All of us wanted to be mcqueen. He survives. The movie was based on a true story. The escape of 76 allied soldiers escape from germany in 1944. The film pretty much gave us the real life tragic ending to that story, only three of those men who escaped state escaped. Two norwegian pilots, and another pilot from the netherlands. No americans. The other 73 were killed or recaptured, more than two thirds of them were executed. The fact is, escaping was hard. And it wasnt often try during world war ii in particular. Up being 2 fires in the same area. There was some concern for a neighborhood called viewpoint but firefighters were able to get a good line on the fire before it came close to homes. So far the damage has been limited. They burned past all that Petroleum Infrastructure there along the east side of interstate 80, they burned past all the homes on the north side of hercules and are not a threat to either one of those areas right now. Reporter there are a lot of resources put on this fire, and air tanker and helicopter are unseen, right now it is just running wildland and firefighters hope to get containment on this fire sometime this evening and we just got some details on the fire its about 150 acres and no word on the number of acres and no word on what time this will be contained but progress has been stopped at this point.
