Well Santa Cruz County saw its first coronavirus death over the weekend, the 70 yrold man had Underlying Health conditions and he was admitted to the hospital back on march 19th with symptoms. He did not recently travel he had no known contact with anyone who was exposed. Santa cruz county has 41 confirmed cases now. Well there are over 722,000 cases worldwide and nearly 3400 deaths but more than a 156,000 people have recovered worldwide here in the us we have more than a 142,000 cases in over 2400 deaths specifically within the state of california we currently have more than 6200 cases and a 130 deaths. A grocery delivery app based here in San Francisco is trying to increase Safety Measures for its workers who instacart says that the virus changes are an attempt to avert a planned strike for today, the Grocery Delivery Service says it will be providing Hand Sanitizers to its fullservice shoppers. The emergency proclamation says that these Corner Stores cannot stay open between the hours of 08 00pm and 06 00am the goal here is to keep people from gathering at these places but one store owner we spoke with said these hours are crucial to hibusiness and that this is really going to hurt. San franciscos liquor in corner store businesses are having to make some changes. A volunteer saw a t of people needing food so they are planning to set up another food drive very soon. Crews will Start Building that center today and people whwill be stay there theyre coming from Santa Clara County shelters.
