What sort of resources or information about shelters are you putting the people in touch with so they have someplace to go. So caltrans along with the city of san jose have been working for a couple of years now to talk about solutions and resources for the people within these areas. One of the things that the city and partnership with housing has been doing is coming out here daily for over a month to provide resources, locations and tools and whatever the people may need here to be able to address their concerns. It has been an ongoing thing. We were out here yesterday and some of them will be out here today to help the people to get the resources they need. One of the things the church group here mentioned is why cant they make this a legalized encampment . Why is that not a sustainable option. One e of the things that caltrans and our City Partners are doing is looking at alternatives on how we can best help not only the people in this area but also the communities around the area. So we are concerned that making sure that safety is a top priority. This particular location needs to be safe for everyone. So we are looking to make sure that people get the tools and resources and we understand thats one of the reasons that we make sure we have added kit people that can come out and provide the social services that people need. Everyone here will have a place to go . Everyone here over the month we have been looking to find places. Particular agencies have been here to make sure that if they want a place to actually go to, there is a place that they can go to. Thanks so much. So we have been hearing from some of the people who live in this encampment that there is 100 or so people that live down here but by the end of the day today, those people will have to find some other place to go and caltrans says they have been in touch with most of the people here trying to help them reek locate to shelters and other spots.
