So rondo trail near oak knoll avenue is back open after 2 people riding bicycles were killed here. Cyclists say its eerie to be riding on the same road and have it look like nothing happened. Wrong place wrong time pusha t has been cycling in napa county for more than a decade. So when 2 people were killed tuesday, he started getting texts immediately. I got. Word of it. Last i was i bite. From napa to say just about every day the incident happened around 11 tuesday morning. California Highway Patrol says the load on the lumber truck shifted and the would collide with the 2 bicyclists. A man died on the scene. A woman was transported to queen of the Valley Hospital and later died from her injuries. Chp says cyclists were riding lawfully. We have cycling infrastructure, but we dont have enough of it and go. 20 times drugs, air force to side by side along with cyclists just have a comment some underwear on potentially. So well still see some of that patchy fog along the coastline. Thats where the temperatures stay. Much cooler. But anywhere away from the coastline. Boy, its going to be hot. And so the National Weather service as you heat advisories that go into effect starting tomorrow and continuing into thursday, all the way to San Francisco down the peninsula into the south bay east bay and the north bay. Go to see some temperatures running up the 80s, even some 90s likely to see some records broken as well. Well have more on that coming up in just a few minutes. The both doctors i spoke with have been in contact with their families since the war began. But over the last few days, theyve lost contact as power, Drinking Water medical supplies have now run out and gaza with the news of the hospital being hit today. Their concern is heightened bay area dental surgeon, doctor hani shaima says he had been speaking with his sister over the last week and a half. Could hear the sound of explosions in the background. He says she moved from her home to stay with her cousins further away from the border with israel. But he hasnt heard from them. And 3 days. When you know that your loved one, it beat that. Authorities say that they received a report of an unresponsive woman on the side of the road here on Mount Pleasant road in east saint xavier, joseph grant county park on october 9th. She went missing saying she was going to go for a short walk. That is something her family says she did quite often and would be gone for only a short period of time. The 2 people arrested in the smash and grab in San Francisco have pleaded not guilty. The smashandgrab happened. Early last thursday morning at the dior store in union square. Well, as you see that deberry low pressure right up in the gulf of alaska. But High Pressure to strong right now is sending all the rain well to the north of the bay area. Thats the way its going to be for at least the next couple of days. But watch youll see things change in the forecast model tomorrow. Got some patchy fog along the coastline, maybe just inside the bay. Otherwise, sunny skies. And you can see more of a northerly motion with the winds and that is that a weak offshore flow likely to develop as we get to thursday, another hot day around much of the bay area that will probably the hottest day of the week. And then as we get to friday, everything changes clouds begin to roll back in. Then before, you know, we start to talk about the much cooler temperatures coming our way. But tomorrow, enjoy it. Shes proposing a ballot measure that if approved would allow the Police Department to install and use more surveillance cameras, drones and artificial intelligence. It would also change some of the rules that prevent the police from pursuing suspects and cut back on some of their mandated paperwork. The measure also makes reforms to the Police Commission. The next couple of days that is going to send any threat of rain well to the north. So lots of sunshine tomorrow. Hot temperatures around the bay area, but it may not last for long. So enjoy these heat waves this time of year. Kind of quick hitters. In fact, looks like as we get to friday, things are really going to change thursday. Get a little bit of an offshore wind friday. The wind switched directions. And here we go. We start to see the clouds rolling temperatures really going to cool down as we get the weekend. Theres a chance we could be talking about some showers saturday night into early on sunday doesnt look like much. But behind that, unfortunately, weve got another storm system. Look a lot more impressive yesterday. Now want to head a little bit further north, a little east. Unfortunately, that leaves some gusty offshore winds as we get toward the middle of next week. So that being said, temperatures tomorrow plan on 70s 80s. You make way to San Francisco cooler along the coastline inside the bay. We each up in a hurry.
