuesday and wednesday of next week. We have got two other areas to watch, tropical depression number 14 and this area that could develop into something for following week that could impact east coast, we will keep you posted on that but tropics still very hot.
