Hundreds of bags were backlogged in the system. People left without their things. I got off the plane a little after 6 00 and then as i was walking to the baggage claim the power all went out. So by the time i got to here the emergency power was back on but it wasnt working on the baggage claim so i waited for maybe a half an hour and decided to go. By morning travelers could return to the airport to be reunited with their bags. Southwest had suitcases separated by flight order. A few hours sleeping came back to get plain clothes. It wasnt terrible. It would have been a real pain. Communication wasnt great because i dont think they really know what happened. They said we dont have any idea how long its going to take.
