Collision was reported around 09 30pm, tonight and officers say it happened near 5th and Market Streets. The pedestrian has been transported to the hospital with traumatic injuries. The areas going to be close as police investigate. Police say the vehicle involved remained on scene did not have an occupant at the time of the crash. So no driver was in this Autonomous Vehicle. We just got video from the scene. The video does show a cruise car there. Weve reached out to cruise for response on this crash. Workers could be on strike later this week. Have a deal is not reached. The strike would begin on wednesday. Kron fours amanda hari has more on how negotiations are going. Both the union and kaisers say theyre making progress, but they havent made a deal just yet. They say if the strike happens, it would be the Largest Health care strike in u. S. History. Thousands of kaiser permanente. Workers in multiple states could go on strike on wednesday. Union leaders say its because of what they say are unfair labor practices and unsafe Staffing Levels at hundreds of kaiser hospitals and facilities. We want to make sure that all of our patients that come in are getting quality care. And that is why we are. Im having a strike. Sonia alan smith has worked for kaiser for more than 15 years. Shes a frontline Healthcare Worker and is on the Service EmployeesInternational Union bargaining committee. She says the committee will stay at the bargaining table as long as kaiser executives are there. We just want executives to bargain in good faith. Union demands include raises protections against outsourcing in subcontractors as well as medical plans for retiring ease. A spokesperson for kaiser is urging workers to reject all calls for a strike because theyre making progress. But the union says theyve taken all the necessary steps and theyre ready to strike. We have given kaiser executives, a tenday notice. They have that apple time to make sure that the they have services in place to take take care of the critically kaiser says if the strike happens, there is enough staffing to keep hospitals and Emergency Departments open. But nonemergency and Elective Services may be rescheduled if a deal isnt reached, the strike will begin at 06 00am on wednesday. It would last for 3 days ending saturday morning. Well, a San Francisco donut shop worker is shaken up tonight after Armed Robbers barged into her store, taking cash from the register from employees and from an atm as violent, the armed robbery. Was it happy donuts in San Franciscos know valley neighborhood this morning, no one was physically hurt, fortunately, but the shops owner is now considering some changes in response to the crime. Security video shows one man in the kitchen. The other hopped over the counter and began demanding money. The shop manager wrath of and says shes worked for this company for more than 20 years. Devastated news from the south bay today. 2 children drowned in a pool at a daycare in san jose. It happened early this morning at happy, happy home daycare on fleetwood drive. Police responded after a group of kids fell into the pool. 3 children were taken to a hospital for treatment. 2 of them died. Neighbwrs we spoke with say they couldnt believe what happened. Fire engines come ambulances you know, like will happen. And then just more and more kept coming. And once i found out 3 kids were impacted at. Heartbreaking per protocol with the death of children. Funeral plans are now in place for senator Dianne Feinstein who died last weekend. Police say the victim was walking in the street when she was hit by the car at about 9. 30, this evening. This is near 5th and Market Street right now. This portion of the street just about a block of it is closed off traffic. Cant get through here. Officers did render aid before the woman was sent to the hospital. Right now, her condition is unknown. This is still a developing story. Raj parr julius still getting treatment there for his burns at Saint Francis hospital in San Francisco. He says he was working at at the un food and liquor in el sobrante couple weeks ago and kendall burton, according to police, walked in and tried to steal some items. The 2 got into a confrontation and police say burton, then said parish really on fire with a lighter and kerosene. We were tremendously side and this was an awful event. Our heart goes out to the victim and his family members cant go too much into the facts. But fortunately. The evidence was captured on Surveillance Video or other witnesses and will we look forward to seeing how those play out in court . Burton has several previous convictions dating back to 2004 and his record. The spends several different counties california. Hes currently in custody on a 5 Million Dollars bail. Meantime, a gas station in hercules has seen several thefts and at least one robbery in recent months. Now police are warning folks to be on the lookout for suspicious activity while at the pump. Hercules police sharing several clips of crimes happening at gas stations and other communities. They show thieving thieves, grabbing items right out cars while owners are pumping gas. One of the cases turned into a robbery when a woman struggled with the person trying to steal her purse. Police say all of these incidents happened in broad daylight with several people nearby.
