But had to cancel the pursuit for Public Safety reasons. The suspects did leave behind one car. It was a land rover that police say they drove through a front window to gain access to the store. Police determined the car was stolen out of sacramento. Employees are still trying to figure out how many items were taken. Some shoppers say theyre surprised to louis baton burglarized so quickly. I was here actually 2 days ago. I know leave it on. Just opened up all of Broadway Plaza was shut down to vehicle traffic after the norths from flash robbery in november of 2021. Broadway plaza management city council and police reopened this summer. The suspects were able to drive their car right up to the store front. But employees say the current staffing crisis is endangering patients. Safety and the strike is scheduled to happen. Hospitals and Emergency Departments are expected to remain open. Also was honored with a lifesaving medal on monday. He accepted humbly saying he was just doing his job. You know, anybody in law enforcement, first responder, paramedic firefighter, they would all, you know, do the same you know it. Its good to know that that baby is going a little fruitful life now. And thats also obviously because of officer oswald. Now he recommends everybody at home to get a first aid class. Go get cpr certified because you really never know if youre in a situation where you could save someones life well, and feel like those should be kind of mandatory. The crash happened at 5th and market streets last night. Apparently theres more to it. Were learning that now. We first told you about this last night. It was breaking news that San Francisco police. Now were looking for the driver of the second vehicle that they believe first at the woman and then took off. This is video from the scene. Crews released the footage of the dash cam video to investigators today. Theyre not releasing it publicly, but they did allow us to watch the video. It shows the driverless cruise car and another vehicle waiting at the intersection for the lake to go green. Both vehicles start to move when it goes green. But thats also this pedestrian this woman tries to cross right in front of the video shows the human driven car hitting this woman and then driving away. The woman gets thrown in front of the cruise car and gets run over. And police have said the woman was struck and pinned under the crews. Card actually took the jaws of life to rescue her. She did suffer traumatic injuries. We do not know how shes doing tonight. Police have also not released her identity. We now know the 2 children who drowned at the daycare in san jose monday were both under the age of 5, a total of 3 kids fell into a pool at this home daycare yesterday. Only one of them survived. Investigators are now trying to figure out how the children got to the pool area in the first place. A walkway that leads from the back door sliding door into the back area. There access point into the pool area and somehow along the way, there are ways that those doors opened no charges have been filed, according to the California Department of social services. Investigators toward the home in 2020 for a pre licensing inspection and changes to the pool area where requested by the department in 2021, the Department Gave the daycare the green light to open, saying the pool had been made inaccessible. 2 people have been arrested in connection to a drowning of a 2 yearold boy. This is in rodeo. The sheriffs deputies in Contra Costa County say the toddler drowned in a bathtub at a home on california street just before 9 oclock last night, the 2 people arrested have been booked on charges of murder, torture and felony infliction of injury to a child. The purpose here, of course, is to lower the chance of a big fire in the future. Get rid of some of that fuel that has grown and dried out. Thats where some of the wind gusts likely be the strongest overnight tonight and throughout the day tomorrow, starting to see some of that fog again along the coastline. But look how thin that is right down in the service, right around 220 feet below. So. If youre caught that a pretty dense out there right now, but overall looks like the pattern beginning to change those offshore winds starting to develop. That means were going to clear out your skies, bringing lots of sunshine. All right. Lets talk about the wind forecast overnight tonight. All of a sudden you start to see those offshore winds that northeasterly wind beginning to develop early in the morning. Then as we head toward the middle of the day, there you go. That would likely be the peak of the winds and thats where youre talking 30, maybe some 40 mile an hour gusts out there. So got to be awfully careful. Those kind of conditions. The same time, humidity, of course, of those offshore winds coming way down. So talking the teens by tomorrow afternoon. So not red flag warning criteria still elevated fire danger around the bay area. All right. Other than that, i mean, this is going to be one of those gorgeous days around the bay area. And thats going to be a nice stretch. Temperatures out there, the 60s, even some 70s inland right now. So, you know, are ahead and High Pressure in control and that ridge, it is going to dominate our weather tomorrow in the sa francisco. How about some 70s and some 80s into San Francisco. That is a nice day. And thats whats going to be interesting about this little heat wave start to see those numbers creeping up in the 70s along the coastline, 77 and a half moon bay. Maybe couple 80s up toward the coastline on thursday and friday. So some of the warmest temperatures of the year, 70s and 80s inside the bay and then you get some hot ones. 91 san carlos, a lot of 90s in the south bay by tomorrow afternoon. And youre looking at 91 in fremont 90 in union city. Thats going to be the trend here over the next couple of days. Temperatures maybe not record levels, but it is going to be hot in spots and some of the temperatures. We just havent seen that all year long. So i think were going right next. Couple of days. These numbers soaring on thursday and friday. That would probably the peak of the then we begin to cool things down just a little bit on saturday, especially on the coastline. That fog returns on sunday. And then by next tuesday of next week, maybe start to talk about some rain again. But the next stretch here, the next 4 days or so.
