It is our desire to reach an agreement with the union on the few remaining articles the hospital is the north phase only Trauma Center and they have contracted with an agency to replace the caregivers on strike right now the emergency room is fully staffed the only department that has been affected by this is the Outpatient Imaging Services it will be closed during the strike and again the strike goes from today until friday. They are hoping is that the hospital will hear them and will actually crew this will create changes in the contract. Theyre hoping that the next time they go to the negotiation table. Well happening today San Franciscos westfield mall will be closing once again because of covid19 a surge in covid19 hospitalizations for San Francisco officials to issue that Closure Order on friday. The Coronavirus Relief program technically does not expire until july 31st but this coming week will be the last 4 paid benefits. The end of the paid by payments is likely to be a blow to a lot of Unemployed People because a lot of them are still out of work and the economy is still far from recovered from the pandemic its not clear if the additional Unemployment Benefits will be included in that next stimulus package.
