Floyd died may 25th avenue after being pinned Derek Chauvins knee against his neck. Unintentional was added to thirddegree murder and Second Degree manslaughter charges. The three other former Police Officers thomas lane, J Alexander King and another it was also arrested and charged with aiding and abetting murder in the Second Degree and an emotional day for floyds family as his son visited the memorial in minneapolis. In many cases they are not fired and arrested. This case is unprecedented in many ways. Demonstrators will march from Washington High School to the freemark Police Department and stephenson boulevard for a peaceful rally. Mountain View Community members will hold the protest in solidarity with the black lives Matter Movement against the racist nature of police and the criminal justice system. Protesters meet at the wells fargo at the corner of san antonio road at 5 00 p. M. On the peninsula you think 2000 people marched through the city to call for justice for george floyd. The group gathered at the San Mateo City Hall about 5 00 p. M. And then walked two miles to the san mateo Police Department. Elsewhere in San Mateo County demonstrators gathered and checked farrow parkway and East Palo Alto and called for the justice of the george floyd and his family. Protesters march through city streets to bell street park in these Peaceful Demonstrations are prompting the county to lift its curfew later this morning and demonstrators in the east bay also spreading a message of peace and tolerance. Protesters gathering at hayward lake yesterday afternoon, scott fox flew overhead and showed about 100 people outside city hall and police were on hand in streets were blocked off but no major disruptions there. San joses curfew is set to expire at 5 00 p. M. Thats morning. The curfew to effect on sunday to help limit the damage after several nights of looting. The mayor said its less of a concern now. Many people say the order violates their civil rights including the right to assemble in one restaurant manager has mixed feelings. He hopes the downtown area remain safe once the curfew was lifted.
