same. we are seeing a very heavy police presence. a lot of palo alto police officers out there. not to long ago, we saw a couple of them with flashlights walking through this area here looking through the evidence. we did just gets more details from the palo alto police department. a man was shot and taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries. we don't know his condition at this time. there are no suspects in custody, but police say they are actively investigating. we did talk to a few men who say they worked with a man who was shot. they didn't say much because they were understood those understandably upset. they told us the victim worked at a sincere. palo alto police say the man was shot at three a clock a.m. it happened in a business parking lot on east san antonio road. while they investigate, police blocked off eastbound san antonio between lakeland and charlestown. we do not know what led up to this shooting. those are details we are working to get. the two men we talked to earlier say this area is generally nice. they were really surprised to hear about the shooting. to give you an idea of what is around here, there are apartment complexes, martial arts studios, and other restaurants and businesses. we know this is a well-traveled area and we have already seen a lot of cars trying to make their way through here. because of all of the roadblocks here, there are some issues that people are being rerouted here. we did reach out to a spokesperson with the palo alto police department. she said once she has more details, she will give those to us, we will bring them to you live. in palo alto, sara zendehnam. please demonically give us a getting a shooting at the marriott hotel in north main street. police arrived at parkside drive in riviera avenue just before 6 pm leslie. there were reports that one man was hurt and we're waiting to hear back from one estate police. the time is 7:04 am. in senegal, and overnight fire at an opel mobile home park is being investigated. they were reports that at least one person has died and another is in the hospital. it happened at the el dorado mobile home park on avenue b just before six street. >> when it made that turn, it was wide onto the northwest crosswalk entrance. >> investigating police say they started chasing the screams of a woman inside of a four-door nissan. the search for that car continues. police are cracking down on the sideshows. the sideshow was first exported and reported in santa rosa. a helicopter track down some of the suspects. along with the four arrests, police cited several others. the chp says 100 cars took over at least three intersections. police are also investigating a rollover crash. investigators believe the people in that crash car took over may now have a chance to buy that house. the owner of the house, which would properties, bought the house back in july for $500,000. it first, they said they would not negotiate with the the arrest of a hit-and-run driver who told her mother in oakland last friday. friends and family held a candlelight vigil last night where my asia singleton was hit in a crosswalk in front of her children school. police found the car who hit her but is looking for the driver. singled since sister and husband expressed their grief and anger. >> slowdown. we don't need it dose we wanted. we don't we need it. police are looking for the driver of the car. they said it was not stolen and they do have surveillance video. they think the reward will help them get more information they are confident they will find the driver. struck alameda county corner identified another woman hit and killed in oakland early sunday morning. police say 42-year-old brooke smith was driving a subaru and was hit by an audi a4. the driver of the audi and its passengers got out and ran away and left the car behind. any other information on this crash is also asked to be called into police. a shooting outside of a starbucks involved a student from st. mary's college and a former student. investigators say the st. mary's student, a woman, was in a minivan in a shopping center parking lot about a mile and half from the school. police believe the shooter drove up to that van, fired several shots the wounding the woman and a male friend who was in the passenger seat. the shooter, identified as isaiah glaze, the former boyfriend of the woman. police say glaze ran away but was later found nearby after apparently shooting himself. it is pretty shocking. it is a small community. there is a lot of conversation going on around campus about what happened. >> st. mary's college will offer counseling to students and staff. the woman friend are out of the hospital. glaze is still in the hospital under police guard and is facing charges of attempted murder. president represent switzerland for the economic form as his impeachment trial in the senate is about to get underway. >> a very intense debate is expected between republicans and democrats about how to conduct the trial. ktvu is in the newsroom. >> reporter: the senate will proceed with the impeachment proceedings last week. members of the senate are prepared to argue over the terms of the trial. senate majority leader, mitch mcconnell, wants to make the trial go quickly. his plan is to condense opening arguments for and against the president into four 12 hour days that are expected to go past midnight. democrats will go first on wednesday and thursday with republicans following with their arguments on friday and saturday. senators will then be given 16 hours to question the prosecution and defense followed by four hours of debate. senate will say the trial must commence six days a week and only off on sunday until it is resolved. it will be nothing like a court trial. >> a trial and cortisol about evidence. the evidence can be the testimony of witnesses. the evidence can be documents. here, there is still doubt as to whether there is going to be witness. we do not know what documents are going to be admitted. >> the democratic impeachment managers will continue to push for witnesses in the trial, but a vote on that will not be expected until later in the proceedings. documents resented during the house hearings will only be admitted if 51 senators approved. the majority is republican, and is look to look back at the differing views that the republicans and democrats had during the them impeachment of clinton in 1999. >> it looks to me that no good case has been made for witnesses. >> and every trial that is ever been in the senate regarding impeachment, witnesses were called. >> house managers will argue the president's phone call asking ukraine to investigate joe biden and his son while temporarily withholding military aid rises to the level of abuse of power, and that the president abused his power and also instructed congress when they try to find out what happened. trump's defense team will claim that trumps actions are not criminal and do not rise to the level of impeachment. i want to get to adam schiff who spoke before the senate trial, and he said this trial is resembling nothing like the clinton trial. he also said in that case or in that trial of clinton, there was a bipartisan agreement on how everything would go. that is not happening here. he says the trial does not prescribe a fair process. he said this is going to be original. is criticizing how this is playing out so far, and yet we have not even started the debate over the rules of the trial. we do expect ran away and left the car behind. anyone with information on this crash is also asked to call oakland police. a send an eye shooting outside of a starbucks involve the shooting those student from saint mary's college and a former student. the st. mary's student, a woman, was in a minivan in a shopping center parking lot about a mile and a half away from the campus. they believe the shooter drove up to that van and fired several shots, injuring the woman and a male friend who was in the passenger seat. shooting dose the shooter, should say, was identified as isaiah glaze, the
