Then west and east area its a very rapidly changing fire. It which makes it extremely dangerous for firefighters. Staying in distance. We saw ambers in the sky. So we said were out of there. But thats all changed we just heard the winds have shifted weve been talking about the winds all morning long burning a fire more in the southerly direction which puts the town of guys real now in the direct path half of this fire and thats why you just heard them say that theyve town to put the town on alert and that theyre thinking maybe in the next hour they might have to implement a mandatory Evacuation Order for the town of guys are phil and you heard him say theyre asked me to be about 2000 people that would be impacted by that so theyre on standby, if you know anybody who lives and dies or bill who has no power right now, but they have a working cell phone. Give them a call let them know they need to be on the lookout and listening for that high low siren thats something new that theyve implemented this year the sheriffs vehicles3are going be rolling through town you may not have time to go knock on everybodys door, but theyre going to roll through town to get a blast that highlow siren. And actually as we just heard in a phone interview as well that those 2000 more people mayall small theyre going need a place to go so many obviously are going to be trickling in here throughout the Morning Hours as well. The northeast right now so that is resulting in fire growth now redirected a little bit further to the southwest and thats where youre concerned for areas such as geyser ville im really comes into play because once you see the fire moving down into the valley here thats where all the people live thats where all those wineries are where the community of guys are villas were other communities in the area are as well and winds are shifting very regularly when you get a fire thats growing this fast. Probably seen in my life and crews were trying to get that under control because embers from now were starting to fly. That is obviously now Evacuation Center Evacuation Center now for this fire because when theyre high school is closing at 07 00am for kids to go back to school. But just within the past 5 minutes actually all power on the street and for the Community Center went out and it was completely dark. Now if you can actually hear you can probably hear a backup generator and thats because theres actually an animal services. Rock behind me as well as a red cross truck and they have some lights and a generator out there now just before this live shot the power did come back on here but not everything is completely back up and working want go ahead and keep this in mind when we come to when it comes these power outages. This area was not expected to have a power outage. So this means the streetlights are closed off the most importantly that means Evacuation Center could not possibly have power throughout the day, again very fortunately it is backing up and running right now it really only lasted for about 5 to 7 minutes but was completely dark here for a while so just imagine the pain and going through volunteers mind when this is happening. Now i do want to tell everyone again hillsbor Community Center the only Evacuation Center. Its right in the middle of town windsor is now closed. This is going to be the resource ceer for everyone been speaking with the mayor. David here for hillsborough and for the area and he did mention. He said this is a place where people can not only you know charge recharge themselves, but also all the batteries need if theyre also impacted by a power outage. So its not just evacuees for the fire if you also our someone who maybe struggling for the power outage. At the latest conditions in the Sonoma County area as well as here closer in the San Francisco where theyre looking at 90 degrees in the city right now, yeah, its not just going to be in really windy day guys were also going to be looking at record breaking temperatures across the bay area today our hottest temperatures are strongest winds. In the vicinity of the king cake fire, very bad location right here because the strongest winds in the bay area right now are in this immediate vicinity asti cloverdale currently looking at winds regularly gusting into a range of 30 to 40 Miles Per Hour. We have reports of a peak gust on those mountains just east of the fire of 78 Miles Per Hour overnight last night now lit and nds are blowing from the south but look at asti right here blowing from the northeast. So theres a lot of variability in winds around the fire and thats why you nationally souganding to the northwest now that fire really growing to the southwest very close to geyser bill at this point and why that community is under evacuation at this time as for winds this morning they continue to be windy. All across the north bay as well as down south along San Mateo County where we are experiencing some power shutoffs a in the area right along the coastline. There are wooded areas. So they cant you cant use that anymore but if you continue on if you have livestock, take it to the Sonoma County fairgrounds in santa rosa because they set up their facilities opened it up for you to bring things like courses, any large animals may have on your ranch.
