Rosemary, on the way and it was great with the windows down. The air was nice and more comfortable today than yesterday. I agree dave. Good morning to you. I had my windows open around the house this morning. And i could feel a little bit of a difference. We are headed in the right direction. Were looking at a cooler pattern. With that said we are going to remain warm and will remain dry especially inland. And we are going to continue to see smoke and haze around the bay area. Here is a look at what is going on over areas of sfo. I do expect over the next couple of days the fog to have the coastline and the onshore breeze is strengthening as well. Those are two good indicators of a switch in our weather pattern. Right now San Francisco coming in at 54 degrees. Santa rosa at 54, livermore at 66 and san jose at 63. There is that cool that we are talking about. Already a degrees by livermore down by nine of the north bay of santa rosa and along Half Moon Bay. The coastline stretched down by seven this morning. The winds are generally light. We have Half Moon Bay even with an easterly breeze at about three miles an hour. Livermore it is nine and sfo reporting 10 miles per hour. We do expect the winds to pick up a little bit. That of course could cause a little bit of trouble for our firefight. We have cooler air and higher humidity expected. With the increase in the wind we know it helps to fan the flames. And in some cases it could even start fires. So we will be tracking that for you today. We have some wind coming from this direction pushing that fire in areas over the san Mateo Santa Cruz area further to the south. Then we have some wins right in here pushing some of that smoke into areas, it looks like the inner east bay we have poor air quality at the moment as well as the santa clara valley. But for everybody today expect to have smoke and haze at times. It only takes a little shift in the wind to set the smoke coming your way. And sometimes the surface wind is different than wins at 5000 feet and the 10,000 feet. So again the unhealthy air quality expected for most of the bay area. The air is expected on with you sunday. We will call it off by a good 40 even a degrees. Livermore your high 94. The excessive heat warning has been allowed to expire. Temperatures will hold steady for the next few days before we begin to see a bit of a change by the end of the weekend. I will have a better look around at the afternoon highs for today and the rest of your week coming up in just a little bit. It has to do with the system that is moving just right there off the coastline of canada and british columbia. At home here the winds are expected to turn on shore and bring us some color pacificare for the bay area today. The one concern out of this, when it comes to the firefight will be the winds. Right now mt. Diablo reporting 20 miles an hour. So that will be something to watch out for. Of course those winds tend to fan flames as well as could create some spot fires as it blows the embers around.
