Surprising was going to take a while, though. Even get near what theyre paying for the National Average, which is way below californias average crop was will tran live in burlingame to well. Gaspar says cannot drop enough. A lot of people. Yes, they like to see it go down but not enough. As far as some drivers. Heres marcus. You fill up how much every day i know you do rideshares. How much does cost you every day . I think every day, 6, 2, for again is. I bought 2020 12 im about 50. And as every day in the get to to 250. 250. Thats 250 miles for 60 every day. You can see he does rideshare and gas prices are going down but not as far as the drivers are concerned. Let me show you the gas prices right now. So take a look at your screen. A couple of reasons why we are paying less. Then just a week ago because demand is down, supplies up the summer months are over. Plus, california has switched to the winter blend a couple of months earlier. And that is white napa. You are waking up to 5 and 0. 72 in San Francisco, 5 and 0. 65. And last week it was 5 and 0. 77 in san jose. Youre paying 16 less. Excuse me. 16 since less today than you were one week ago. According to gas experts, they believe it will continue to go down another 10 to 0. 15 as we get closer to the winter months. But you know what . My advice is continue shopping because right now the average in california is 5. And 0. 62. The National Average is 3. 80. Take a look at the number right above the canopy. There are 5. 9. And yes, when it comes to gas, there are some shoppers out there. Keep shopping around, guys, back to you. All right. Thank you. Its a good way to describe the whole bay area right now. Its very foggy for some a very sunny for others. And that fog is pushed to ride into the bay. So where youre seeing gets dense real quick about half the Golden Gate Bridge has sunshine and the other half does not. So its a prime example right there. We are going to be seeing this fog their hour or so for many areas as we do have dense fog advisories across pretty much all the north bay for 101, from the Mendocino County line all the way down to the Marin Headlands in the midst of some dense fog highway. 37 is well on over between delay nevado and then American Canyon up through napa all under dense fog advisories. Not to mention all the fog you have along the bay shore, too. Now skies are dry. If you see any wet spots, its that heavy mist and drizzle from our blanket of fog that super compressed right into the bay this morning skies will clear out this afternoon and believe it or not, were actually in for quite the warm afternoon continuing to warm over the next few days as well. So a great cool start, sunny and dry finish tomorrow morning. Likely to see some more low gray for your wednesday morning. Start followed by an even warmer afternoon for your wednesday afternoon. Tomorrow temperatures will continue to climb into thursday. And im not expecting as much marine layer towards thursday morning. A little bit on the clear side to start the day. Daytime highs today will get to the 60s and 70s for San Francisco as well as elsewhere along the coastline. A couple of foggy holdouts right at the coast while the rest of us see nothing. But sun later today will be 70s to 80s for daytime highs with a lot more 80s on the map today than we saw yesterday. So temperatures are climbing and likely notice a difference for most areas. Oakland at 76 today, danville, up to conquer, teach at 84 while nap at 85 degrees. Petaluma and center fell at 82. Tomorrows temperatures rise into the 90s inland and will rise further into the mid 90s coming thursday, bayshore cities will near the 90s yourselves on thursday and even some coastal areas could hit 80 degrees on that same day thursday. After that, well start to cool down into friday and a really cool off into the rest of the weekend with saturdays daytime highs that are very warmest only in the 70s, john, thank you for that little that fog is making for a very slow, very sluggish morning commute for a lot of us out there. While 80 traveling through 80 fremont. If you are there, youre seeing the fall. Youre also seeing traffic drive a little slower along to a a one on one in the city. And if you are a little further down along 82, you see that fog. Things are slowing down. They ridge right now still around. 21 minutes, at least we can see some of the cars, the toll plaza we couldnt earlier, a Richmond Center fell bridge about 11 minutes tolls to 101. Can see those signs there as youre traveling. Were going a bridge about 33 minutes. Those pockets of fog along the golden gate and want to one up in the north bay. Lets check those drive times down from 70 now at 56 minutes. 85 to middle part. Daria, back to you. Time to talk winners and losers with our financial expert rob black morning, rob morning, daria. Never let a dollar go to i do whats going on with the dollars on the market right now . Little down. Yeah, im a big update yesterday. So were getting some of back today. Interest rate creep is back up to 4. 8 on the 10 year. Thats good for savers. Bad for investors in the shortterm rate front masters long term concerns on israel, conflict and the impact on Global Economy and potentially oil. Iran gets involved, its going to be a messy u. S. Stock market for a couple few days. But then it settle down of know, inflation is hitting the girl scouts. Tara, im upset by cookies. Going for 5 bucks a box to 6 bucks a programs in world. Okay women. First of all, you saved money on the taxes. You said you made money. Because so now you have dollar extra for the boxes you still i am. Thats 20 actor. We buy a box or 2 because i do think its important to teach young women how to be entrepreneurs. How to market head of sales, how to pastor people, hey, you want to buy a box . I think thats super important stuff. Yeah. And well, heres another thing when everything adds up. So my kid just one traveling and he didnt understand about the outer network bank fees and every time he was taken out like, 20 of this other currency, it was like 4 bucks. But you dont want to be left with this currency when you come home. So how do you get the sweet spot there . Thats really i noticed a you have been working together for roughly 25 years. Back in 1998, atm fees are about a buck 97 out of a market 2010 there, 3. 74 this year, 4. 73. Talk about creep up few you know, it can use things like apple pay sties. 20 and said taking up 20, take out 200 so you can get hit by a fee at least lower the percentage of the cost of your own money. Well, that too. But then you dont have to turn in all those shackles and then theyre worthless. You know, i mean, like you. Generals rubles, whatever your pain. Okay. Retail sales. Things are looking good except for electronics. We have enough gadgets now. Time. You know, this is for the tie towards the economy. Spend a lot of money and retail sales. The only weak spot last month in september was electronics. Like you mentioned, we spent 1. 1 increase online one person, extra Motor Vehicle and auto parts, Food Services up 9 tenths of a percent month over month. But year over year 9. 2 . Thats how much were spending more at restaurants and bars that hurts. It shows us this is not as weak of economy. Some people predict it or it shows you that consumers spending in the face of a pending slow down or maybe soft landing recession kind of situation. Strong. We have jobs in the u. S. Again, its one good. News is bad news because it probably means the fed will keep rates high or longer. Now does that. And when you say that that counts like eating out and going to the Grocery Store, just buying everything. And thats just eating out bars. Services. Okay. We know going to Grocery Store costs more now, by the way. And speaking of food, lets go on to this a big deal because its always interesting when insurance decides to cover things and when they do and they tend to say anything. Cosmetic like your weight, they call were not going to cover it. Tens of thousands of people are using this this drug to lose weight. Yeah. About 2 of the u. S. Population at this point in i think its a i think that would be the Biggest Disruptive invention u. S. History. Ty towards obesity. But i think its bigger i i think its bigger than automobile. This is globally a huge problem obesity and overweight causes heart fire, colorectal, prostate cancers, asthma stroke, heart disease, a chronic back pain. I beatys hypertension much, much more. Yeah. So a Company Called novo nordisk notice that gop create a hormones which triggers to be created in your body naturally to the packers. And thats awesome. So the 2 big drug frozen people with covid this point in time, 70 of United States is obese. Now, keep in mind like game of thrones finale was watched by 30 of americans. This is huge as far as an epidemic cozy and it states if were least 15 weight, which is common on brother, lost that much. It was like a magic, really because it cut down on is creating his his as ice cream. Now, heres where the story gets even bigger. Dari. Okay. It cuts down on creating. Which could come help on opioids. It could not cut down on nailbiting, alcohol addiction and other addictions. This is a blockbuster blockbuster times 10, not over. Overstating this 800 Million People globally are obese. 50 million children arbys worldwide. Oh, know i saw 60,000 new prescriptions are written every week. By the way, thats a lot of pundits only go up in. The question is will insurance cover . Yeah. People are going to hate the fact people. Well, but like you just said, i like what you said. It means so much more than like they call loss losing weight. You know your problem. Not a medical but like you said, all those complications so they should cover that. I guess. Absolutely. In my opinion, we have to figure out a way it probably wont be directly through insurance. If i were to throw down a little bit more on i think its a game changer like gyms, where we go to lose weight. Were going to now go to learn how to Mountain Bike ride how to climb a walls were going to learn how to do more active sport. This is a game changer. We should embrace it. Will we . I dont know. I think the Insurance Companies are bought, but congress is trying to get through for medicare and that would help a lot of Senior Citizens who are overweight. And again, my mom was and she had a lot of these diseases. All righi. So im pulling for okay. And before you go crazy, lets see. We have to see longterm effects. Only been around for 9, 0, 5, 6 years or something. So we need to see what happens. Long term. Yeah. And there have been some complications with stomach but it is a very small percentage and more studies are being done on like kidney failure. As more studies are done, they were going to say stomach issues. Kidney failure will take the stomach and well, we shall see. Okay. Michelle all right, before we jump on that bag thank you.
