Refurbished for exactly the purpose they are assigned and again our hearts and prayers go out to everybody as it relates to meeting this very difficult week had on and making sure that we have all of the appropriate personnel and the appropriate sites as well as equipment, particularly ventilators, to support those most in need. I want to make an argument for the state of californias efforts putting in person active the work being done, not just here that over the course of many months, by reminding everybody that we started on this journey in january with repatriation flights that came back into the United States through the state of california for people in mainland china, american citizens, we brought them onto air force bases here in the state of california and began the formal partnership with the federal government, the cdc and their respective agencies. Of course that generated a lot of attention and obviously raised the alarm bells for the state of california that we needed to prepare to address not only the needs of those repatriated but began to really start focusing on prepare for covid 19 and the prospect this virus was going to spread. That was brought further into focus with the grand princess cruise line which generated National Attention and generated a lot of energy and focus in Northern California and the bay area. Those relationships were only strengthened as an extension of those relationships being strengthened rather and it forced our hands to really start looking at assets and sites and it would be alternative care sites, not just hospital sites, but alternative care sites, not only to meet the needs of those coming off the grand princess but the expectation that the coronavirus would spread and that peak needs would exceed our capacity to deliver within our 416 hospitals. Over the course of months the state of california has been preparing in a very deliberate way and we phased our preparation in different times, phase 1 is the focus of todays press conference. We want that people to know that our phase 1 procurement includes some 50,000 beds above and beyond what is currently available in our Hospital System. I say currently with a caveat. We have 416 hospitals and some 75,000 licensed beds. We have asked the hospital itself to great capacity to surge by roughly 40 , so 30,000 beds within the Hospital System itself. An additional search, 50,000 phase 1 goal would come from the state working for partners at the local level. 20,000 beds for alternative care sites. Within the Hospital System and acute care and a focus on building capacity at assets, and around the hospital footprints and an end around the Emergency Rooms and operating rooms, with existing staff to the extent we need to have health core support that we have been talking of the past week or so. This is one of 20,000 sites that the state of california has procured. As you can see right behind me quite literally has been brought into a condition where we can start accepting patients as early as april 20. We are here in the sacramento region, where the Sacramento Kings once played, this is a site that will provide 400 beds specifically for patients that are being discharged from the Hospital System and from our emergency departments, are going here directly with mild to moderate symptoms. The acute care will continue to be provided in our Hospital System as part of the letter and larger surge but this is one of a dozen plus sites the state of california has already procured. We currently have locked in 4613 specific bed sites throughout the state of california. We have sites like this arena in every major region in the state of california. Those 4613 beds are currently locked down but they are not by any stretch the totality of what we are trying to sort. And the number again of 20,000 that we are ultimately going to seek. We have 5005 additional beds we currently have identified and they are in the process of negotiations, but we have locked in 4613 again with an anticipated peak into midmay. We are well on schedule and all part of the ongoing preparation plan phase want to get to those 50,000 beds. Let me flesh out more what does beds will look like because they do not all look like this arena. We worked first to secure hospital in Northern California that was no longer operating as it once was, 220 beds specifically available at seton. We did the same with st. Vincent hospital in los angeles, 266 beds made available, by the way that goes operational on monday by the way that goes operational on monday, april 13 because of a partnership with dignity and a partnership with kaiser and i would like to thank dignity and lloyd dean and kaiser and their stewardship and working with the county to secure that site and make st. Vincent operational. And the usns mercy also part of the hospital surge, 550 beds of phase i with their capacity. Those are on the hospital side and those are assets locked in. On the alternative care side of things, not only again this arena but we have identified fairview developmental center, 502 zero beds, 246 beds it order and we have identified other locations throughout the state of california including hotel rooms, and all of the medical stations came from the federal government with the support of the federal government, 2000 beds as part of the program and five sites are already up, not necessarily running and we have unloaded all of the cash, equipment and supplies and have prepped the sites. Three additional sites of those original eight, to hundred 50 beds per, 510 and three remaining, those three are up and around shasta and butte county we have one down in san diego i want to congratulate the work of the county for announcing that an fighting the appropriate site and Nathan Fletcher and supervisors and others, doing that over the weekend and then i site in fresno. We are in the process of unloading and setting up. Those sites plus the hospitals, plus alternative care sites like this, and that is 4613 beds we have locked down and are ready to go. With that said it is one thing to have the beds and another to have the personnel. To explain a little bit about how these are working, i talked about the partnership with kaiser and dignity down in Southern California, each and every site has different operations in different specks in terms of support, who is managing them and where we are procuring the appropriate protective gear and the light the fms sites, medical stations, or county and state partnerships and in some cases the county is taking all of the responsibility themselves but broadly county and state partnerships. As it relates to sites like this we are working with the county and we are working through the health core which now has a total number of applications, this is our website that we launched less than a week ago. Over 81,879 people, as of this morning 81,879 people, have filled out a formal application on that site and that will provide the Surge Capacity in terms of personnel we will need to appropriately staff, as an example, the 400 beds it will be on this specific site. And by the way i recognize for those focusing with real acuity and detailed attention on that health core site we have a lot of existing licensed medical professionals that are currently working and have also played on the site to potentially be redeployed for more acute needs in the system but it is still a jawdropping number. 80 thousand people. These are the phlebotomists, emts, nurses, nurse practitioners, doctors, radiologists, all who have filled out that application. On the physical sites of the Human Capital needed, were doing everything that we can to procure more ppe. We are not naove we are proud to be able to extend a hand of support with those 500 ventilators and send them east, but we are not naove that we need to continue to procure more ventilators and not just gowns and masks and shields and these n95 masks in particular. We continue to do everything in our power to continue to build out that inventory as well. It is a threelegged stool you need the place, the people and the protective gear to make these things work and to meet the surge responsibilities and surge expectations that are part of our modeling. Again the models mean nothing if we began to step back and change our behavior by getting cabin fever and no longer practicing physical distancing. Physical distancing is working. The more we commit to meeting this head on by continuing to practice social distancing but subsequently physical distancing, wearing appropriate face coverings when you are forced to get into a line or be around other people where you cannot practice physical distancing, like at a grocery store, if we continue to do that and we continue to hold the line, these models will continue to buy us time because you by definition are bending the curve which allows us the days and weeks to do exactly what you see being done right behind me here at the arena. Also i want to now ask that the owner of the Sacramento Kings who owns this site to come up and say a few words because we would not be here without him and without his support. Just an example of people all stepping in to meet this moment had on. I want to congratulate he had his partnerships that he has formed with food banks in the sacramento region, the 100,000 masks that his foundation has provided and his personal largesse has afforded in the hundreds of thousands of dollars that the foundation is providing with Cash Contributions to those in need. It is an example of philanthropy at scale people extending their hand. Thank you on behalf of a very grateful state and perhaps you can share some thoughts and words about why you let us open these doors and why you let everyone start working at this facility. Thank you governor. I want to thank you and i just thank you for your forward looking, old and decisive leadership. There is no question you are the best governor in america. When history is written people will remember that thanks to your actions that thousands if not tens of thousands of lives have been saved and as a californian i say that with all of my heart. I like to thank the congresswoman for her leadership in washington and are great mayor steinberg and councilwoman ashby for their partnership and support. This is a very difficult time for all of us and our hearts go out to all of those who have been impacted by this terrible virus. I also want to show great gratitude to the doctors and the nurses and those who deliver us food, all the people on the front lines facing this invisible enemy every single day. We all owe you and we thank you for your efforts. We at the Sacramento Kings of always believed it is bigger than basketball and if we can use this platform to impact the world in a positive way and make a difference that is what we need to do. The city has always been there for us. We will be there for the city and any small way that we can. Where we are standing right now is actually one of the iconic venues in sports history. This is where lebron james played his first game and now it is going to be taking care of californians. So its history and its big moment continues. We be or were done with the arena when we moved out we thought but in fact the arena still leaves on. Governor i am an immigrant to this great country and i have great belief and faith in the ingenuity and resilience and determination of the american people. I fully believe as bad as this invisible enemy is, next to your leadership that we in california and we in america will triumph over this. I think all of you for giving us the opportunity to be some small part of your efforts, thank you. Thank you so much Vivek Ranadive behalf of all of us for immediately making available this arena before we even asked, this was offered and the fact that we are here in such a short time and already seeing construction is testament to your support and the spirit that you have advanced so i am very grateful to you. Now let me extend a few other points of consideration. We talk about these 50,000 beds in our phase 1 strategy based on our modeling. Here is some good news. In the Hospital System itself they believe they have the capacity in the 416 hospitals to do even more than the 30,000 beds that they originally proposed. That was a representative of a 40 surge and they believe they can do thousands of additional beds. We believe that is the most appropriate use of resources because the staffing already exists and the footprints at those sites can be expanded much more efficiently and effectively and the staffing much more efficient and effective if that is indeed the case. So the overall numbers will begin to shift between those two buckets based upon the additional plans. Once again i just want to thank you Hospital System, their representatives for doing a wonderful job including on this point. We talked about the 500 ventilators one of the reasons we felt more confident in our ability to extend a hand on ventilators and send them back east is because the hospitals themselves that originally had an inventory of 7587 ventilators , today they currently have 11,036 ventilators so they went from 7500 to over 11,000 over the course of the last few weeks. That is on the basis of repurposed thing and refurbishing all ventilators and also procuring new ones and that has put less strain and pressure on the states effort to procure additional ventilators. But make no mistake, we are full force going around the world to procure more ventilators and we continue to work with companies on bridge ventilators like the ones we have been talking about, like virgin orbit and others are beginning to procure and do more to make sure that we are being innovative in terms of how we utilize existing ventilators and working in partnership with Stanford University and others. This is a quick update. 14,336 is the official count, that is up 6. 7 , total number of covid 19 positives. 1085 is again the number that i wake up first thing in the morning, no exaggeration, the first thing i look at is the number of people icus, 1085. Number of hospitalized 2509. That represents 4. 6 increase hospitalizations from yesterday and a 4. 3 increase the total number of icu patients from yesterday. We tragically have lost 234 lives, excuse me, 343 lives, 343 lives to this virus and our hearts go out to every Single Member and loved one, Family Member and community that have been impacted by these losses. We will continue to update you on the number of n95 masks that have come in and go out and continue to update you on the health core foulks that have signed up and began the process of being evaluated or triaged to be deployed or redeployed throughout the Healthcare Delivery system. I want to continue to thank everybody who wants to contribute their time and energy. I know a lot of us have energy because they are stuck at home and we want to contribute, and the serve. Ca. Gov website is the best place to volunteer if you want to help the homeless or give blood, collect, connect to our site and we hope people continue to reach out a hand and continue to practice the physical distancing that has allowed us the time to procure the kind of assets that we are now seeing here today. With that i am happy to take any questions and thank you all for making this particular site possible in such a quick period of time. Hello governor, sophia from the Sacramento Bee and i am asking questions on behalf of the press corps so thank you. To start off can you explain why you have been talking about phase 1 is a distinct entity . What exactly does phase i mean your modeling and what is the difference between phase i and any subsequent phases . The first phase we break things down incrementally so we can focus on acuity and we look at our modeling. We looked at over the course of last month and this month, phase 1 is through the month of april. Phase 2 when you look at the models made public last week youll see numbers go north of 50,000 and that would represent phase 2 of our process. This is within the month of april our first phase, 50,000 beds between the acutecare system, the hospitals and alternative care sites, from mild to moderate symptomatic individuals, or those who have been discharged from the Hospital System. That is the breakdown specifically. If we enter into may and our modeling and projection numbers, they show they are continuing to grow and they will enter into that phase 2. Many reporters have questions about the ventilators in the 500 you have sent to the National Stockpile. What convinced you that we could afford to send those ventilators and why did you decide to send them to the National Stockpile and not directly to a place like new york . New york is one of the states in desperate need of the ventilators and we work with our federal partners, particularly bob fenton, the regional director of fema and bob felt it was more appropriate if we could work within the National Stockpile. This does not go to some warehouse and collect dust, they are immediately redeployed as needed based upon conditions on the ground. We could have prescribed what we thought was appropriate that all ive had to go to new york, and they may, that we feel they are better positioned from the perspective of logistics to redirect them to other parts of the country in realtime as needed. The reason we made the determination over the weekend of availability was two fold. One time i mentioned a moment ago, we now have new inventory in our Hospital Systems of 11,036 ventilators, substantially higher than the 7587 that were identified a few weeks ago. In addition to that we are getting back all the ventilators, over 1000 which have been refurbished, and another 1000 are currently being refurbished. We were down, must refurbishing is moving efficiently and effectively and i anticipate receiving an additional 500 ventilators as early as tomorrow but give me a day or two, when they say things arrive and when they actually arrive, some things do not align perfectly but we are confident in our procurement of thousands of additional ventilators, the first 500 arriving as early as tomorrow for all of those reasons. And the moral and ethical responsibility of providing resources in realtime to those most in need that is why we thought it appropriate. What happens of californians need those 500 ventilators in a few weeks . If we need them back then we will get the back and it is really about changing conditions in the state and these are lengths i have not been given and i have all the confidence based on our modeling and the extraordinary work of individuals who continue to practice appropriate physical distancing, if we change our behaviors the model changes rapidly and if we continue to double down on behaviors the model will remain as it currently has. That will give us the time well into the next few weeks to have enough ventilators we believe to meet the needs of 40 million californians that may be vulnerable to this virus and end up at hospitals and on icus. We have our professionals look at this and we looked at modeling and conditions on the ground and we feel confident in our capacity to meet our needs as we support the needs of others. So given concerns that covid 19 may rebound in the fall and perhaps to even a greater degree than the current outbreak what is the state doing to prepare for that possibility and what it forced californians to keep schools closed or stockpile respirators and pp ever hibbett california from showing those items . We are not hoarding anything we provide the support we can and the extent we find more avenues of procurement of ppe of all stripes. And we feel our needs are met then we will share those people all across the country as needed. We are a major purchaser of ppe outside of the federal government, the largest in the United States, so we can do things that scale and have relationships in china and around the world that are distinctive and unique, and we are going to do our best to row in the same direction as others. We hope that we can continue to increase our supplies, it was a situation i was in a warehouse a few days ago and in that one warehouse we had distributed 15 million n95 masks just a few weeks. Those were the masks that were there for years and years and years in the warehouse is all but empty millions more we hope to replenish. As we go into different phases that we are prepared to meet those phases had on that notice. We are Americans First and foremost and we happen to have 40 million americans who live in the great state of california and as a nationstate we can do a few things, where we can punch above our weight and we carry a big weight. But to the extent other americans need our support, our largesse and the extent we have the resources, we will be there for as many people as we possibly can. But know this we are also taking care of our californians as well. There has been speculation covid 19 might proceed with warmer summer months and im wondering have you guys seen it in some of the warmer parts of california and is that incorporating into your modeling . We will see what happens but based on the data coming in, we will assess any of those changes and patterns in the numbers go up here in the state of california, the number of positives and tests in people and icus in people whove lost their lives or have been hospitalized, it depends on what part of the state you are in it but it is unique, weve heard people speculate about the seasonality of this virus but it is too early based on the information we have to make any determinations around that speculation and there are no patterns existing within the state i am aware of that would lead us to conclude that is the case and were hopeful in the seasonality but by no stretch of the imagination does that change your modeling currently or approach to procuring sites and people and ppe. This goes to the previous question come all of that will be determined by facts on the ground, the experts and their opinions take the determination to determinate about schools and make go back to work like sporting events such as basketball and football season and the like. But again it is too early to speculate on any of that until the data starts to bear the kind of clarity needed to make those determinations. Rachel becker asks how do you intend to incorporate antibody tests and to californias ongoing response and what do you envision the role antibody tests will be getting people back to work . Foundation and fundamentally needed, the first homegrown serology test will be done and this will be the biggest area of focus and terms of language we are using a nomenclature, antibodies and proteins, all of this part to figuring out whether people have immunity or if people have the kind of antibodies that will allow us to process and get people back into the workforce or back into society in more traditional ways. This is a deep area of focused concentration and i know all across the us, not just here in the state of california. I should note this frame around us and Community Surrounds and to be sure that we are testing a symptomatic individuals to understand more about this virus is critical and ultimately advancing our testing goals. Some of those goals we revamped and announced 48 hours ago and this is certainly a big part of that. We met you and your team said saturday that you are expecting the test to be fda approved later that day, did that happen and are the plans you laid out saturday to use the test this week on track . I believe they are but let me double down on the official approval and get back. Adam beam of the Associated Press asks will you posit schedule minimum wage increase because of covid 19. That is january and will make a determination in real time in the budget team is meeting again later this afternoon and i have a team of some of the best minds i can find on economic recovery and really starting to create detailed plans for when we turned the corner and the page on this phase of the virus, how we can really start jumpstarting the economy and testing is a predicate to making that happen along the lines of those antibody tests that were just referenced and of course coming up with a comprehensive economic and Workforce Development plan to get people off Unemployment Insurance and get them back into the workforce and do everything that we can to keep Small Businesses afloat during this very challenging time. We talked a lot about that 72 hours ago in terms of Small Business supports but ultimately the determination on some of those macro questions like unemployment are rather like minimum wage and will be determined as we plan and as we rollout larger plans. Mike lori is asking for the obtain on the update on the california workforce and how it is paid for. Ive been asked this multiple occasions and i remind everybody that we have the capacity within the existing funding systems, be it medical system and other systems of support including our own contributions in general reserves and more importantly anything else that the federal government or fema is reimbursing that all stack and have an answer to that question and it depends on the bucket those are connected to with reimbursement and the processing of this paychecks. I will remind you that not everyone part of that health core, over 81,000 people that of signed up, not all will be able to provide for their child care, for transportation and for their lodging and i want to thank facebook, Mark Zuckerberg for providing tens of millions of dollars to help with siphons for those individuals. Deep support from the federal government, state, and modest support in the context in totality from the private sector and philanthropy. How are you vetting those candidates . They are going to very copper has a process and a team of people going to everything one of those applications but remember when we launched this was of the universe of expectations was 37,000 and we have blown past 80,000 so again it is extraordinary. We are going through those and a lot of folks filled out forms and they already have existing jobs with the healthcare it is this is true and we are awaiting the numbers out and triaging multiple things. There is geographic triage meaning where are you physically and where are the needs most, and see if they match. We have to make sure the expectations and the skill sets, looking at where people are in their licensing process and are you coming from a medical school or nursing school, are you retired and coming back . All of those things are triaged and we may have too many phlebotomists in certain areas are not enough pharmacists and other areas to all of that being done by a team of remarkable people, heidi and others, that are doing pretty much just that fulltime Alex Michelson at 511 asks Speaker Pelosi wants to pass another stimulus through congress and what is the most pressing need california has from the federal government . To help those still recovering from the 2008 financial crisis that never fully recovered and to protect individuals that are most in need. Lets not exacerbate income and wealth disparities and exacerbate growing anxiety around a two Class Society, growing up with the three Class Society and the middle class getting squeezed, have to focus on those that were left out of the last bailouts in 2008 and 2009 and make sure we do not replicate the same mistake. Deborah karn asks why is the state reporting cases in such a broad age category for 18 of 40 9k euros and narrower for the young and old and are you trying to scare younger people and can you provide more specific numbers . No, that is the information provided to me and we do 0 to 17 and 18 of 49, 50 to 64 and then 65 and over but that is the data we have been putting out and the extent the question suggests we are not scaring anybody, it suggests that we could just aggregate the data further and i would be happy to consider putting our folks on that. I wouldnt remind everybody the data that we are putting out shows half of the individuals with covid 19, they are under the age of 49. Just a reminder of the power of individual decisionmaking and for young people to be reminded that individual decisionmaking must maintain a strong regime of physical distancing. Even if you have while symptoms or even if you dont know if you have the virus you can spread the virus to the most vulnerable. Again the data has helped us identify those buckets of concern half are under the age of 49 and happy to look at breaking them down further. While people have been sang if they would like to know if mitigation efforts are working and is there any data or specific point on a graph or chart that indicates the state is seeing success . We are seeing it in the modeling present publicly and we are seeing it in the capacity to be able to stand right here as this is a physical manifestation of the work that has been done i 40 million californians proving to be successful on the basis of buying us time which allows us to do the kinds of things that frankly some other parts of this country were not able to do because the system got overwhelmed. Every minute of every day and every hour of every day and every day of every week, every week of every month, it is critical for us to ensure that we are preparing for a surge in the worstcase scenario. The current modeling we have made public and as i said the growth you have seen within the icu and the hospitalizations, the two most critical numbers from our perspective, that growth has been steady and if you extend that out we are looking at a path into may before we peek based on current data. There is a question on the ventilators, politically is this something of a rebuke to the white house which set over the weekend estates have to fend for themselves and not rely so much on the federal government and are you sending a message to the Trump Administration that california cannot only take care of itself but the nation . No. We are doing it because we cant and im not looking to point figures or play politics and i will not point fingers or play politics. I would like to thank the administration for reaching out to the state of california and working with us through fema to identify a minimum of 500 ventilators but i would like to be able to do more good i feel deep responsibility and anxiety as we all do watching the national news, what more can i do . I am on Conference Calls with the governors comparing and contrasting conditions on the ground we had a governors only call today with the Vice President and people expressing their anxieties and concerns. I wish i could resolve that for everybody and to the extent that we can we will and to the extent we are expected to then yes we should be expected to be this is the state of california and we have an abundant mindset and we are a well resourced state so i expect that california will do more than most other states and we will continue to do our best the staff is saying that is all the questions you have time for said thank you for answering them. I want to remind everybody of the imports if i am not done so five or six times let me do it a seventh and eighth time, practiced physical distancing, thank you to everybody over the course of this weekend, our parks and playgrounds and our beaches, and reasonably although not in every case, reasonably underwhelmed because people were taking these stayathome orders seriously and taking physical distancing seriously. As the weather gets better over the course of this next week and into the weekend i would remind everybody on a daily basis, on an hourly basis, to continue to double down on what has been working here in the state of california. Let us not look back and dream of regretting because we did not do all we could to continue to bend that curve and lets continue at the pace currently underway. Thank you everybody and stay safe. Governor gavin newsom sleeping or speaking at the arena former home of the Sacramento Kings and now of one of a number of makeshift hospitals popping up across the state and the governor made it clear we are in phase 1 of the coronavirus Pandemic Response in phase 1 is the procurement of hospital beds some of which we see and some of which are on board the ship mercy off the coast of los angeles and mike he referred to the states response is a threelegged stool thing it is about finding the places to put people sick and the people that we need to treat and the protective gear those medical professionals need to stay safe while doing the work they are doing it all of this news is coming amid another rise in the coronavirus cases as well as deaths. More than 14,000 cases right here in california he mentioned the number of people in the hospital, more than 2500 and close to 1100 people currently in icu but those numbers percentagewise compared yesterday, 4. 3 increase when it comes to the icu, 4. 6 increase when it comes to the hospital and you never want to see that number go up. That is 4. 3 and 4. 6 so it is not a percent or 10 or 12 been the governor said we dont like cabin fever we understand that but he says in his determination that physical distancing and social distancing is working and he encourages all californians to continue to do it, not just in the weeks ahead but as we go into an the month of may bit more news after the break. What we do now will forever change our tomorrow. So lets do the right thing, today. Lets stay at home. Lets wash up. Lets always keep our distance please, six feet apart at least. Lets look after ourselves, as well as others. It will all be worth it. We can all do our part. So those on the front line can do their part. And when this is over, we will all, continue, to thrive. Chp officers are currently searching for the people who shot a toddler and two others on an east bay freeway. This happened around 6 30 last night on east 580 near 24 and oakland. Investigator said someone opened fire on a white sedan and drink a twoyearold, a 28 yearold man and a 20yearold woman and they are expected to survive it no word on what led up to the shooting. Santa clara county officials are giving more information about thousands of people that are homeless that may have been exposed to the coronavirus but the county says it will provide shelter to all Homeless People have the coronavirus and the county is already placed more than 170 people identified as a Vulnerable Shelter or other housing and 215 more people are expected to be placed in noncognitive sites in the next few days. People who will continue to be tested positive or exhibit symptoms can be moved out of the encampments and into safe places. And it also means that we and we have the infrastructure to go in screen and test and the unsheltered population is about 8000 in this county we want them to get the same kind of attention and care and resources and treatment and compassion the rest of the population is getting now. Health Department Workers are providing karen covid 19 information during visits and chemist to shelters on the bed and the Santa Clara Convention center has been transformed into a field hospital. Patients are being treated there and this is one of for his first Field Respite Centers with doctors, nurses, paramedics and pharmacist and they can care for as many as 250 patients. Our state and federal partners established this site to allow us to preplan or prepare for a potential medical patient surges. The National Guard is delivering beds, supplies, medicine and patient only be admitted if there is another facility that refers them and that would open up space at other hospitals countywide the house and help more seriously ill patients. Lets check with rosemary to look outside and i was looking at the ktvu weather app and the south bay seems to be getting rain. Yes the storm which is broaddus rounds and rounds of rain and crs that was eventually working south. Meanwhile the central and south bay will have the best shot at seeing scattered showers and thunderstorms. In and around the radar you have in front of you theres a lot of cloudy skies and rain falling over areas of the Santa Cruz Mountains and along the peninsula, the south a and east bay. Around the peninsula we have light rain around 101 and 280 from South San Francisco into sunnydale and stretching into santa clara and cupertino. And along the coastline a light round of rain over areas of pacifica and Half Moon Bay shifting into areas near the south bay, san jose is covered in green and it looks like the san mateo bridge as well as the dunbarton and further east where we have the east bay shore from oakland into alameda, hayward, fremont and over towards 580 and 680 580 and 684 pleasanton, livermore and san ramon looks like youre getting light rain. Into the sierra where the snow is winding down a little bit and advisory expired to travel after 3 feet of snow reported. Levels over the sierra 3500 feet, this is a look at the storm and where it is expected to go south with Southern California and taking moisture with it but not before giving us more rounds today.
