Well, Emergency Services in san ramon are also implementing a new program to trying to prove how they respond to mental distress calls. Starting this week, it will be firefighters. That will be the First Responders to these mental distress calls instead of police. They think it might be one way deescalating a situation. Now, this would only apply to incidents that dont involve any immediate danger to the patient or to others. Police will be there to. Theyll be staged nearby at a second as a secondary responder, the citys fire and Police Departments are they have started their training last summer to increase their awareness about mental and Behavioral Health crises. What was going on in union city and now we know more about what happened. 3 people were stabbed. One died at the scene. 2 others were hurt yesterday morning at the tropics Mobile Home Park on almaden boulevard. Its disturbing and a little frightening. Heard that there was some kind of altercation. A couple of people got stabbed. And when police got there, thats when they found the 3 victims. And then after that, a couple hours later, they arrested a man name Carlos Hernandez in mountain view. They have not told us yet. Now this month, the Pleasant Hill and concord, bart stations are going to be suspending trips so they can clear away any potentially hazardous trees from the track. Now the citys District Attorney has charged santos de la rosa with murder seconddegree robbery and assault with a deadly weapon. Kron 4 Sarah Stinson has details. He says the community there is relieved the man accused of killing yohannes to wall d is off the streets and everyone is hopeful justice will be served. Its been 2 months since the death of a clerk of a shop in San Franciscos richmond to aldi was beaten with a baseball bat when he tried to stop a shoplifter. He did not get to go home because somebody decided not only that they would steal from the store. But that what they were taking was worth his life. San francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins announced charges against 22 yearold santos de la rosa, who was arrested in hollister on wednesday. De la rosa was arraigned on thursday where a judge denied him bail after the das office called de la rosa a risk to public safety. The main perpetrator was caught. And off and hes off the streets. I mean, frankly, was giving a lot of the residents here are just a lot of discomfort to know. He was still out there. Drew men attended the arraignment of de la rosa. He also helped make a go fund me page for the family as they grieve the loss of to wall d. The main breadwinner of the family. He upstanding he was incredibly hard working and its very evident by. By the incident itself that he was trying to defend a store that wasnt even you know, it was he was he was serving as a clerk. The criminal complaint filed by the da alleges de la rosa attacked the shop keeper as he was trying to steal 2 cans of beer after the beating. The complaint alleges de la rosa threw the bat at a second victim in the store and ran into a getaway car. The driver has yet to be caught. The suspect is for tending to be a walmart employee tried reach you about a fraudulent transaction. So the suspect calls the victim. I e u to demand money back from the transaction and then offers to transfer that call to local law enforcement. They then asked the victim to clear your debt by sending that money through wire transfer. Caller knows the victims name address and phone numbers. Police want to remind the public this information. Its really easy to find online and that phone numbers can be easily to skies. Look as if they are from a legitimate business. So if you receive a call like this, do not provide personal or Financial Information over the phone, especially highly Sensitive Information to you. Send it back to both the desk. Did not drown, but in fact, died of abuse. They also say that was a second child who was abused at that home. That child suffered lifethreatening injuries. Investigators found the children at about 9 oclock monday night after receiving calls of a toddler drowning. The child was taken to the hospital but couldnt be saved. So as a result, destiny deebo and Tyshawn Haywood now have been charged with murder, child abuse and torture. Theyre each being held on a Million Dollars bail. The san jose daycare were 2 drowned was ordered shut down immediately. State officials suspending the license of happy, happy day care. They say 3 children fell into the daycares backyard pool on monday. 2 of them died. They were both one year old girls. Police say the victim was waiting at a bus stop in front of the wells fargo at the Hillsdale Shopping Center victim says he was it surrounded them by a group of men on wednesday, 5 men started punching him. Apparently one of them, in fact, pulled out the knife that you see here on the screen. The victim was able to escape and call police. And when officers arrived, they identified the 5 and took them into custody. Oakland police say the act of vandalism on lgbtq bar and oakland does not suggest it was a hate crime.
