A High School Graduation ceremony ends with gunshots. Is Oakland Police say a man and a woman were injured and 2 people were detained. Now that shooting happened around 7. 45. Last night. This is at skyline high schools graduation ceremony. Police say that some sort of fight led up to the shooting and now theyre looking for other possible suspects. There are some reports some kind of that is being looked into. We do know there multiple suspects, but were trying to identify exactly how many. Some students told us that they heard the gunshots. A ceremony wasnt fully and that people or rani as the students taken to the gym locker room for safety. Everybody was you know, graduation, she peoples to rest of the house. Fire was 1005 and they had like a bad man. Unlike after that, as you see, everyone started ready use it was like 20 shots. Those light. The well, police say this was an isolated incident. A 3rd person reportedly took themselves to the hospital with a gunshot wound. But police havent confirmed that there was a 3rd victim. Well let you know if they do. Well. Police in San Francisco are investigating a shooting in the bayview where they say at least one officer fired their weapon. We have video from the citizen app showing the scene here in the area of jennings street and carroll avenue. Was yesterday afternoon that Police Received a report of somebody in the area with a rifle. When officers arrived at one after finding the suspect, one officer ended up firing their weapon. They say the suspect wasnt hit by any bullets, but did have to be taken to the hospital for nonlifethreatening injuries that were sustained in what police described as a less than lethal use of force. Were still waiting for details about that. But we know the Police Department is going to be holding a town hall meeting within 10 days to describe 803, unlike many major cities rebounding after the pandemic. Oakland. So it accuses the company of having a legal monopoly over concerts and live events. We got washington correspondent maddie beertemple with more on that. The department of justice is taking ticketmaster to court. It is time. To break up live nation. Ticketmaster attorney general Merrick Garland said thursday the doj and 29 states plus dc are suing ticketmaster and its Parent Company live nation. Alleging they have an illegal monopoly over live events. It controls at least 80 of primary ticketing at major concert venues. The lawsuit says the company has its hand in nearly every part of the industry and blocks venues from using multiple ticket sellers. The result is that fans paying more in fees. Artists have fewer opportunities to play concerts, smaller promoters, get squeezed out and venues have fewer real choices for ticketing services. A post on live nations website calls the allegations baseless and says they ignore the real factors behind higher ticket prices. The company said in a statement, quote, the doj is lawsuit wont solve the issues fans care about relating to ticket prices, service fees and access to indemand shows. 8. 18, is the time and a man has pleaded not guilty. Now to the murder of a 29 yearold san mateo woman who officially says who Officials Say died of fentanyl overdose. Investigators say Sarah Tillman was found dead in her home last year. Now they tell us they found Text Messages with her alleged drug dealer. And according to the lawsuit, 2 months before her death, 2 men apparently warned that dealer that he had nearly killed her with the drugs that he recently sold or and in may of 2023. He sold or drugs laced with fentanyl again and it did end up killing her. The suspected dealer set to return to court in september for a preliminary hearing. Look at this. A man fell about 20 feet while rock climbing county fire posted this video of its Helicopter Rescue crew at around 1 oclock or so yesterday afternoon, just south of Stinson Beach pulling him to safety. Well, we have an update now to a story we first brought you yesterday morning. Antioch police are still looking for a man who robbed to Contra Costa County fair employees. Now we now know that nearly 90,000 was stolen from them. Police say the employees were depositing the money at the bank at summersville road. 2 oclock monday morning when the suspect pressed a gun to the back of one of them and took off witi a bag full of cash. This was their take for the carnival that day. Police have only describe the suspect as wearing dark clothing. Ask this. It was a man they know that officers are looking through evidence right now to see if they identify him better. Well, the owner of 2 longstanding restaurant at Fishermans Wharf is suing San Francisco. The suit alleges that the city failed to do its job of maintaining war and keeping the area to code to protect against erosion or earthquakes. The suit also blames homelessness and crime in the area for preventing the restaurant from being successful. Theyre now asking for financial reimbursement for recent improvements made to the 2 restaurants. The City Attorneys Office released a statement in response to that lawsuit saying, quote, over the last year, the owner has attempted a number of maneuvers to get out of paying the 1. 7 Million Dollars owes the city in back.
