Well, the shooting here that happened sunday in the seaside san jose apartment complex is the 3rd officerinvolved shooting to happen so far this year having city leaders want to look further into these officerinvolved shootings when they do happen. It also has residents here at this apartment complex, a concern. It all started with a 911 call People Living at this east side. San jose complex reporting a man shooting a gun outside his van. He was later identified as 41 yearold ricardo view. Every out and by the time Police Arrived shortly after 4 in the afternoon. This prompted a separate officer to discharge his firearm striking the suspect man was critically injured. In san leandro, Police Arrest a 13 yearold boy charging him with the deadly stabbing of an 18 yearold. Police say that stabbing happened at the bancroft avenue location in early april. They say Surveillance Video revealed a 13 yearold was the attacker and they say bh ams had a dispute before the 13 yearold stabbed the victim in the chest and arm. And today, San Francisco city officials and nurses at zuckerberg, San Francisco General Hospital are going to announce new legislation to address a nursing shortage. Its a ballot measure that would specifically address the shortage of nurses and 911, operators, the legislation they say would improve the retention and recruitment of these essential workers and it would let fulltime registered nurses buyback time worked as per diem nurses for retirement credits, it would also give 911 operators, the same safety Retirement Benefits as other First Responders get if approved. Its just south of thornton avenue and you can see that car wrapped around a tree and completely engulfed in flames. Earlier this morning, we have not gotten confirmation from police on if this is a fatality or not. However, we are seeing some equipment that is normally brought out by traffic fatality team. We are seeing some what appears to be family members of a loved one who may be involved in this. Now they are speaking in spanish. So ats hard to understand, but are hearing them say that their son was involved in this. And again, we have not gotten any confirmation that anybody has passed away, but there is a family here that is very distraught, emotional, who says that their son was involved. In so as we get more details from officially will keep you updated. But you can see completely wrapped around that tree. And keep in mind the speed limit on this street right now is around 30 miles an hour again. This is on fremont boulevard. Its near the intersection of thorton avenue in fremont boulevard. The portal is a project to connect caltrain and californias highspeed rail to the Salesforce Transit Center in downtown San Francisco.
