Officers at first responded to the area of mission boulevard and blanch street in hayward but did not find any evidence there. But then a half hour later 2 men suffering from gunshot wounds were found in neighboring oakland, one of them was pronounced dead at the scene the other was rushed to the hospital. Police say 2 men were victims of the shooting initially reported in hayward this is the citys 4th homicide of the year. And in Palo Alto Police say a middle school aged boy was killed when he was hit by a car happened friday night about 7. 30 on el camino at california avenue. The driver was making a right turn at that intersection when he collided with the boy who was on his bike at the time the boy died at the scene. Officers at first responded to the area of mission boulevard and blanch street, but they didnt find any evidence there but then a half hour later 2 men suffering from gunshot wounds were discovered in oakland, one was pronounced dead at the scene the other was rushed to the hospital. Police say the 2 men were victims of the shooting initially reported in hayward this is the citys 4th homicide of the year. On the peninsula and Palo Alto Police say a middle school age boy was killed when he was hit by a car. It happened friday night on el camino about 7. 30 at the intersection of el camino in california avenue. The driver according to police made a right turn at the intersection when he collided with the boy who was on his bike. The boy died at the scene. The driver a palo alto man in his 60s stayed at the scene and cooperated with police. Hes not been sighted nor arrested pending the outcome of the investigation.
