In santa cruz, the main beach will be open from 4 00 until 8 00 on saturday and sunday only. And in santa cruz the swimmers and the servers can cross the beach to get to the water and get exercise but not allowed to congregate in the sand or sure. Now in pacifica the rules are more strict. All city and state beaches will be closed this weekend including parking lots, the sand, and the water. The leaders made the decision to do that because they knew in previous years when there is hot weather combined with the Holiday Weekend, hundreds of people flock to the beaches there. Under normal circumstances we would welcome the spokes to our community but during these times we are concerned about the spread of covid19.
