And its a small part of lake county 24 customers are impacted. Restoration is expected around 7 oclock on wednesday night. Now heres a look at the current pg any Public Safety power shutoff check it out of your screen. The last time pgd conducted shut off some customers were without power for several days and it led to some costly damage for businesses we spoke to a pg e spokesperson about just how the utility bows to prevent a similar event take a listen. We definitely heard a lot of feedback from the shut offs in october november and we are making those corrections this time around were doing a lot weve been talking with our City Partners our county partners or other stakeholders a lot over the last year and we our goal is to impact one 3rd fewer customers this year than last year so definitely making these yes, yes events smaller in terms of impacting fewer customers and we also want to make the event shorter our goal is to make the events much shorter than last year. Now lets move on to those 3 major wildfires that are burning here in the bay area fire crews are making significant progress. We have the lnu lightning complex fire in the north bay thats currently 91 contained more than 375,000 acres have burned there. The scu complex thats burning in the east and south bay. Its up to 94 containment with nearly 397,000 acres burned and then we have the czu lightning complex fires in san mateo and santa cruz counties or up to 80 containment with more than 86,000 acres burned and the what would fire at Point Reyes National seashore in marin county is now 95 contained that fire has burned more than 4800 acres. The air quality in vegas is currently extremely unhealthy for sensitive groups. This morning. We have video of a sideshow that led to a deadly shooting in San Francisco, one man was killed and 2 others were sent to the hospital with life threatening injuries. Traffic completely stop just gridlock their calls by that sideshow. The shooting happened early yesterday morning just after midnight near mission in persia streets. The flying bullets had bystanders ducking for cover one man who did want to show its face describes the chaos. Carson doing burnouts is a trend taking turns coming inside of eventually by im is into it. You get like 20 shots or everybody took off their you know is im not gonna lie. This is my first side show to be very close to north this its very scary. Well, at least one weapon was found on the streets an arrest has not been made so far were still waiting for the medical examiner to release the identity of the man who was killed. Well to the east bay now a man has been arrested in a deadly shooting in livermore deputies say that Gregory Stevens he confessed to shooting and killing his girlfriend. Kelly henry. Up next on the kron 4 morning news, a south bay city is creating more inclusive relief measures after a covid19 study on immigrants well explain coming up after the break. Before we have to break want to take a little trip outside sure why not route to the embarcadero very cloudy and market there are right now in San Francisco, its another spare the air day john says really cool it down a little bit not a whole lot will have your forecast highs coming up in just a bit. Its going to be hot once again today but how hot jon has all the there hey, rob and not as hot but still hot thats the way were talking about today. And plus the winds which is also a big concern. For your tuesday today. You look outside at sfo does show. We got some cloud cover that is pushed overhead that cloud cover actually a sign of a nice cool ocean breeze which pushed into the bay at least last night cooling us off a little bit also helping to clear out air quality for bayside in coastal areas, moderate air quality start the morning that is a lot better than yesterday while our inland areas are still puerto very pour to kick off this tuesday. Now the biggest concern on top of those very hot temperatures today is our strong winds. We have this low pressure area dipping into the central rockies can actually being bringing snow to colorado after their triple digit temperatures just a couple of days ago. Its not going to bring snow to us but what it is going to do is result in some very windy conditions winds picking up out of the northeast this morning already with sonoma 30 Miles Per Hour sustained winds right now calistoga Vacaville Fairfield also very breezy breezy winds spreading a little closer to the coast as well as further down into the east bay you pair this with very low humidity and those hot temperatures. Thats where we get the heightened fire danger east bay for example red flag warnings in her upper elevations, where temperatures will be above 100 degrees 30 to 45 mile per hour winds that is not a good recipe for high fire danger. So if you are heading outside today be very fire aware, 25 to 40 Miles Per Hour winds all across the llano county meaning the whole county is lit up red flag warnings and for the north bay portions of marin sonoma and napa counties also affected these red flag warnings today temperatures today, still hot for San Francisco, upper 80s and mission and financial districts 70s closer to the coast itself while 70s in pacifica down through al gore not a Half Moon Bay 84 today. 80s through brisbane in san bruno well Millbrae BurlingameMountain View on the 90s today, south bay temperatures fall out of the triple digits, nice little change free a san jose still hot at 95. But it sure beats the triple digits. You have the past few days. Double at 99. Pleasanton livermore a 100 degrees. Still well above a 100 and walnut creek in concord while oakland at still a hot 94 today, north bay temperatures triple digits for sonoma, the lay help in a chevrolet tahoe. I twice fairfield this but i had to say, but yes hot for much of the north bay centerville at 99 degrees today tomorrows temperatures officially ending this heat wave, not to say it will be hot but highs in the low 90s that our warmest and we will take that easily. Thursday friday also looking a little cooler with highs at or warmest inland. Only in the upper 80s. Robin. Thank you sir and lets check in on the traffic, some of you have to get back to work after aaving a nice little break a little threeday holiday this weekend. All right we have more lets head over to a foggy Golden Gate Bridge. It look the the last time i checked it so looks like the fog is rolling in and i think the last time you took a peek we could actually see the towers and now we can so heads up for that fog here across the span into and out of San Francisco and no problems to the Richmond Sandra fell bridge its in fantastic shape get on out there and use it its less than 15 minutes to make it into the north bay. This morning were only in the low 60s see actually do get a cool breeze coming in your window right now 80s near the coastline 90s right along the bay and were still in the triple digits for some of our inland areas the lazio any out conquered in livermore among those spots also red flag warnings in some of these areas because not just hot but also very dry and very windy today, San Francisco still holds on to 88 degrees very hot oakland at 94, san jose falls to 95, which is better than yesterdays triple digits for sure.
