A look at the weather with dave spahr. Good morning, dave. Well, good morning, stephanie. Good morning, everybody. And we started the actually overnight some showers working their magic a little bit here and leftovers. All that surface moisture from the rain. So their go after negotiate through a little the way, some ground fog that were starting to see. Some breaks happened already. But as we speak for right now, again, the fog pretty much taken hold of the east bay shoreline, as we can see and even covering up the shrubbery there as well. And well get some clearing going on this. We do have cloud cover a loft in which 2 contend heres what it looks like on the big view of the west coast. You can see that trough digging in here right here in the west coast. And as a result, todays going to quite a bit of cloud cover around. We could see a couple Little Spring of showers here and there are more important with daytime heating. Its perhaps some Thunder Showers, a possibility be very isolated, of course, in nature. Back to that fog business, the ground fog. We have mixes out fairly quickly. But again, a lot of cloud cover aloft in which to deal with at least today. Our numbers. 61 going for any also for concord love, upper 50s going on east bay shoreline and 50s control the north bay. Now for contrast were a couple degrees behind in a few Little Pockets here, but well probably do that into the afternoon, too, as we wont be as warm today. Certainly as we were from. Well, we will be tomorrow. Opening up the skies a little bit this afternoon, 11 about 61, 2 oclock calling it. 64 still have to keep in reserve the chance of a little isolated shower. More importantly, a thunder shower thrown in there, although very isolated after that looks like a warming trend of end of next week. Well have your entire forecast coming up in a bit. Stephanie. Okay, dave, thank you. We continue to remember the life and legacy of senator Dianne Feinstein. She was the longest female serving or excuse me, longest serving female senator in history. Her colleagues honoring her as a trailblazer. It is with profound. Set that we bid farewell. My dear friend. And outright champion for the state of california. Senator Dianne Feinstein. I do so as i say personally, as a friend neighbor and fellow franciscan. All of us do so with great pride as the great senator. Congresswoman barbara lee slammed the governor saying the idea that a black woman should be appointed only as a caretaker to simply check a box is insulting to countless black women. Political analysts say those comments also reduce the list of caretaker appointees. Spooky like that. Okay. Yeah. Morning, stephanie. Good morning, everybody. And a lot of cloud cover or remain all day today. It looks like. And keeping those temperatures down a bit in tahoe. Dont you know, today looks like little snow. Theyll get a little bit more for tomorrow. Mixture with rain, of course, and everything flavor of winter going on here. But plying with temperatures as we get into next week by tuesday, up to the middle 60s back to kuwait towers. We referenced already lot of overcast skies. Well see some breaks in this in the afternoon. Get some sun a little bit going on here. But quite a bit of cloud cover through the day today. Theres a trough digging in the west coast is providing a lift. Thats the name of the game here. And a lot of the colder air. That means the ice crystals rubbing up against each other were looking out for maybe that daytime heating little risk there of a thunder shower or 2. Theyre very isolated in nature and certainly to amount of moisture that will continue up in the mountains for that rain slash snow depending on the time of day. This is going to lift pretty quickly behind it. We get that offshore wind pop to make note of. Meanwhile, heres whats going on in the tropics. There are 2 tropical systems worth making note of well in the atlantic. Dont worry about them, not going to face the u. S. Theyre going to a nice little turn and go back up north. Not bother anybody back to the west coast here. Once we lift this low, we have those offshore winds pop. Then a new trough by tuesday, wednesday, not going to do much for us. Maybe some scattered clouds, some winds and temperatures will continue to climb. But its on the backside of that. Always. We get that offshore wind. So well see a little offshore wind pops. We got to watch a little bit. They dont appear to be very longlasting and they dont look like theyre going to get into the bay area. Central valley looks like it may be hit a bit, but not so much for us. Ok, 66, San Francisco in your 4 zone forecast. The 60s at the coast. Not unusual this time of year with a lot of cloud cover added in. 66 for burlingame will do about a 69 foster city. 68 palo alto in the south bay, middle to upper 60s east bay shoreline midsixties with tri valley, upper 60s. This looks like a bit of a winter pattern here for us. 71 conquered and also walnut creek at 71. Everybody else is pretty much checking in the 60 64 fairfield. Thats a trooper. 69, along with vacaville pretty close. 66, meanwhile, for napa do about a 74 for santa rosa. Some of the forecast area miss some are already there. It comes wednesday, thursday and friday into the lower 90s. It looks like lots of sunshine through the week here, but against a thing were watching out of those offshore wind pops. Theyre quick. So thats the good news here. Even though were drying all its going upon row through some of the last for long. So thats probably why they havent issued any fire. Good morning, dave. Well, good morning, stephanie. Good morning, everybody. And the size or traditional fog reading us this morning, we are going to cloud cover or stay cloud cover. A lot of the bay through the day today. There is a chance of an isolated Thunder Showers in the north and the east bay, maybe with the daytime heating. But on balance, were going to see a lot of this with breaking up. Some holes in there get some sunshine, peeking out a little bit for the afternoon there. So variable clouds probably covers everybody. And for all day. But this just shows you the extent city, extensive. Of the cloud cover we have over the bay for this morning. So there you have no surprise. A low overhead doesnt have a lot of moisture which to work with. What it does is delivering some showers in mountain snows up to around tahoe for this weekend. Now will be breeze scattered about here and mixed in with rain. But usual flavor of winter trying to sneak it knows in a bit. With the fog. We do have the ground that will mix out pretty quickly here and well be left with essentially mostly cloudy skies are temperatures are mostly in the 50s for right now. Couple little lower 60s off towards the quirkiness trade in delta. Quick contrast to whele we were yesterday. Couple degrees ahead. We wont be that much different, though throughout the afternoon. The longest serving female senator in history died thursday at the age of 90 flags were flown at halfstaff outside San Francisco city hall yesterday where feinstein served for almost 20 years. Kron fours dan thorn reports on how colleagues on capitol hill a remembering her. Missus, feinstein, senator Dianne Feinstein fulfilling her duty as a Public Servant in till the end casting what would be her final vote on the senate floor just hours before her death, a black cloth and white roses set up on Feinsteins Senate desk on friday. Her colleagues honoring her as a trailblazer. It is with us. Profound. Set that we bid farewell. My dear and outright champion for the state of california. Senator Dianne Feinstein. I do so as i say personally, as a friend neighbor and fellow san franciscan. All of us do so with great pride as the great senator. She has been to our state, the longestserving woman, senator from california. Feinstein was San Franciscos first female mayor. And later, a storied United States senator bay area. Congresswoman zoe lofgren says feinstein was a role model for all women in politics. She was a groundbreaker t has always looked out for people and especially encourage other women to fulfill their potential. And i feel grateful to her for that. During her 5 terms in the senate, feinstein held powerful positions serving on the Senate Judiciary committee. Chair of the Senate Rules Committee and chair of the intelligence committee. All firsts for a woman. Former colleagues say she leaves behind a legacy of getting things done. Her legacy of bills. It is remarkable. From the on assault weapons to protection of lake tahoe. Despite feinsteins work in washington, the former mayors influence in San Francisco never faded. She was really a star and i consider her to be one of the best mayors in the history of the city feinsteins successor, art ag knows a progressive leader to her moderate approach says politics aside, feinstein always met the challenge. Dianne feinstein showed the country what her determination means even when it came to her own passing. And i admire her for that, too. Feinstein was the oldest serving senator recent years. Concerns mounted about her health and memory. But her many years of work on gun control, including the federal assault weapons ban is what former colleagues say. Shell be remembered for. The takeaway. From this incredible woman, this incredible leader is that she just did so many Amazing Things for the state of california and the nation in her remarkable careers. Thorn reporting for us. As San Franciscos mayor feinstein was also ally in the rights movement. She supported the search for answers when the aids epidemic ravaged the city. The mayor says details for services for the late senator will be announced after she hears from feinsteins family. The sudden death of the late senator is raising the question who will replace her in the u. S. Senate. Its now up to Governor Newsom to appoint someone to finish feinsteins term. The governor has committed to choosing a black woman, but he also said it would not be for Anyone Running for feinsteins seat as kron fours. Dan kerman tells us thats created a bit of a political minefield for the governor. Interim appointment, it was just weeks ago that the governor confirmed if he had to appoint someone to fill out senator Dianne Feinsteins term, it would be someone on an interim basis, not one of those running for her seat in 2024 primaries just a matter of months away. I dont want to tip the balance of that. Congresswoman barbara lee slammed the governor saying the idea that a black woman should be appointed only as a caretaker to simply check a box is insulting to countless black women. Political analysts say those comments also reduce the list of caretaker appointees. Cant imagine any highprofile black woman, democrat in california except in the appointment because of this like was at the bar usf politics. Professor james taylor says appointing lee now would acknowledge the work black democrats did during the 2020 president ial election. Not doing so. He says, but not only alienate them but have greater implications going forward. Theres a sense being slighted here. And if that is carried over into 2024 is going to suppress democratic turnout vote. It will definitely hurt gavin newsom in 2028 will because again, of a certain kind of political resentment if he were to appoint barr. Really nice to think that would be the smart political move but it does transform the race immediately because its much different when youre the incumbent of fundraising becomes more more available. The fact that are on the ballot. Listen as the United States senator makes a difference in how peoplare reading the ballot. Kron. 4 political analyst michael yaki says one option to avoid the political minefield may be to appoint feinstein starter. Catherine. An attorney and former San Francisco judge. Its out of the box, but its not really that out of the box and certainly not unprecedented terms of the way that you see other appointments in the past and others country been handled. Family members tend drop a little bit less fire. Its unknown when the governor will make his decision. Dan kerman kron, 4 news. Many in the bay area continue to remember senator feinsteins legacy, including former mayor willie brown. Our first Charles Clifford has more on that. I obviously. Instantly didnt believe it. Friday morning. Former San Francisco mayor willie brown said he was shocked to hear of the passing of senator Dianne Feinstein, especially after she had voted in the senate on thursday. And so i have that i built bill, of course, of the night when she was function, them yesterday the former mayor in the senator had a friendship and working relationship that went back decades. Brown recalled the time of the 1960s when feinstein who was then known as diane burman showed up to a rally to protest discriminatory housing policies in San Francisco and who showed and so less of it. This woman pushing of this white woman pushing a buggy with a kid in it was today burma at that and are doing it looking forward. Mayor brown says he hopes that governor gavin newsom will make good on his promise to appoint a black woman to replace feinstein in the senate, although he appointed the latino that a proceeded to say if they have the opportunity he would appoint a black keep that commitment in San Francisco. Charles clifford kron, 4 news. Kron 4 also spoke with east bay congresswoman barbara lee about newsom stance on all this. And anything except that we need to take time to honor the legacy. Ally of senator feinstein. Thats all i have to say. Theyll be time to talk about other things about politics and policies. But right now, you know, and i share this earlier, you know to do . Fish uls journalists, people who you know, in the midst of all of these crimes is this is a hard life that we live. And and so we have to take time to be human and not forget the human aspect of what is taking place amongst each other. Theres been no indication yet of when the governor will make his decision. Good morning, everybody. All looks like the sun is trying to be a trooper here. But take a look at the east bay shoreline shot off towards the distance is trying to peel open. Some of this cloud cover and the however, are going to see quite a bit of cloud cover going on for your saturday will make up for tomorrow, though. Clear things out in earnest now with this low overhead. Again, clear patches developing only will heat up the surface and the surface level of the atmosphere which will help generate potentially an isolated thunder shower. Maybe even after a little sprinkle got to keep. That mentioned. The forecast. But the driving factor is the fairest way to say for everybody, variable clouds on balance today, breezy although onshore winds, you can expect for the most part that will change briefly on sunday with a pop of offshore winds 50s up north. 57 San Francisco also for livermore. 61 conquered in antioch about 61 as well. Back to future cast today. You know, hes were toying around all this cloud cover and a few little showers pop up during the afternoon with the heating again, were watching out for that isolated Thunder Showers. And yes in the mountains, this color is a shun israel. Were looking at snow mixed in with rain during this up to get this going to happen overnight, though. Its the coolest, however, to happen. But its with us today and even a little bit into tomorrow. Just aalittle flavor of winter before everybody starts warming up next week. By the way, things open up nicely for us. Tomorrow were back to mostly sunny and even bumping up the temps a little bit for the afternoon highs. So the game plan is this for today. Its considerable clouds over clouds. Cool tomorrow, mostly sunny and breezy and sunny and mild for early in the week. Weve got 70s for the bay 80s going on. Well inland. Pretty cool. And then next late in the week, rather, weve got sunny and warming here little flavor of summer as we revisit those lower 90s for high temperatures. Now back to those winds. As i mentioned today on shore, theyre going to be on balance. That low picks up and lift. So we get the backside of the low and boom, we got offshore winds pop in the 20s now, not unheard of. We have a little bit of a rain event, sort of that happened overnight that helped out and this is not going to last that long. So have the statements with that at all. But that scenario was going to play out next week, too, with other passing front that will be dry. So watch for these pops here of offshore wind. 65 San Francisco. Quite a bit of cloud cover here. 69 going on for oakland, san jose. Its 68 71, maybe for a concord and 74 up to santa rosa. But most of the bays you can see all colored in green or dark green that next couple of days. What to get new colors ation for that map because by monday getting up to about 81 70, as i mentioned, some lower 90s coming our way in end of this week. So if you kind of miss summer hits coming back to say hi bay area weather is just fascinating. Just a year. You know . Typically thing its going to be chilly. But actually weve got some sunshine, not that, too. And this afford we had today was also driven by different type of moisture son aaron. Not our typical advection fog. We have little rain. So we had that radiation fog mixing in with that, too. Its a thing at the end to lose to the fog. But, you know, same thing. All right. Thank you so much, dave. Okay. Continue to remember the life and legacy of senator Dianne Feinstein, the longest serving female senator in history, died thursday at the age of 90 flags were flown at halfstaff outside San Francisco city hall yesterday. Feinstein served for almost 20 years. Kron fours dan thorn reports on how colleagues on capitol hill are remembering missus, feinstein. Senator Dianne Feinstein fulfilling her duty as a Public Servant in till the end casting what would be her final vote on the senate floor just hours before her death, a black cloth and white roses sat up on Feinsteins Senate desk on friday. Her colleagues honoring her as a trailblazer. It is with profound. Set that we bid farewell. It is remarkable from the ban on assault weapons to protection of lake tahoe. Despite feinsteins work in washington, the former mayors influence in San Francisco never faded. She was really a star and i consider her to be one of the best mayors in the history of the city feinsteins successor, art ag knows a progressive leader to her moderate approach says politics aside, feinstein always met the challenge. Dianne feinstein showed the country what her determination means even when it came to her on passing. And that was kron fours. Dan thorn reporting for us this morning. Franciscos mayor feinstein was also an ally in the rights movement. She supported the search for answers when the aids epidemic ravaged the city and shes credited with saving the citys cable cars by securing a Million Dollars in funding. Mayor london breed spoke about feinsteins achievements just yesterday. Leading us through tragedy during a dark time focusing on the important things that matter to communities that matter to our city pushing policies and legislation and bringing excitement and joy. Well, the mayor says details for services for the late senator will be announced after she hears from feinsteins family. And the sudden death of senator feinstein is raising the question who will replace her in the u. S. Senate. Its now up to Governor Newsom to appoint someone to finish feinsteins term. The governor has committed to choosing a black woman, but he also said it would not be for Anyone Running for feinsteins seat currently as kron fours. Dan kerman tells us thats created a political minefield for the governor. Really nice to think that would be the smart political move. But it does transform the race immediately because its much different when youre the incumbent of fundraising becomes more more available. The fact that are on the ballot. Listen as the United States senator makes a difference in how people are reading the ballot. Kron. 4 political analyst michael yaki says one option to avoid the political minefield may be to appoint feinstein starter. Catherine. An attorney and former San Francisco judge. Its out of the box, but its not really that out of the box and certainly not unprecedented terms of the way that you see appointments in the past and others country been handled. Family members tend drop a little bit less fire. Its unknown when the governor will make his decision. Dan kerman kron, 4 news. Well, many in the bay area continue to remember of the late sen including former mayor willie brown kron 4 Charles Clifford has more on that. I am obviously. Brown recalled the time of the 1960s when feinstein who was then known as diane burman, showed up to a rally to protest discriminatory housing policies in San Francisco and who showed and so less of it. This woman pushing of this white woman pushing a buggy with a kid it was today burma at that and are doing it looking forward. Mayor brown says he hopes that governor gavin newsom will make good on his promise to appoint a black woman to replace feinstein in the senate, although he appointed the latino that a proceeded to say if they have the opportunity he would appoint a black keep that commitment. It. Coming up on the kron 4 morning news, ill be joined by bay area auther who is sharing the importance of representation in Childrens Book. So youre going stay with us. On that. Im not anything except that we need to take time to honor the legacy. Ally of senator feinstein. Thats all i have to theyll be time to talk about other things about politics and policies. But right now you know what i this earlier. You know to do . Facials journalists, people who you know, in the midst all of these crimes is this is a hard life that we live. And and so we have to take time to be human and not forget the human aspect what is taking place amongst each other. And we do apologize for that. That was a congresswoman, barbara lee are on and around the bust of senator feinstein on the second floor. People also left flowers at feinsteins San Francisco home. All right. Now coming up on the kron, 4 morning news, be joined by a bay area author who is sharing the importance of representation in Childrens Books. You dont want to miss this. Stay with us. Is my favorite color the school . Anyway, for forecast for today. Lot of cloud cover, but temperatures a bit subdued. Theyre going to snap back, though, towards the end of this week. Still looking out the corner of her eye for a little isolated little Thunder Showers, a possibility in some offshore winds popping here this week as well. Morning news continues. All right, taking a live look now at the bay bridge. Traffic looking pretty nice at this hour. 9. 13 this saturday morning. But they are driving under gray skies out. There is looking pretty cold out there day. Yeah, little flavor of a lot of this. What weve got going on here. Good morning, stephanie. Good morning, everybody. We did have some showers going on. Predawn do want to remind you of a little quick we had last hour. This is still less than an hour ago. Theres the dot about there south of eureka fourpointseven shaker. This was pretty deep. Those 16. 3 kilometers in depth. A 26 was the time on that. And this is again near ferndale. This has been reviewed by seismologists. We dont have much the way of any reports of damage or anything like that. But just to give you where this again, just south of eureka, a 4. 7 on the coast, there. As we take a look at our picture. Always all cloud up right now. Want to show you san jose state are are low in the back and the back yard here and its providing some lyft which gives us a little isolated little chance of a thunder shower today and also in the east bay in the north bay and maybe a stray shower or 2, not a lot of moisture. Its working with from our perspective. You do see it up there around tahoe and that is in the form of snow and rain going on today. Tomorrow. 58 for santa rosa at this hour. Lot of 60s off to the east bay east bay store shoreline. Still chilly upper 50s 61. Meanwhile, 4 san jose going back to future cast for we do have again that chance with daytime heating to pop up those Thunder Showers. But the lion share of all the action, its happening up in tahoe and again, yes, early for this. But some snows thrown into the mixture with rain. That will be the case today. Tonight and even a little bit on sunday morning by sunday. However, its cleared out from our perspective. So once we take care of the morning fog and some of the morning clouds will go back to mostly sunny on your sunday and bump those highs up a little bit more so than today. But some last minute rain showers up in the mountains for sunday afternoon this weekend. Weve got considerable clouds going on for your saturday tomorrow well turn over to mostly sunny and breezy for early in the week. Sunny and mild 70s for the bay 80s for the inland spots. And we bump that to some lower 90s. I cast winter say are some are saying equal time because were getting a little flavor of some winter today. Our onshore winds. Well, one place, however, watch the very end of this into sunday right here. It spills and through napa county and Solano County, a pop of offshore winds. We see this replay again by the middle of the week. But the good news is for shortlived second to last for long. So we should shouldnt pose any problems for us. But we always liked right. Watch to see if were getting those offshore winds. Central valley looks like its going to a lot more of that, though. Alright, for today. 65 San Francisco variable clouds mild to 69 for oakland in 68 for san jose on the big board still colored pretty much green. Now bellas have been retired from now. Well bring them back tomorrow. 69, for got 71. Meanwhile, for concord for a high today, next couple of days. 77 for sunday and monday at 81 again, setting the stage for some 80s into next week. Stephanies getting yourself into some nice Light Reading here, stephanie. Yeah. Did you talk about retiring the color yellow . Were talking all about the color red. A new Childrens Book is coming out about the power of representation. How this book got red is a story about a red panda who decides to write her own story when she cant find any panda books that include animals that look like her. Joining us live now to talk about this is bay area, taiwanese american auther margaret shoe, grainy good morning to you. Good morning. And thank you so much for joining us. He drove all the way from us today. Thank you for having course. So, you know, tell us a bit about this story. Its relay double to many people. But what also inspired you to write it . Well, you know, i grew up and the 70s and 80s when there wasnt much asian representation. And as at the time as a kid, i wasnt really thinking about it. And i wasnt pondering. You know, the representation in books when i was little, there was a little bit of unease about, you know, where did agents fit in kind of how i thought . And over the years, ive realized that this lack of representation has affected me and my sense belonging my self worth and kindralso, you know how i related to my family. I see. And so how does u incorporate some of those ideas into your new book . Right . I originally started this book because i wanted to write about a red panda. I love love the animal. Theres and theyre not that common occurs in picture books but once i got researching, i realize that red pandas that they were actually given the name panda first. But yet theyre still called. Plus panda. And also there are also endangered, but they dont have the visibility of a giant panda. And so that got me thinking that this was a good way to show why representation is important. And so. Thats kind of how went. And how would you say that representation has been in general in the world of Childrens Books. I mean, did you see a lot of, you know, Asian American faces are just diversity in Childrens Books. When you yourself are growing up and did that inspire you to then . You know, is try to incorporate a bit more of that in your own writing when i was growing up, i didnt really see much representation and actually one of the books that i remember the most going up because it was about Chinese People was the 5 chinese brothers. I remember that law. I do. And i you know, as a kid, i really enjoyed the you know, its about 5 brothers who have superhero powers and they use them save each but, you know, the representation in that was problematic. All same. They had yellow skin. They had kids. And even though it was a book that was set in like the olden days. You know, that was one of the only types of asian representation in a picture about that. I saw right. And so if you think about that from the perspective of a kid growing up that sense that, you know, Chinese People are kind of and up. So that kind of influence me now has, as ive become a writer, i realized. Theres movement that was started. We need diverse books and its movement to diversify the childrens publishing industry. So i kind of like learned a lot from that movement and and kind of digging deep into my own childhood memories. 2 kind of it show some asian representation. Yes, and im sure your children have had a chance to get a preview of this book already because its not officially out yet. It will be soon. Whats their reaction been to to the to the writing . My youngest actually this is her favorite book. All everything written. Yes, right. All and did love this one, too, but this is her favorite she just she just really like message and actually had a really nice conversation the other day about representation and the longing. It was just it was just good to have that conversation with her see where shes at and. And kind of make her wear. And its so nice that we are starting to have more of these discussions with, you know, children the next generation that and theyre seeing themselves represented in the media what do you think about representation in . I suppose, entertainment, the world of media overall in general, we are starting to see a little bit more, for example, at the academy of war awards. But i mean, do you think thats enough . I think that weve come a long way in terms of representation in but i think thats, you know, theres still a long way to go. Its awesome. I remember when crazy rich asians came out is so awesome. Agent full asian cast of but, you know, there are also people werent satisfied because those characters, the super rich asians didnt represent and theres so many different diverse categories. Groups of one instance isnt going to represent everyone. So i just think that just there just needs to be a lot more. A lot of different kinds. To represent everyone. And tell us also about some of your other work that you with brought with you today as well. You have them on the table right here. Yeah. So this is my first bucket. As max million bonus, its about a monster born into a villainous to it is not going and that was inspired by the despicable and this. This one far away. Sun starting to come through those clouds a day. What else should we know . Thats pretty good there. Good morning, stephanie. Good morning, everybody. As you can see, some variable clouds working their magic already the golden gate, although many are, is the bay still looking quite a bit of cloud cover tahoe . You ask. We have a mixture of rain and snow going on. Had some of that going to have a little bit more tonight tomorrow morning. So well keep that on for sunday a little bit. But clearing out as we get into monday tuesday, temperatures start to warm. So we have a little flavor winner and kind of a little winter feel here in the bay area. Least a mild winter day. And then going to get into really some. Some are coming back in the 70 forecast, heres Half Moon Bay and still cloud cover and all that stuff. I know its going to one of those times today because he too much sun at the coast today. We have all the cloud cover a lot that we have to contend with. A low in our backyards providing all of that in the lift to for an isolated little shower. Thunder shower north or east bay. Again, we say isolated, isolated and also a sprinkle to yet heating. And that just keeps up the atmosphere to do things warm that air lift it. Meanwhile, the tropics, heres the u. S. We have to things to look at. But only bought another name during a moving to the north. So not to be a threat to the u. S. Here, but it is still kneedeep in Hurricane Season still and october as we take a look at what goes on in the next few hours a few days, rather, another trough comes by here on tuesday. Wednesday, point that out because all dorin packed with those arrival will bring us an onshore wind. Maybe some scattered clouds, blah, blah, blah. Its those offshore winds on the backside of it like were going to get from this system as well. So expect a little pop of offshore winds sunday night, maybe into monday and then for the middle of the week, a little bit of offshore pop when to to look out for a very short lives. So wont probably pose any fire concerns. We always try try to watch out for that this time of year, particularly 66 San Francisco in the 4 zone forecast. A lot of 60s towards the coast. We do about 66 off towards burlingame foster city. 69 68 palo alto and in the south bay. Weve got the mid to upper 60s kind i guess, falllike weather more. Okay. Midsixties east bay shoreline, tri valley, upper 60s at that. Were looking for 71 for walnut creek and concord. Meanwhile, 64 off the berkeley and richmond, 68 for oakland at 69. 67 going on for stanley and row with the constant onshore winds at 64 for we pretty much expect that and on the carquinez strait, most readings in the upper 60s at that. 69, meanwhile, for fairfield will do about 66 for napa and sonoma. 69. But there are some token 70s on the board here. Some lower 70s at that concentrated here. Moran and up through sonoma county. But make no mistake about it, the coast will be quite chilly. We have a variety forecast, as i mentioned, a little flavor of winter as we get up in tahoe that will start things off for this weekend. But look at the right hand side of your screen. Lower 90s thursday into friday, giving you a flavor of summer coming back again. Meanwhile in the bay will see a lot of 70s at work here. 80s also covering us for wednesday and thursday into friday and up the coast numbers there a bit on the cooler side. Dont think quite make 80 on wednesday, but nice dry and that front anyway. So what will be watching over the next week . Here will be some offshore wind pops working their magic. That will be by the middle of the weekend. A little pop on sunday night. Not for long lasting Solano County napa. Thats where youre really going to feel it in for this afternoon. Thing to watch out for is a little shower or thundershower isolated in nature. Yes, thunder shower with all of that as well. Were going to be kinetic in the studio. Yes, we will.
