We are seeing fog in San Francisco now into the east bay hills and especially in the north bay. Youll notice winds are now returning from the coastline. We have this onshore breeze. Now and that is really pushing that fog right back into the bay yesterday. Those offshore today that fog is having its chance to return on into the bay. And thats here seeing exactly that. So do watch out for some low visibility is youre getting out there. Radars, otherwise showing clear dry conditions. Temperatures are currently in the 40s to low 50s San Francisco Hayward Alameda each shaking out right at or just about 50 degrees. A woman was attacked by a supposed worker over the weekend and it was all caught on video. Sarah stinson has that story for us. I looked out my window and i 2 women beating up another one. And based on how the women were dressed was clear to me that they were prostitutes. This woman speaking up after capturing video of a violent attack happening in front of her San Francisco home on shotwell street saturday. But she has to stay anonymous. I see them grabbing a woman by the hair and throwing her to the ground. Theyre kicking her one point. A woman sitting on her and the woman get offer and just kicks are very hard in the head. The woman who was beaten called 911. The concern neighbor came down to check on her. And apparently the fight began because she was in her car and the girls were looking inside of her car. And she said, what are you . Why are you looking in my car . Sfpd says officers found a woman matching the description of the attacker 3 blocks away. They arrested a 24 yearold woman from fairfield for aggravated assault shot will street. Is a problem with work. But im not used to seeing it during the day. So that was surprising. Police were on scene well into the evening least one car had what looked like bullet holes through his windshield. At this time, 2 men are being questioned in connection to that shooting. Well, this will start at 6. 30, this morning at 3 major hospitals in Santa Clara County and 13 clinics all together. Were talking about 4,000 nurses not be showing up to work today. One of the locations right behind me at the Santa Clara Valley medical center. The other location is oconnor. And thats in san jose as well as and then the other location. As far as the hospital saint louise regional in gilroy. So whats going to happen is they are not going to go to work, but they gave notice to their bosses, which is the county that they will be on strike until early friday morning. Heres what you need to know if youre a patient. Emergency Services Still will be available. Non Emergency Services will not a lot of appointments will have to be rescheduled despite the county bringing in about 1000 replacement nurses for the 3 days costing them millions of dollars. The nurses who will take to the picket lines and we will talk to them once it begins in about an hour from now. They are demanding a pay raise. They also say that they are looking for better staffing as far as the ratio and their safety. Theyre fearful sometimes when they are work when it comes to violent patients. So theyre looking for all of that. The county says they have been fair with their offer, including a 10. 5 pay raise. They are fully aware of whats going on. And if you have not been contacted yet, dont be surprised if the county reaches out to you and lets you know that your appointment has been rescheduled, but you can clearly see the lights on right behind me. So they will have Emergency Service is available for you. But nonEmergency Services will not. You can see that orange and yellow right there. Its right before you get to treasure island, the number one lane was closed. It seems that things there have cleared up. But now were starting to see those residual delays and taking a look at the tolls you can see right there across to get across that bridge. Its an 11 minute commute. But normally this is what we see during the 6 oclock hour. So this metering lights are on in. Those cars are starting to back up. So just factor that in as youre heading out this morning. But digging a little bit deeper into the east bay. You can see antioch to concord, 19 minute commute are starting to see more of that orange and yellow as the morning progresses and the crockett to mays over on westbound 80 right now, its only a 17 minute commute, which is great. And if we take a look at some drive times for you right here, weve got to check out of danville 12 minutes. A 24 minute commute from san leandro to milpitas a 22 minute commute from san jose to cupertino. And if we do a live look at the san mateo bridge, you can see things are 12 minutes there. No major delays and nothing happening on that actual bridge like we saw on the bay bridge. And lastly, taking a look at the south bay. Its a 30 minute commute from san jose over to menlo park. This is a big uturn on trump era policy that allowed people to have those plans for up to 4 years. Last administration took that provision which is very narrow. For a limited emergency coverage and made a loophole. So maybe the drive across the white house is spending the move as a way to protect consumers. Arguing that short term plans do not offer comprehensive care. Theyre being told you can pay this incredibly low pricing, a good insurance, but it turns out its not. But it turns, in fact, is not really insurance at all. But critics say the Biden Administration just wants people to stick with its own brand of Affordable Care. Saying it is taking away Consumer Choices and creating another problem creates gaps in Health Insurance. Some Health Policy experts are calling the rule change dangerous, saying that people who get sick now, arlen shortterm insurance will have no options if they hit their 4 months limit outside the Affordable Care enrollment period. The Biden Administration is throwing sick people out of their Health Insurance and leaving them an insured for up to 12 months. That same policy expert says most shortterm plans. So Affordable Care supporters have been worried for some time that shortterm plans would bring in younger, healthier people taking them away from obamacare policies and in the end they won.
