That man was hospitalized with nonlifethreatening injuries and was later released hours later. He was identified cyrus santos. It was arrested for felony assault on a police officer. It was later determined that his fire on was actually a bb gun designed to look like a real semiautomatic handgun. The officer who shot him is now on administrative leave. Workers biggest demands they want better pay and a solution to the Staffing Shortage that they see theyre facing. The last statement that we received from kaiser. Were putting it up on your screen reading, quote, the Coalition Unions are position to strike in october. However, for the last 26 years of our historic Labor Management partnership, we have reached agreements with the coalition every time with no strikes. They go on to say that its top priority is caring for its members and patients and that it does have a plan in place, should this strike actually occur and they want to continue to provide High Quality Health Care for those patients that they have. But they also say that they remain bargaining in good faith.
