In the east bay, a 16 yearold boy from san pablo has died after his car was hit by a big rig in oakland. Chp says they found the teenage driver on the calderon dead outside of his car. Officers dont know whether the teenager was inside the car when it was hit by the big rig. It happened on black friday officers first got reports of the shooting around 6 oclock last night at the Arden Fair Mall. 2 people were shot one of them died at the mall, another died at the hospital about an hour later. The victims were just 1719 years old the shooter is still at large this morning. But Sacramento Police believe the shooter does not pose a further threat. The states total is nearing 1. 2 million cases with more than 19,000 people who have died from the virus state Health Officials say that the rate of positive tests of also risen to more than 6 this week thats roughly double what it was just a month ago. A nursing home in Santa Cruz County is reporting more than 80 covid19 cases among residents and staff. Exactly and a lot of things that you you dont see when you are weighing yourself on the scale you know were chasing that a lucid number on the scale right and 5 counts seem like a whole lot but a lot happens inside that you dont see you know Blood Pressure comes down and you get your blood vessels are are so you know give yourself a break in and and considered 5 counts an emotional you feel so much better as well you certainly have more bounce your step and you youre looking at your day with the with a better one thing that you are are recommending is not to go on a diet explain that. Right i always say diets that put you in this negative mode of diet diet or what actually make you fat because you deprive yourself and then you feet you know you see over feature south after that the after effect of that so i say that 3 things that diets lead to in that deprivation pride in yourself of all your Favorite Foods and then defeat in you feel really bad because a lot of those the deprivations or unreasonable right and then you end up in depression and thats that cycles around you end up in this Emotional Eating cycle that you just cant get out there. And what youre not the dieting. What youre recommending instead is basically change your lifestyle. Right changing your lifestyle and and take little steps a lot of people go on these diets because they feel like they can get results and red very rapidly, yes and those are the ones that gain weight back very rapidly and 70 came up with this idea just deprive myself all week and then she on the weekend all binge on the weekends right yeah sheeting which is a negative word. But how many people want to cheat with broccoli on the that very sprouts yeah, you know karen one thing the dieters do also that that can negatively impact them as they say ok well all start on monday. Ill start my and i remember so so vividly my mom and some of her friends would talk about the fact that mondays coming well start our diet then. Exactly you cant you you set as a goal of when youre going to start right, but you cant wait to get off so its just again that vicious cycle. So if you are following a healthy plan every day and and not in this mindset of dieting its a lot more healthier. Yeah and the other side of that is working out and a lot of times what some people will do myself included is well i really binged on thanksgiving. So im going to go an extra mile or 2 today to make up for it and as in essence, youre punishing yourself. You are in so thats negative. Yeah and exercising should be a positive experience and reinforcing all those positive feelings of more energy and less depressed theyll a lot its a mood enhancer so you want to exercise and you dont want it to be considered a punishment also were looking at the screen there and says dont beat yourself up if kind of lapse on your on your meal plan. Right and a lot of people do that they say oh i was really bad another negative. Focus the president and being in the present whatever happened before that is over and just move on from that if you if he kind always start focusing on what you did before youre always trying to play catchup. You know its like starting a race and being starting one mile behind everybody else and always having to catch up so you dont want to do that no exactly and the last thing that you mentioned is to acknowledge or accomplishments which is what you did at the beginning of the segment when you when youre talking about the vi pounds. Yeah well on what you accomplished and every day no matter how small. Of of change are making its significant in focus on that focus on the things that you like about yourself and and thats always going to end up with a very happier, her son and better results and a nice positive outlook. Focus the president and being in the present whatever happened before that is over and just move on from that if you if he kind always start focusing on what you did before youre always trying to play catchup.
