Just ripped through here behind me is one of those homes that was impacted by the flames you can see whats left is just the rubble and you know madgen coming home to this no home at all and just having to deal in rebuild from this is just so traumatic, its something you know the north bay has been through and now they have to go through it again because of the ellen new lightning complex over a 1000 structures, including homes like this one have been destroyed all across the law known at a lake in sonoma counties. This area and many others are still under a mandatory Evacuation Order however officials have started lifting and let that order just for the day to let families visit their properties to assess the damage all the while cal fire has gained containment, its now up to 35 contained as robin said earlier, but its grown to just under 370,000 acres now we caught up with a family who is having to deal with rebuilding it theyre going to have to do it at some but a woman told us exactly what happened she said she only had minutes to grab as much as she could. So she could get out safely. All he had was my little to door infiniti and i had 2 german shepherds and 2 cats to get in there so i literally got like 2 boxes of momentos in my my when file thats as Important Documents and Everything Else was lost or all of our memories. All of our pictures on the walls and everything is gone. Gosh, i cant even imagine how that feels but at least she got out safely. Your life is the most important thing now cal fire theyre continuing to put out hot spots. Holden enforced fire lines all to protect nearby communities and the 30,000 structures that are still threatened by the fires burning this complex includes hennessy fire in napa and solano counties fire. Which takes up about 84 just ahead the fire takes up 84 of the total acres, the walbridge fire is also burning primarily in Sonoma County it has been deadly as we know and its injured 4 people but most of the people got out to safety now theres have been deal with the aftermath now today, hopefully we can catch up with cal fire suit. Their plan of attack is see if they and. Expect weather events to occur but for now, im live in vacaville Sarah Stinson back to you. All right sara thanks a lot for that live report problem. Well in sonoma, not everyone is allowed back home. Theyre still plenty of hausers out there on the roadways. This is what it looks like a driving along mill creek road near hillsborough checking out homes have been destroyed has roots are just everywhere utility lines are down and burned trees have fallen or theyre ready to come down. Pg e crews have moved damaged equipment off the roadways and inspectors are out there as well checking out those charge trees. Pre inspectors are basically looking at the spire damage trees that are adjacent to pg e facilities to determine if they need to be removed. Or trim theres a lot of damage to this area. There was structures are impacting this area and a lot of the infrastructure was destroyed in this area. And some hazardous trees have already been taken down and cut up, but a lot more will need to be done before its actually safe to allow those residents to return home. And fire officials in Santa Cruz County giving an update on the czu fire, lets go ahead listen in 540 acres and containment has increased to 26 to 6 containment. There are still 13,300 structures that are threatened by the fire. And we can confirm this morning that 799 structures have been destroyed of those 799 11 of them are in San Mateo County and 788 are in Santa Cruz County. Within the 554 of the total number are confirmed to be Single Family residence. We do have over 2000 firefighters that remain on scene and that number continues every day. We stand right now at 2019 firefighters assigned to the incident without a pass it over the team for an Operational Update from i am to 3 Operations Section chief mark from. Good morning. So yesterday we had a really good productive day a couple minor setbacks last night nothing of super winds are holding. The weather helping mitigate. And we believe that well be moving forward some really good work today with her plans for the day. Up on top of the fire the north zone fires holding really well in division of gulf and killer was able to a flight late yesterday afternoon get a good look at the entire fire. Up in the town of colonie a lot of challenges up there. A lot of the fire we countries are beginning to fall had a structure destroyed. Yesterday from a falling tree. That was far weekend and theres a lot of fire we countries and there were in there assessing that developing a strategy on how were going to address that issue. This throughout the fire but but we have a significant amount in that particular area that were concerned with fire was was very active in that area burning down to our control lines which is by design what we want to do with the that we had yesterday thats where the big push was. But it did what it did to move a little bit more rapidly than weve been seeing at the past few days thats fine. I just brings it down to the control and sooner we have resources there are ready to deal with that issue so yesterday they were doing with that today its going another a big day of of dealing with that before we have a wind shift which will push that that advancing of fire front. Moving down the coast again were getting more lines put in all the way down to the community of of davenport. The weve got feel that so thats quite safe of some good lines around that we do have fire established in citizen to canyon. Just a bit south of that area. Thats something that is a target that is a priority for us today, were going to be putting a lot of resources in there weve had some limited resources in there. Its a very steep canyon, a lot of vegetation in there. We have some challenges to be able to get aircraft in there because there are power lines that run through there and the aircraft or power lines still we really cant fly a lot in there. So the Ground Troops are going to have to really good dig deep get in there and take your business and were going to be a hammer that pretty darned hard today. Along the south where control and are holding we to mop up phase there. There is some smokes a popup that their deep interior and some of the drainage is that we just really have a hard time accessing and theyre just going to work or stretching that those burn out. Burn up to our control lines in a good or a focus on him and to engage when it is safe and appropriate to do so moving up the the 9 corridor. Felton commute fields looking really good with a burnout operation a couple days ago doing very well. The last bits of it were running out to some of the smoke thats visible from the Scotts Valley area. A lot of that thats thats what theyre looking at in in peace and parties that and then also like i mentioned before some of the deeper drainages thats where the smoke there scene is probably coming from from that community so we feel a lot better about the protection of the community and moving forward there. Towards been brookdale we end up little setback yesterday were about a 30 acre whats called slop over its a its a move to fire thats across the line and a lot of that was due to the fact that again the there hasnt been fire history here for such a long time. The matter thats on the uk matter thats on the 4th floor. Is very thick. We called a failure that term its very thick material and we put our control lines in we scraped those lines down to bare metal soiled or bare soil that that will burn and when youre dealing with a this kind of environment you really have to have those lines dug very deep toasted becomes a trench at some points because so thick and we have to be very cognizant and very detail oriented on that because. Sometimes in this case is what we believe happened is that fire was able to creep slowly within that and then pop up on the other side of our lives so again. Its that has been a challenge because the topography and the fuels in it with all the homes here is yet another challenge for us. In werent constructed airlines is this this take a matter thats on the 4 that we have to cut through. So that we dont have another one of those who we have we with more people there increasing or patrol those lines. So that we can detect that even sooner. But that doesnt foresee something that were just going to be dealing with the and throughout the rest of this event. The rest of the airline is continue to be put in play. Through the wrist. The north part of the fire all the way up the north of boulder creek. In tying into division the queue up there. The bonny doon area continue a lot of work to be done a lot of work has been done a lot of homes in their working around a lot of those homes its a lot of just tedious work. Been lot of question about the the National Guard and the National Guard that weve got them here a couple days ago. So we are plan is were going to be employing them in that area and its because of the sheer numbers that theyre bringing. This is actually a really good mission for them because again their training is of a basic standard. And thats great because that frees up are more advanced to hand crews to attack the other areas like we said the incident sent a canyon and then also up in some of these lines here. And well put them to work within the can do the job they do best in what we call greeting in making sure we go. Through a very thorough process to that community and make sure everythings mopped up we have good line around were the homes and that sort of thing in the opener that safe. Again a road crews are clearing the roadways. So that our inspectors can get into the more inspections. The Utility Companies can get in to do their work to the destruction of those communities. And how would you 36 quarter a lot of work being done been done there are a lot of work to be done its its a its a mess lot of down trees and with the power lines and poles and so forth so thats thats a number of days worth of work just to that that opened up there and theyre working really hard working with caltrans and and other resources to open that up. Our we do still have the 6 waterdropping aircraft we anticipate that in the coming days we should see a few more of those coming in thats going to be a big help to us. A Mother Nature is she cooperate we can get more flight time past few days weve had a thick green there. It has burned off to late. Our aircraft is an issue before cannot work in this type of conditions safely. So weve had to wait until that clears up as soon as it clears up on any part of the fire were flying those missions and those crews are doing a fantastic job when theyre up to fly when i was doing my reconnaissance flight yesterday. All aircraft are up and then go in and they were they were hammered. There just to us turn constantly getting to their deep source getting their water bringing it back dumping on on the targets. So as soon as we get more clear were going to max out the hours we can on the aircraft were going to be dumping hundreds of 1000 gallons on that to support the mission inn in the mission of the in the helping the crews on the ground. Too. Get another day closer to completing this mission, thank you. Up next from the Santa Cruz CountySheriffs Office is chief deputy chris clark. Adorning so some good news obviously last night and yesterday in getting folks home and the unincorporated areas Scotts Valley so we hope to continue that good news as these days go on and so i would encourage at Pay Attention obviously the cal fires website to our social media our Facebook Page for continued updates with regards. To re population and then also well be discussing at press conferences. You know again good news on another front we did get any further citations or arrests last night i will talk about the device we found. Yesterday here in just a moment, but no arrests or citations which is a which is a good thing another good thing is for the folks that went on last night we had no reports of burglaries so they came back to homes had not been broken into which is i mean who would want to want to come back to that and so. So was good in the sense that nobody that didnt happen. We have 56 people thought that 6 officers and deputies run around last night well have another 56 today with 21 of our folks 15 from in county. And in 20 mutually in terms of calls for service. We had 6 suspicious people calls that we went out to. And our missing persons still stands at one. So again we cleared up to 3 people we were looking for that we posted on our on our social media. And so we developed one new one yesterday will be a our detectives we actively looking for that person in terms of device that we found yesterday i spoke about that last night. Bomb team went out there they made they made that situation safe in our detectives are continuing continuing to investigate so theres going to be theres likely going to be more to come but obviously were heavily involved in in that. And then in terms re published again i distressed year to just Pay Attention to to cal fire. Their website their social media and then our social media we want to get people home is absolutely fast as possible and were going to continue to do that and they obviously thats thats our mission in combination with the security checks that were doing so people dont come home to to missing stuff so anyway. Thats all i have thank you. An extra San Mateo CountySheriffs Office is lieutenant vince and good morning, im we are have good news similar to Santa Cruz County. We did our saturation patrols overnight. And had no reported burglaries in our areas. And we did have a few calls for Service Force appears suspicious vehicles that is driving slow in the area but nothing panned out one of our volunteer crews that were volunteer sheriffs personnel called one in and then a couple residents call those in and no contacts are made with those vehicles. We are happy to report everything has been good safe and we are happy that the residents are getting back to their areas. We want to again reiterate the fact that if you can please do not travel in these areas of san gregorio the honda in pescadero years. If youre not a resident dont travel through there we want to get everybody into our residents. Our resident areas and we want to keep them safe and continue the efforts of getting everybody back. So please stay away and lastly we want to continue. In look at cal fires websites for and then our San Mateo CountySheriffs Office web sites, social media platforms as well thats all i thank you. Speaking next to me half of all the unified incident command agencies is Cal Fire Incident Management Team 3 i see billy c. A good morning obviously year here and a lot of good news about the a firefight on the ground. Theres still a lot of air is after were aggressively or did our control lines put in place. Well i want to remind everyone this little multiphase situation to mitigate this incident. We have a lot of roadways that help damage to it. Thick tough. Start to burn out underneath some of these roadways and collapse are always so were be working with the polk county deal sees tell transit county roads to identify a problem areas, ah to make them safe for people to travel and obviously a lot of the damage trees out there. Were certainly come down. Were going to have to start removing trees, the or unsafe. We are potentially take out additional power lines across roadways or in danger structures. So like i said its multiphase when we start pushing forward with the entire mitigation process of this incident and its going to take a while. I mean everyone to be patient. Were working diligently with both county youll seas. Although all caltrans and county roads will be working with the private Timber Companies to identify and secure all those safety hazard out there, thank you. Our final speaker this morning sarah to Santa Cruz Unit chief in lurking. Good morning. Progress we continue to make progress each day. As i stated you know where so that a fire fight going on that trying to get control lines and to fully contain this fire and then make it safe for residents to get back and but i want to emphasize the Recovery Process has already started. Its a Management Team has been working in coordination with our Emergency Operation centers. To give them information starting that Recovery Process of those cscs are working information so that when this is over they can get in there and that make those even safer for those who have had significant damage where theres been damage to their infrastructure roadways and such we requested ia Emergency Response team to the incident. This fire has impacted our watershed pretty significantly and ill be recommendations forth on how to mitigate those hazards as we move forward. So as i said its not too early to start that recovery phase weve been working on it for about a week now so i just want to re emphasize to the public that well try to make the environment is safe as possible for you. But on a on a different note, i just want to remind everybody that were just moving into or peak fire season here in san mateo santa cruz. And we have an 82,000 acre fire that were going to be continuing with through that for those that have not done your Defensible Space. Its not too late to start you see because were doing it so you dont spark a new fire. So if you can get out there protect your homes and start working at toward said that defense myspace. For those that are still out there it is still has or situation. There are a lot of trees that are still weak and as we keep in reiterating their root systems are inundated. They have burned out underneath roadways kovar said been damaged bridges have been damaged in the area so its going to take a little while to get that infrastructure and back to normal so please be patient with us as we work with that. The county said to secure that infrastructure. Thank you. All right, were happy to answer any questions you might have. Yeah so quick and youve been watching the update from cal fire on the czu lightning complex fire in patients who didnt lay just a couple of highlights. They keep talking about the fact that this has been a it was a good productive day yesterday. Theyre expecting more of the same today and the weather has been a huge help and today will be focusing on not only a making containment lines but also digging trenches using the National Guard to help build up some of those containment lines as well. Yeah they brought the containment number up to 26 overnight as they continue to make progress. They lost about 800 structures of the majority of those structures were homes 554 homes were lost. But they also said dont burglaries no arrest and no new citations have been given of course that was a big problem when the fire startedtheyre just continuing to ask folks for patients, its going to be a messy cleanup. They said and theyre asking people to not return welcome back to kron 4 morning news, good morning, everybody happy tgi out this is a live shot coming in from the Golden Gate Bridge and lots of fog you can see kind of socked in here with a a little bit that onshore breeze in kind of sometimes see that fog will drop its coming on in from the onshore winds left over this is what it looks like on the current winds basically calm over most of the real estate for now but Single Digits elsewhere going on her little bit about going on what the fog here now we had good coverage going on this morning. We like that marine layer thats in place. But its relatively thin so a mix out fairly quickly today. Its all the coverage in the south bay for this morning. But tomorrow actually the progress wont be as great. It will be missing a lot of coverage here in particular the Santa Cruz Mountains some may think that those aircrafts will up a little quicker in the day tomorrow because the fog will be quite as aggressive as it is today forecast today calls for 66 San Francisco open 7384 meanwhile, san jose kind of hazy sunshine. Heres what the temperatures look like midnineties reaching to that in the far east bay, mostly 80s up in the north bay except Solano County and down south were looking at about 84 san jose was still some Green Holding on to the peninsula but heat spike is expected as we get into early next week that will be coming up a little late motorcycle riders love the open road. And geico loves helping riders get to where theyre going, so to help even more, geico is giving new and current customers a fifteen percent credit on their motorcycle policies with the geico giveback. And because were committed for the long haul, the credit lasts your full policy term. The geico giveback. Helping riders focus on the road ahead. Welcome back happening today, more businesses will be allowed to reopen in these pay. Hair salons barber shops and Wine Tastings are allowed to resume outdoors in Alameda County. It is a huge day for Business Owners in the east bay in kron fours reyna harvey is live in alameda with all the details high rain. Good morning personal Care Services are able to open their doors again like the barbershop behind me a lot of Business Owners excited about opening their doors again, but a lot of them have some concerns and its understandably so were going to show you whos opening up their doors, you guys already mentioned barber shops hair salons like to get your skin care routine in also whack seen as well wine tasting by appointment if you like to swim all those little cool outside swimming pools of the open nonmedical massages and libraries are going to also be offering Curbside Pickup in all of these are free to open as long as the open outdoors now we talked about there being some concerns for Business Owners obviously the plus side as Business Owners can resume making money and employing people in the community with the downside is you can offer every service outside and on top of that there are often a so much different elements you have to subject yourself to being outside you know its really cold. And you have to be outdoors also we have fires burning across the bay area. So thats also problematic for the air quality he has to be outdoors for long periods of time so those are some of the concerns you also might remember Alameda County leads the bay area counties in coronavirus cases so if youre going to be participating in any of these activities today. Its mandatory for the county that you continue practicing social distancing and wearing a mask for now reporting here nalaniya reyna harvey kron 4 news all right. Thank you reyna. Well also happening today, some Contra Costa County businesses will be allowed to reopen outdoors theres been a gradual downward trend in cases positivity rates and hospitalizations and thats why the move those businesses include personal Care Services that dont involve close contact with a face like nail salons also massage parlors gyms fitness centers, Hotels Motels and shortterm rentals. Well as firefighters start to gain control of the 3 large wildfires that are burning in the bay area. Evacuees are returning to find whats happened to their homes and businesses. Firefighters acknowledge the scope of the damage is historic but containment of these fires is growing. So according to calfire the scu lightning complex fire in parts of the east and south bay, or 35 we just heard from czu officials at the czu august lightning complex fires in san mateo and santa cruz counties now up to 26 containment and the l a new lightning complex fires in the north bay or 35 contained. And we want to start this morning with a closer look at the czu lightning complex fires burning in san mateo san mateo and santa cruz counties. The map on your screen shows the areas that have burned thus far kron fours will tran live at the Cal Fire Base Camp thats a Scotts Valley. He has the latest for us on the firefight will. Marty robin talked about 26 containment that is up from 24 so there are slowly but surely moving forward with their firefighting efforts Scotts Valley residents for the first time in more than a week theyre waking up in their own homes, they got the authorization late last night to go ahead in return and thats for parts west of highway 17 so not all of Scotts Valley but most of it and that good news to them as far as other communities, i try to press them a lot on that they say at this particular point. They dont want to give out false hope but there are hoping for the felt an area and then the highway 9 corridor, those of the 2 locations. They hope could be repopulated today but again Nothing Specific again Scotts Valley people really didnt know about it for sure until late last line of course they probably popping champagne bottles inside their homes which by the way inside their homes. This year the Sheriffs Department in santa cruz they talked about because they increase patrols in the area marty that the people who did return to Scotts Valley inside their homes. No burglary call so everything was intact as far as their home now the firefighting effort continues of course new acreage to pass along 82,540 acres have burned so far were talking 799 structures destroyed that number does not surprise the authorities because they say its not like new homes are burning as we speak, but instead investigators are now making their way into the burned out areas because its safer now than it was several days ago and theyre doing that every day and theyre going to those neighborhoods and theyre counting. The homes that may have been destroyed several days ago, maybe a week ago, so that number continues to go up. No fatalities and no injuries in the overnight hours. The challenge moving forward because this fire continues to churn through very dry vegetation. Its an area that they say has not burned in a long time so what theyre doing is trying to get ahead of the fire remove all that dry debris dry vegetation on the ground before the fire reaches and they say they have to do that and also try to preserve the integrity of the 4 so its a 2 pronged effort but they are making good headway about that and they are establishing control lines. You might notice that every day the acreage does go up marty robin. But it does not explode so its like 80,081 1082 1000. And thats the hope that it does not get carried away and explode to. A 100,150 1000 so yes, theyre still busy quite satisfied. Back to you thats great to hear thanks a lot. Well. Well along the peninsula families and send the tail are also allowed to return home see cars here filled with evacuees making their way back and so their communities. It was about a week ago that the czu lightning complex fire force many to leave behind their homes and businesses. I was like oh war zone, you know because you can you get out what you can get back in there got family here in the area but you know i cant even imagine for the people who had to rent a hotel for this mastery her. Communities that were spared by the flames are thankful to find their businesses and homes still standing. Also in the north bay as more people are returning home in Solano County emotions. There of course running high. The county Sheriffs Office says roughly 1000 homes in the affected burn area about a 150 of them are safe enough to re allow reentry. Some residents say that they feared that their home was gone only to later learned through a firefighter that wasnt the case. Everything was only all cried remember van and well hear all about that because houses was like wow thats great. We have a letter belief and the county set reentry center. Its at the Mission Church adds where evacuees approved to return home or given passes that will allow them through the sheriffs checkpoints. Well firefighters in Solano County are mopping up as more and more evacuees are also returning home. The hennessy fire just burned through entire neighborhoods in many families are coming back to find their homes in ruins, many of the damage homes are on Pleasant Valley road north of vacaville, one family was only able to save their animals but Everything Else is gone. All he had was my little to door infiniti and i had 2 german shepherds and 2 cats to get in there so i literally got like 2 boxes of momentos my my when file thats as Important Documents and Everything Else was lost or all of our memories. All of our pictures on the walls and everything is gone. The fire also wiped out the familys Farm Business there now among many fire victims that are just trying to figure out what to do next. Well the u. S. Eu lightning complex fires burning in parts of the east bay and south bay are now at nearly 370,000 acres and 35 containment, 28 structures have been destroyed and more than 20,000 are still threatened. Returning home after a wildfire can be really tough and cal fire has these tips on making that transition easier. First of all make sure that your driveway is clear of debris or downed power lines. They also advise that you look up for any potential falling tree limbs also check on to your deck for any hot embers as well as an events outside the home and check the gutters for hunts molding smoldering embers as well before you go inside your home to inspect make sure you dont smell that aroma of natural gas or propane and depending how long you were gone, its likely youll have to throw out spoiled food. Cal fire is also reminding everyone to maintain Defensible Space around your home all year long. And during the earliest days of the cdu czu lightning complex fires a few residents ignored the Evacuation Ordered in order to try and save their homes. Take a look at the cell phone video shows been loma native kyler ruskin and his friends, pumping water to fight the flames in bonny doon ruskin says he and 7 others spent 5 days using whatever equipment they could get their hands on to build a perimeter and douse flames they were able to save his friends house and a whole lot more but still its a heartbreaking week for them. So the water pumped in and start battling that you think you have one house out you can look back to what got him. Same house the working on for hours up in flames in the arms around 20 minutes and you know again that all been prevented by. One single water tender truck and for its roses, you the littlest things like that could have we could on such a long way we could have saved so many more homes. Well ruskin says some of his crew were offduty firefighters and they were able to even help supply water to cal fire crews who are working in the area. All right. Yeah we want to get a check of the forecast we heard in the press conference earlier cal fire said that if the weather cooperates a bill continue to bring in the aircraft to assist in fighting this fire. So hopefully the weather will cooperate lets check in with meteorologist dave spahr and see whats in store take well to marty good morning and good morning, everybody, this is the progress we see right now in a fervor, the winds theyve been behaving pretty nicely just adrift basically on shore. Brings in that marine layer we like that, but sometimes problematic a little bit for getting the aircraft up and going. This is what the fog situation looks like a live and in person if you are shopping temper on. Good coverage with the fog thats somewhat typical anyway extending up to the north bay certainly from the golden gate. This is what it looks like from a macro standpoint, the whole bay area filling up along you can see the east bay shoreline up to the north bay and getting down to the Santa Cruz Mountains and of the south bay we go forward that mixes out very quickly before noon then comes back again tonight tomorrow morning at the furthest extent this is the most territory. Thats covered a little bit thinner with the fog going on doesnt quite get through the Santa Cruz Mountains as well or the south bay. So maybe thing get those planes up and running a little bit sooner even tomorrow as well again that will mix out quickly into the day temperatures right now weve got the lower 60s in the east bay upper 50s pretty much of a 50 story up to the north bay, the sun hasnt had much time to work at 57 meanwhile for san jose so for 71 is expected by 10 00am at 1 oclock about 87 were approaching about 90. Well do it in those inland valleys again today and through the weekend. The heat spike however has been delayed until early next week we are looking for race potentially to see some spots reach 100 into early next week, well check out that extended in your 4 zone forecast coming up in a bit robin all right sounds good. And its 6. 48 this friday morning want to go ahead and get a check of the forecast as far as looking ahead to the weekend as all of us thats right. Im sure im not the lone ranger there good morning marty good morning, everybody kind of overcast skies checking in at sfo with think the leftover fog that weve been talking about no delays happening there this morning. But lets get to that moisture stuff here is we measure the humidity levels going into the weekend. Again flooding into the Sacramento Valley in the Morning Hours as we get the daytime heating it mixes out to 40s to be found. And the far east bay. All right re flooding again and then tomorrow, pretty close to the same performance, although in some spots dropping off a little bit more so towards the end of the weekend however in early next week these numbers will start to drop not just because were getting drier that will happen to but also because well be getting much warmer looks like the early next week temperatures in the east bay and thus 50s and 60s mixture, 55 napa 50 going on for santa rosa 55 also San Francisco and san jose at 57. Now getting into the weekend conditions will be pretty similar got that marine layer as you can see at the coast and then look how this gets carved out here already by sunday as High Pressure starts to assert itself and we look toward next heat spike early next week as a side note we actually have 2 tropical systems off the coast way down there and that will kind of repel any of that moisture coming north which is good news, tony tropical moisture up here. A check of your 4 zone forecast going on today 66 San Francisco to the coast to mid 60s will do it along the peninsula. Meanwhile, the bayside 70s mixture of the north and 78 burlingame 80s come out though down south san carlos in 8084. Palo alto 79 from Mountain View and out of the south bay 84 for san jose 91 for morgan hill. Lets got us at about 88 tri valley is in the lower 90s so no one 86 lower 80s cover the east bay shoreline to the south. Concord at 91 walnut creek at 89 meanwhile we have a mixture of 80s 70s lining up the east bay shoreline like Castro Valley 81, but still 68 to berkeley and up in the north bay solano counties will of the warmest with lower to middle 90s 79 for napa and 86 for santa rosa mideighties heading down south. Here you have at your sevenday forecast that heat spike gets here early next week we may be pushing to near 100 and then breaking by the middle of next week check in the bay area bridges and traffic robin with one out. Its looking pretty good out there. We are checking in on the Richmond Sandra fell west bound 5. 80 and its picking up the s and the suns up so we have a brighter commute heading into the north bay, a steady flow of traffic so far no major or significant slowing here heading westbound so get on out there doing how under 15 minutes to make it from richmond into the north bay so that is good all right off to the golden gate. Its the only bridge thats under a wind advisory and a special fog advisory, those advisories coming from chp just warning drivers to take it easy since the fog is so dense out there dont forget the headlights and wipers but no traffic troubles into or out of San Francisco. Tossed cars around and turn some buildings into matchsticks was and how it was more like a screen that could actually hear the shame was being ripped the house while coastal regions were mostly spared. The predicted unsurvivable storm surge those who evacuated are happy they chose to get out if anybody tried to ride the storm out i think they were indians like and same be crazy to ride out a storm. Now the lake charles mayor says that the water plants took a beating from the storm and as of right now theres barely trickle of water coming out of most fossetts in homes and the mayor also says that when it comes to power that could be out for days perhaps even weeks.
