Now again at these closures taking place today and many of the Business Owners as well to at the beginning of the week really caught off guard. They spent all this time trying to actively get their businesses back open in to find out they had to close him down once again so again theyve got to take staff into consideration when making a lot of these decisions. Now we spoke to some Business Owners who said they could potentially see some defiance happening from Business Owners with his a new round of closures take a listen. The mall is expected to was forced to close again because of the governors latest announcement. The malls website explains the process for Curbside Pickup which stores are taking part and where you can pick up your items. San Francisco Unified School District is moving forward with starting the school year at home at the district zoom meeting on tuesday. Superintendent Vincent Matthews recommended schools begin on august 17th with Distance Learning. The plan is to eventually move towards a phased in return starting midoctober at the earliest the earliest it would be a big south. So i dont want people to get a return starts 2 weeks 3 weeks said we that should it in person. School for small groups and we will want to 28. As covid cases rise here in california, the demand for testing is also increasing state Health Leaders rolled out new testing guidelines that prioritize who gets tested and when this also includes guidance for labs on which specimens to process first the priorities are split into tears with hospitalized covid19 symptom patients first and those with a known exposure to the virus as well is followed by those with symptoms or who are working places like hospitals, Nursing Homes and in prisons. Then those who work in other Industries Like retail manufacturing Food Service Transportation and education all of this to try and meet the high demand for testing. The state also hopes to expand testing to the offices of Health Care Providers across the state. The testing in california is a vital piece of our response not only to focus on taking care of patients too. Present with symptoms in our care Delivery System but also to understand the patterns of transmission. Health Officials Say california is now averaging more than 105,000 covid19 tests a day.
