This all went down actually on friday moay. Reason being they discovered on friday, something scrawled in the bathroom. As you mentioned and in that scrawling, they said that there were threats going to be carried out today against 2 kids, possibly even 3. They have Surveillance Footage all over campus. So they looked at Surveillance Footage near that bathroom. People coming in going and they talk to those people. But so far, no arrest in this particular case could be an ongoing conflict between a couple of groups of kids on campus. But the police department, obviously they were alerted by this. So they jumped into it actually did the investigation well into the weekend and they actually sent out this statement overnight. So take a look at your screen. This is what they are saying to the community and the parents just to make sure that they feel a little bit safer if they drop off their child this morning, they say we recognize the stress and anxiety. These situations create for students, parents and community members. Both the Petaluma Police department and petaluma city schools take all threats of violence in our schools. Of course, the teens at the party, but also the people who woke up to gunshots. Chaos on a normally quiet street, gunshots and screams. Carter ring camera video, another neighbor who didnt want to appear on camera says she walked outside and saw the aftermath. Kids just started jumping over fences, tried to get away. Oakley. Police say the shooting happened just after 11 saturday night on shannon way near freedom high school. They were called to the home about 30 minutes earlier for a noise complaint. 18 yearold said she was going to shut down the party. So officers left. Thats what neighbors say 20 to 30 more kids showed up and tried to get into the home through the back door shortly after shots were fired, 3 teens were injured and sent to the hospital with nonlifethreatening injuries. A 16 yearold was killed. Young man just like screaming wailing. What we believe to be no. The way he did pass away. It was his brother. And in the south bay, san jose mayor matt mahan gave his first state of the city address since taking office back in january. He talked about the efforts to keep the community safe, including hiring more Police Officers. From the start of this year, our Work Together has been about getting san jose back on track. And getting our city back on track means keeping city hall focused on the basics. Basics like ensuring everyone is safe in their home and their neighborhood in their place of work and in their place of worship. This year, we have pushed hard to maintain san jose status as the safest big city in the bay area and put ourselves on the past to being the safest big city in america once again. Well, mayor mahan also asked residents to volunteer and help with the homelessness crisis and keeping the city clean from trash and graffiti. 7. 32 is the time and we want to go to the latest developments with middle east. Israel is launching new airstrikes against a mosque inside gaza and they are warning other terrorist groups as well to stay out of the war. This comes after more humanitarian aid rolled into gaza from egypt, at least 14 more trucks with fuel and humanitarian supplies have arrived in gaza. Also is really is upping its air assaults against targets in the gaza strip, as well as in the west bank in lebanon. And now Israeli Forces are fighting with hamas inside gaza for the first time ahead of whats expected to be a ground offensive at some point. Meantime, the rallies continue on both sides of this issue. This one is calling for the release of the hostages. You can see this rally happening in the south bay. There. Making its been just over 2 weeks since israel was attacked by hamas. People gathered at San Jose City hall sunday afternoon demanding these people be released. Well in the east bay, families gathered at splash pad park calling for an immediate ceasefire in gaza. They say they want to bring awareness to the children who are caught in the middle and for the humanitarian aid to come to those children in gaza. 7. 35 in the south bay, a statue worth about 500,000 was taken from outside of a home in saratoga. It. Were showing you this map of where the home is located. Saw norton road and the statue was taken from the property about a month ago or at the beginning of this month. But we dont know exactly what the statue was of or any other information. Well keep you posted if it resurfaces on the peninsula for the second time in 2 days, inmate at the maguire correctional facility in redwood city was found dead. The San Mateo CountySheriffs Office says a 34 yearold man was found dead alone in his cell saturday night. And officials suggest that it may have been a suicide. Also on friday, the jail says the 64 yearold who was incarcerated was found dead in his cell. And neither of those 2 inmates have been identified. Well, in the east bay, a woman was found shot to death in her car in oakland. Police say the shooting happened just before 9 oclock saturday night. It was on international boulevard near 82nd avenue and the east Oakland Youth Development center video here from the citizen app shows the police response. Police say this was initially reported as a car crash, but when they arrived on scene, thats when they discovered the woman inside with a gunshot wound. She later died from those injuries. The investigation is ongoing this morning. Well, the santa clara authorities have settled an unfair labor practice charge with its doctors. Valley Physicians Group is a union that represents more than 450 doctors in the county Health System and they accuse the county of threatening unionize. Doctors against striking over stalled contract. The settlement includes the county retracting the statement made by its executives and is now required 2 over to undergo training on California Labor law. Its 7. 37, and a police pulled over a car. They got a crash in. There was a 13 yearold driving. A 13 yearold girl was behind the wheel. There were 2 cars in san fran. So cisco actually on saturday morning around 08 30am, in the morning that officers were trying to pull over for traffic violations. But the drivers ignore their efforts and sped away. Kept going trying to evade the officers. Eventually those 2 cars were spotted near brandon and second streets. And one of the cars crashed into 2 other occupied vehicles. And thats when police got theriver out of the car. It was a 13 yearold girl. She was taken into custody.
