This follows problems with the coronavirus and Prison Inmates and the rapid spread of covid19 infections. Three more san quentin Prison Inmates have died from covid 19. The total right now is up to six. The governor says this is a crisis and a top priority and he wants to safely release some nonviolent inmates to reduce the prison population. Im going through individual by individual people will with medical needs that are acute, peep hole we are fast tracking, expediting a parole review and individually reviewing these cases in order to move people forward. The outbreak started after infected inmates from a prison in chino were transferred to san quentin in late may. A Field Hospital is now set up at san quentin to help handle the surge of patients. After just one week, Health Officials in marin county have stopped allowing restaurants to offer Indoor Dining. Marin county is back on the States Coronavirus watchlist and is returning to tougher restrictions. Public Health Officials say the ban on Indoor Dining will continue for at least the next three weeks but restaurants are allowed to remain open if they limit themselves to outdoor eating and takeout food. County Health Officials say if the infection rate does not decline, the bank could be extended into august. San francisco planned to allow Indoor Dining again starting on monday, now the Golden Gate Restaurant Association says it has heard unofficially that will not happen. The number of new Coronavirus Infections continues to grow in San Francisco. Health expert say Indoor Dining is more likely to spread the virus then eating outside so infection rates would have to go down before Indoor Dining could be allowed. Restaurants can still offer outdoor dining, take out the delivery services, and Restaurant Owners in official announcement is likely to happen later today. In napa county, Health Officials are warning that they may soon shut down some of the businesses that just reopened. Napa says the number of newly confirmed cases has jumped and if that continues, it could take action by thursday. Authorities say they could shutdown bars, Indoor Dining at restaurants, museums, movie theaters, county Officials Say everyone can help by practicing social distancing and wearing face masks. The Police Rushed to homestead avenue yesterday evening and found a man who had been shot while in his car. He was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive. Investigators say a man walked up to the mans car, pulled out a gun and started shooting. If you have any information about this, call one at creek police. This morning firefighters in southern Santa Clara County continued to battle the wildfire just eats of gilroy. The cruise fire started sunday afternoon just north of highway 152. It has now burned more than 5400 acres. It is only 20 contained. The fire has burned at least two homes. It is threatening dozens of others. Hundreds of firefighters from across the state are now working to get the fire under control. We had an incredibly busy weekend all to the bay area. With fireworks activity, fire activity, and so to be able to call crews from outside of Santa Clara County and throughout the state is critical. The cruise fire has forced the evacuation of about 70 people, one firefighter suffered a minor injury. Theres no word yet on what may have caused the fire. Also this morning, fire crews in Solano County are watching up for hotspot in an 80 acre fire that came dangerously close to some homes in fairfield. The Mountain Meadows fire started shortly up after 4 30 yesterday afternoon. Strong winds fueled the flame in the fire quickly grew three alarms forcing the evacuation of dozens of homes and businesses. Terrifying, just not knowing what to do. You know . So i was kind of scrambling around. There are 30 foot flames, so i started packing up a bunch of essential stuff and loading that and the dog in the car. Fire crews battled the flames from both the ground and the air for several hours in the fire was declared under control shortly before 8 00 last night. No homes were damaged and there are no reports of any injuries, but the cause of that fire is also still under investigation. Firefighters want to know how a fire started in the contra costa county. At one point, the flames were dangerously close to a fuel storage tank. It also burned past the houses. Reporter that was called the california fire and started yesterday afternoon and burned 230 acres before it was contained. No homes have been damaged, no injuries reported. That is some good news at least. 4 09, we are watching all these fires, certainly kyla grogan, the forecast is very important. Firefighters will be watching that closely. Yeah, and thats the thing. As we had to the east bay, 55 in san leandros, its a comfortable morning out there for sure. 52 in San Francisco on the north bay this morning, its a little chilly, 49 degrees for you and 58 for mill valley. So our marine layer, we were hoping it would move in and it is struggling to get organized right now so it is not really in full effect. I think that the most we are just going to see some patchy low clouds in the east bay, but we do have a onshore flow that is trying to bring it and if it is able to get its act together.
