Firefighters obviously trying to. A fight against a comeback before this burns any bigger what we see and lets go under will tran a hes live in raw. The one thing complicating the whole thing is that these poor residents had been plunged into darkness before the fire even broke out so theyre trying to find their way around and power to get out of the neighborhood. No street lights at all as well because pg had cut off the power about an hour before the fire started so there was no power. Running through the lines. James talked about that breezy conditions let me show you video of the fire. It was around according to cal fire going about 15 Miles Per Hour or so at the time of the fire a little bit gusty but according to them nothing out of the ordinary the fire happened at a very dry remote area along a ridge line and the fire raced to the left and the right of the ridge line going downhill. Ndhas why they were forced evacuate about a 140 people we did talk to a lot of people and they said they got a call a robo call to evacuate their home holmes were not hearing of any injuries or any fatalities at this time or any of the homes damaged or destroyed, but it is still obviously dark at this time, so firefighters have not been able to fully look at the landscape. Saint marys was in the path way, but it appears same areas was never truly threatened at this particular time a lot of people daria you mentioned they had to race down. The hill in complete darkness, fortunately we could see any car crashes from people is just chaotic le leaving their homes, it looks like it was orderly people know this is wildfire season and they live in an area surrounded my dry cnce to talk to some of the people who were evacuated. Heres what one person had to say about it. And suddenly there was just this insanely large smell smoke and obviously once we got down here. And james dairy according to cal fire the fire is in fact still burning but they have been able to knock down the huge flames, its far from control they said it was at least 60 containing contain basically means sets their effort to try to corral it to circle the flames, so i wont spread so not being a 100 , yes, its still making progress which is why cal fire. Its still along the ridge line but the good news is they did cancel some of their bulldozers and theyre letting their hand crews. Do a lot of the fighting on the ridge line and once the sun comes up, they will send more crews in their own obviously it is so dark and they dont want any firefighters injured, especially with the heavy lifting a lot of it done already they dont want any additional firefighters out there being injured. No air support being called at this particular time. Theyre going to tell people go head start to go back to their ums but they will more than likely be escorted because they dont want people to be injured. And you can see think that the headlights right behind me those are the cars. They in the middle of the night had to calm down this area. But it looks like now theyre heading back here and some of the checkpoints it appears james and darya are being lifted back to benefit of have. Having already gotten their go kids together because they knew the power its going to be shut off. Well so the problem. Thats unusual when a fire breaks out. Yes theyve been watching the news i did talk to so those people and they did watch the news and they were fully prepared that they would be in the dark starting at around midnight, so they knew what was going on and they had their cell phone starts because a couple of people i spoke to said they got the call it wasnt the knock at the door it was a robo call from the nearby agencies telling them about the fire and they were able to get out in an orderly fashion. The Sheriffs Department firefighters they took over this area, its was slow and go getting through here because of so many checkpoints and we had they even talk to the firefighters to say let us get closer to talk to the command center. He said we wont let you because we dont want anybody injured, but we said we want to pass along the information and thats how we were able to talk to firefighters about pg e taking out power now about the conditions of the wind at this particular time but look at that area, nobody speeding anymore. Yes, there are more rs on the roadway at 5 oclock they need i would imagine on a typical day. But it looks like now. People can start a brief little bit are. Thanks a lot. Well. Well lets talk more about those people that ready to go at a moments notice this more with kron 4 Sarah Stinson shes actually live for us at the Evacuation Center at saint Monicas Church in morocco. Sarah. Inside the church and this is whereuation centers. Its actually pitch black inside have all supplies, got blankets and. Im here live rd and her daughter eva. You told me when you lef your house it was just crazy because you saw all the smoke and members yeah. There is right on the house side right behind our back yard from what we understand and entire. I was just filled up and like orange and red. Us and the smoke was i mean just that it was crazy, i mean my feet are late. It got pretty close to. And some of the fences i heard from the police chief were destroyed in a poll sheds so they got pretty close to home houses on that back line. I mean we literally just grabbed the kids has and our keys and left so. Yeah were so thankful that everything is. And everyone is safe and its just like and from that ariel stopped and you know that was damaged and not even really about every day were just flying into the kind of art. And thank you guys so for joining us stay warming. Now getting everything they they need its important to mention a police has told us that. Anybody on say in the Sanders Ranch neighborhood should stay of that waited. Live in the Sanders Ranch neighborhood. But those who live sand or ranch neighborhood day have to stay here theyre just standing by waiting here update from firefighters for now, im live in Sarah Stinson kron sarah so unusual to see. A center that people are supposed to go have no lights on and thats the odd thing. And i think it was very odd for people who had to grow and theres things in the dark talked to one woman earlier in the 4 oclock hour. She could turning on the lights and that they would go on to choose and japan. I actually forgot. All right, thank you very much there and of course were watching the winds because thats the big driver the fire this morning at how quick little spread hopefully pfeiffers able to get handle on in full containment before gets any bigger tell john. He woke up without. Notice the way noticed when i stepped outside yeah, the wind was actually born a lot stronger than was when i went to bed, yeah it really picked up ernight eyes and that was when this fire actually did break out which why that was why there was so much concern surrounding it is still very breezy out there across the east bay, san ramon right now 27 mile per hour winds. Brett what call to my also checking in with those winds will stand out of the way of that merrill fire burning in rugged of course crews gaining the upper hand on it now containment at 70 this is certainly good news at the time the blaze broke out we are looking at wind speeds gusting into the 30 to 10 Miles Per Hour range depending on where in the vicinity of the fire youre talking about and you could see those embers blowing around neighborhoods right there. So thats why crews responded so fast and thank good they did looks like residents. Theyre certainly happy that this containment numbers are jumping up into the north bay. We are also looking at still some very strong winds president care fairfax down on mill valley in sandra fell all looking at wind speeds well up into the 20 mile per hour range Stinson Beach look at that right along the coast 34 Miles Per Hour we saw wind speeds last night gusting as high as 70 Miles Per Hour atop mount diablo and mount saint helene of these are peak wind gusts across the but as you do see mixing up rring in the aospher toward sunrise. We could see the occasional dipping of some pretty strong winds closer to the surface. And thats why we do have extreme fire danger continuing in these red yellow contours especially noteworthy in the north bay, but also for portions of the east bay too so crews are taking this fire potential very seriously not just through the morning but well on into the afternoon as the combination of factors, those high winds dry humidity are low humidity and dry tender does continue a windy conditions resulting in wind advisories tell 03 00pm including in theinityof the merrill fire burning in moraga and then of course the red flag warnings that we also have across the bay area that remain in effect today, intel, 05 00pm more coverage still to come back to you. All right, thank you john want to check in on highway one oh one because we had a little brush fire that broke out in corte madera southbound want to want to pious drive the fires out its under control, but the 2 right lanes are still close by fire crews. So thats going to impact your commute traveling from the north bay to the golden gate into San Francisco once again the fires out under control theyre putting out the hot spots and cleaning up, but the 2 right lanes are still closed so youll see a brief slowdown as you pass through the scene after that its going to be a great trip to the golden gate at 18 minutes novato to the toll plaza, getting busy at the bay bridge toll plaza, no major crash ashes or stalls 13 minutes with the growing back of that starting to spill to west grand so youre still from west grand through the tolls up the incline well check more purchase and drive times coming up. Very much want to take a closer look at that pg e outage map that weve been showing you yesterday and show you so far this morning and this is the map by the way that a lot of people been having a hard time getting too because it keeps crashing. But while we have it up we wanted to at least give you a quick little tour. Its particularly the east bay in the south bay and talk more about where were seeing some of these outages this morning focusing in on walnut creek and you can see weve got a nice section here of a walnut creek. Just to the watch up towards Pleasant Hill where weve got Power Outages and of course a long 24. This is that area where we had that fire a breakout a moroccan you can see a lot of lafayette right now seen Power Outages across a good bit of town and as the map slide you can see moraga now coming into view there Saint Marys College and all of the surrounding area now in that. Intentionally potential blackout right this is these are the areas in hot pink were pg e has intentionally shut off the power and thats where were seeing a lot of that portion of the east bay in the dark right now course thats where aga theres a renda want to slide the map down a little bit further, heres Castro Valley to kind of depends on where you are a downtown Castro Valley are fine, but as you head in towards the crow canyon area. Thats where youre seeing a lot of these blackouts occur right now in the car so this is a lot more rugged right along crow canyon road. If youve ever driven that section, you know its awfully windy with very steep hills on either side lots of vegetation and thats been the big worry a lot of these areas where were seeing the blackouts are either in areas that are a lot more rugged or communities that of a better bet, but right up towards its of the diablo range another area where were seeing levees blackouts and as we slide the map shell see that as you make your way down 6. 80 and then along 6 asia towards milpitas youre also seeing up in the hills to more areas that are in these a blackout conditions. The timing again weve got to stress this the timing for wind power will re be returning is going to depend on the head how remote your community is closer towards urban centers. Those areas will probably see their lights turned back on a lot quicker, but as head closer towards Regional Park land and out into the hills, a little more its going take a little while longer does pg e has to inspect all of the power lines that are out there and slowly roll those can communities back in line. And so again as we head towards the south you can see just south of cupertino south that area, were looking at. Well Stevens Creek at good bit of that now in the dark on that in valley. Were also seeing the same situation there in here as we slide over towards the eastern side of a san jose out towards alum rock heading out towards the Lick Observatory for instance, were looking at conditions again where a lot of these communities that are nestled up in the hills are in the dark this morning so were going to continue to give you a tour throughout the morning. And a highlight some of the areas were still seeing Power Outages that expected to last at least through the day today, wpal around james right over your shoulder thats where kron fours christina is right now. Now in that neighborhood san jose where people are going to be waking up without power. A power shut off rally when or after they went to bed last night christina. Yeah, theyre definitely going to be waking up in the dark driving all throughout this area we just have miles upon miles of residential neighborhoods with absolutely no power no life honestly to be seen for quite a few miles down the hill a little bit. I would say probably about 2 or 3 miles down the road you see some whites but anything up here in the residential areas completely closed off. As james had mentioned to kind of these foothill areas the darker and darker it gets and now this is an area that was also impacted last night a lot of people going to bed as you had mentioned are it who didnt know if theyd be waking up with power. Im not lot of people anticipating the shut off. Throughout the day around 08 00pm but then it kind of lingered on throughout the night with white and lo and behold there definitely could be waking up in the dark here. This was something that happened yesterday a lot of on back and forth on the timing of when this. You know shut off was going to happened when this power outage was going to hapaen, you know we can definitely say here in alum rock area. Power outage ahead. Definitely head and actually Santa Clara County has officially declared a state of emergency a local state of emergency due be shut off. Analysts impacted a lot of the School District in the area as well as some local Community Colleges as well here that tape, you know they are not even going to have their emergency resources because of the power outage that something thats not going to be available. However this entire area because of all of the back and forth talk with pg me and all the news outlets in here sharing this information a lot of people here in the area had and luckily some time yesterday to prepare for this get their emergency bags ready a lot of people shopping a lot of the supermarkets and. You know corner stores. Now out of a lot of supplies and we actually spoke with one young gal whos getting ready for this herself. We can meet the kids in the future. If we cant do few others. So we need a size need to do more. So the city of san jose actually held a series of press conferences yesterday very much preparing to residents for this you know getting a lot of options of what people and residents can in. Some Resource Centers set up provided by the city throughout the entire area if they need any type of emergency assistance. Something honestly as simple as charging your phone they have that available also the soccer stadium is going to be letting people in force and resources as well. The city of san jose actually also does have an open website were going make sure to share that all with you over on kron 4 dot com as well so youre here in the san jose area and you need to know about some resources or if youre in a neighboring county, and you dont have those as well you can come in charge your phone is if this is impacting you as well and also like to reiterate one statement that james had mentioned when it comes to your power coming back on that is ever changing information depending on exactly where you live. So were going make should also keep you updated with that as throughout the next 2 days, reporting live in san Jose Christina tetreault kron 4 news. The flames started burning at merrill drive just south of saint mary fact we have a map can show you where the fire is currently burning right now there you see the icon indicating where the fire is. And where Saint Marys College is right now its burned a little more than 40 acres. Last check it was 60 contained that was the new information at the top of the hour, mandatory evacuations have been ordered for the Sanders Ranch neighborhood other areas that have had been evacuated, were told those folks are being allowed back home but anybody along Sanders Ranch is still being told to stay away because the fire still burning a little too close for comfort this has. Hundreds of thousands of more people have been added to the list of pg need black out neighborhoods. Lets take a look at. Now that is very hard to see on pg site thats why weve got it here on kron for you you can see they added the Berkeley Hills so many other areas, berkeley oakland. Welcome back 5. 25 winds will remain a factor throughout much of the day today, a future cast look at when shows guests regularly into the 20 to 30 mile per hour range, especially noteworthy for the north bay and the east bay, even as we move into the afternoon wind advisories do expire at 3 red flag advisories expiring at 5 by 03 00pm today, humidity still in the Single Digits in livermore napa in youngsville so still very dry out there even as we do push through. The afternoon today tomorrow were not going to see factors so bad as far as fire danger is concerned so finally able to get back to normal life hopefully at least for most areas your daytime highs today pretty similar to yesterdays back into the 70s 80s for most of the bay. Robin. Thank you john the morning commutes really picking up we have a crash and on the san mateo bridge, its crawling right now leaving hayward heading over to the peninsula. Visit takeactionpv. Com theres a fire and other and an Evacuation Center. These are folks who li in morocco around the wildfire that broke out around 01 00am april 4 rah stinson our lives of you there at the backend of this is saint Monicas Church him or aga. And sara i dont know if you heard the good news, but some folks actually allowed to go back now correct. Actually Just Announced that. At the Evacuation Center. And people were clapping and just really grateful for the work that firefighters have done as you can see theyre still in the dark. One is allowed to go home except people who live. That is because they have a ton of equipment over there. Its all cleared up they want to also make sure the the sun comes up theres so close to the homes. That sense is burned down. They actually the police are making an announcement right now saying if you live on Sanders Ranch. You can go back in other than merrill circle his making that announcement right now. Many people are very excited to go home and just cant believe that they were able to get it under control. So quickly. They said that you know no homes are threatened and theres no fire threat right now. Again theyre just monitoring situation there very confident the fires not going to sparked that was one of the biggest concerns for people. And were just making sure that its ok. Is just incredible. Utley getting people to evacuate. Everyone knew to come here to the Catholic Church and then the red cross just came running that supply it could have been much much worse. And the police chief and the fire chief wanted to. Thank the community for taking the evacuation so seriously. The fire chief here hes very tall some of the camera before you leave. The home is watching right now i just told them that everyone can go home sides merrill circle. Can you just talk about just how close it was though uh yes, the fire against fence is a of several, im excited of actions of the first firefighters on scene preventing the loss structures and minimize the damage to just grass vegetation in this case. I was just saying on air that people in morocco i mean you guys you know what youre doing when it comes to a disaster. You have. The decisive actions. The first firefighters on scene are critical to preventing the loss of the structures. As the integration coronation the time apd the rider in the Fire District are cooperating firing see specifically san ramon valley. It was critical as well as a Governors OfficeEmergency Services as staff to preposition strike teams this county was one the ones that participated in that undercount fires leadership, having those additional firefighters on scene the dish tremendous difference and containing the fire and preventing the loss structures and some people have. Confident that the fires going sparked a reason male circle is still closed because i want to wait till sun comes up. We want to the sun comes up so were able do a better assessment that the conditions on the ground. And that area we currently have seen it number of fire addison personnel still operating. This is a safety concern with when they have those in the street as engines all over the place firefighters still mopping up reintroducing residents in their cars in that area poses a concern so going to delay that until a and with the winds over still experiencing new geysers. No word though is going to spark. Were always very worried about week and on thats why we have maintained significant number of resources on the incident continue to monitor and suppress the hot spots and keep an eye on anything that might lie to thank you so much for joining us. Im sure theyre so grateful to go home because they had to leave their homes in the middle of the night in pitch black. I will continue to fall this but for now on live august Sarah Stinson. Thanks a lot sarah see so could be worse your individual actually release was no fire i e e it thats a situation that a lot of people are going to be hundreds of thousands waking up this morning in the dark is genie added more blackouts last night they did yeah and the winds really did pick up in the overnighhours and that was the big change in for kids thats what were anticipating john week. Turn ourttti to john in the Weather Center was the winds and expect the expectation they would build overnight they didnt get it. They absolutely didnt use kept seeing those about power power shut off getting pushed back hour by hour for parts of the east bay, but then they really kicks into gear and just in time as those winds kicked up overnight. Then of course the merrill fire. Started to burn in raga uh just north of the fire we had winds gusting around 30 Miles Per Hour just south of the fire. From where the weather stations, checking back at and around 10 Miles Per Hour. So it was breezy. At the time that the blaze did take off and as of right now you are still seeing some pretty windy conditions in the surrounding vicinity, pittsburgh antioch brentwood, black hawk down through san ramon on the 20 mile per hour range for your wind speeds a look at rio vista up to 34 Miles Per Hour right now especially windy up in the marine had winds, youre looking at very breezy conditions in Stinson Beach mill valley up to fairfax on over one acre in the 20 mile per hour range. North bay look at this is why fire danger still so high were nowhere close to out of the woods just yet. Sonoma 36 mile per hour winds right now hope valley at 29 Miles Per Hour santa rosa little lighter at 12 Miles Per Hour. Now its a holding a as well as mount diablo ii checking in last night with peak wind gusts topping out at or above 70 Miles Per Hour so yes, im very breezy conditions in fire danger does remain extreme for the north bay as well as portions of the east bay, even down into the Santa Cruz Mountains notice, so you see less and less of that red and yellow on into the evening tonight. Thats as those winds subsiding eventually setting this up for what will be a much calmer start to the weekend just around the corner, so wind advisories. They remain until 03 00pm today that includes in the area of the merrill fire right raga and we see here on the map red flag warnings, although still in effect theyre only going to be in effect tell 05 00pm today at which point winds diminishing fire danger really dropping as well. So today, fire danger still high that includes the east bay north bay much of the bay area, your daytime highs pretty similar to yesterdays back into the 70s over to you robin. All right, thank you john now, lets check in on your morning commute which is not so bad and out there were taking a look at at the richmond sandra fell and right now its delay free its not going to stay this way but its going to be great trip for now to the north bay, youre looking at 7 minutes quick easy right on time from the tolls to one oh one the bay bridge back up is growing we have a full house, its stacked up from west grand slow up the incline but looking pretty good on the suspension and the skyway really quick peak at some drive times for you the east shore 19 minutes from crockett to oakland. But youre still on time for west 24 5 80 and the nimitz from to 38 to downtown oakland chaits all right robin thank you very much one of the back. That pg e map and try and get you the information you need if youre having trouble accessing this map. This will be your chance to take a look at at least in the east bay and some portion of the south bay where were seeing the Power Outages right now first off and wannacry can see weve got a little bit stressed a stretch here towards the downtown area just north up towards heather farm in. Bancroft area were looking at a small pocket of walnut creek that has power out right now, but on the west side of 6. 80 a larger section, a walnut creek heading up towards. Pleasant hill where we do have power out right now you can see the hot pink indicates areas where pg intentionally shut off the power. This is no accident this was don on purpose. Now as we follow 24, i do want to bring the topic of moroccan lafayette back into play again because i want to illustrate why not the map just a little bit. This is lafayette murrah goes right down here, heres a random and as we pull out the shot just a bit the fires burning right around here and the point i want to make is that the winds are blowing towards the coast right in the worry for firefighters was if embers from this fire in marotta travel just a little bit. It will get right into the redwood Regional Park and thats just a stones throw away from the Oakland Hills and we know what can happen if fire and wind hit the Oakland Hills and of course thats the big worry and thats why they were so desperate firefighters were to get a handle on this fire before anything spread and created a problem that was going to be magnified 1020 fold. So that was the big worry there and i just wanted to point that out how close that mark the fire was to the Oakland Hills, all right, lets go back to 6. 80 want to give you a tour of where were seeing the Power Outages this morning as we travel south. And it depends on where you are because look danville no power outage, but just one city to the south san ramon and we are seeing Power Outages. A lot of it having to do with the crow canyon area, the norse canyon area where things get a lot more steep a lot more rugged and theres a lot more vegetation and fuel for the fire. But this power outage also extends to other portions of san ramon to on the west side of the freeway. Our lets keep heading south because we really dont see more Power Outages until we get down past pleasanton towards the sun all great manager follow 6. 80. Youll see that what you get toward son all thats where we have more Power Outages on both sides of 6. 80. So if youre in those communities are going to be dealing with this power outage probably for a little while longer. I know john was talking about the red flag warning expiring at 05 00pm tonight, he said the winds will diminish significantly by then and the threat well probably get a lot less after 05 00pm tonight but that doesnt necessarily mean that thats when your power. Well come back on because dont forget pg has to go out there inspect the lines before they can re energize it as we continue to slide the map to the south youll see as we head down towards areas like alum rock and some of these communities that but up right against the diablo range, youre going to see a lot more widespread Power Outages and its these areas that will take a longer to bring back on line if you live in an area closer towards an urban community, your power should probably come up sooner rather than later, but it seems more remote areas where its going to take pg needs little bit longer to a verified that the lines are safe to bring back on bring power back to your neighborhood in fact your home so just keep to the kron 4 keep you updated throughout the day today and the progress that teaching is making towards getting slights back on for you are you got alum rock over your shoulder, there thats where well continue our Team Coverage and go to kron fours Christina Tate wrote. They were plunged into the dark with the hundreds of thousands of other people joining the other areas in the bay area, the south bay, one of them christina. Thousands of people here in alum rock area are going to be waking up with absolutely no power it is dark for miles behind me and right primarily this is very much a residential area about 2 miles down the road down the hello little bit weve got some light on over there near some of the shopping centers. As you proceed up here to the residential areas it is completely pitch black no one here has any power now this is a good these are areas that last night were up almost waiting and anticipating the power being turned off kind of waiting originally to about 08 00pm which is what a lot of people thought but many people actually going to bed still with power. Those are some of the people who will be waking up without power this morning. Theres a lot of everchanging information from pg me yesterday so this is you know this is primary, this is a huge huge group a huge area right here that also was kind of subject to all of that change. Now here in the Santa Clara County area the county actually declared a state of local emergency because of these this joint pow outages throughout entire a meeting different pockets, the justices genes had mentioned when it comes to different foot hill areas. It is going you may experience a longer shut off. Then a more commercial areas because the genie needs to check outages to get up here. So that is something it is subject to change and when this area will power will come back on here. But here in the south a particularly the city of san jose held a series of press conferences yesterday to tell the residents you know how the city is preparing for this outage. So very lucky. We a lot of people were able to get out get gas as well as a lot of resources yesterday and we actually chatted with one young girl who was about 14 and she was talking about kind of for scare and call to action to leaving get surprises. Welcome to mentioning that this is a very r her and her family, natalie, at age 14 you know feeling that urgency to be prepared for an outage like this as you can imagine different families running out to stores, preparing i kind of clearing the shelves for a lot of lot of commercial areas here. Now again when it comes to this area in particular the city of san jose also mention their press conference is that they have some Resources Available for use in Community Centers set up that are free of charge if you need to go in. You know use a computer charge your phone etcetera so theyre going to have those open up throughout the city as well as a soccer stadium here stadium here locally also have some resources for you if you are. And needing help so were going make sure to have a full list of those online over kron 4 dot com and were going make sure to keep you updated the rest of the morning on whats going on. There is a press conference at 07 00am for more information from the city of san jose i am going to be there live to make sure to give you guys the most and as quickly as. Reporting live here in the city of san jose, im Christina Tetreault kron 4. Thank you christina so that area joined a host of other bay area folks whove been with out power for. From midnight the day before including napa sonoma marin and solano counties so lets take a look because now theyre going into day 2 without power james thats absolutely right as we zoom in on different parts of the bay will start on the what eastern side of the richmond sandra fell bridge. I just want to show you real quickly we do have a lot of areas right near kensington right up along the tilden. Regional park where we have a lot of power outage and again a lot of homes, doc bs hillside so in that part of the bay were looking at Power Outages that are expected to expire until later tonight so just keep that in mind the rest of like elsa brought a richmond, youre fine powers on for you, lets head across though the richmond sandra fell bridge and into the north bay were looking at conditions that are again spotty at best, but as you come down one o one from. Sandra fell youre going to see like in marine city Power Outages all throughout that area and then course stretching out to the west as you head into. Lets say the mere Woods National park in a lot of communities that border up along that but following want to one as we head south. We really dont see a more outages until you get down towards areas like sausalito and as you can see on the map here thats when that really starts to light up again theres downtown sausalito right along the waterway and depending on where you are in town youre going to be dealing with a number of blackouts intentional blackouts by pg name and then it sort of lessons up as you head towards the Golden Gate Bridge but lets widen out the map just a little bit because i do want to show you quickly what were seeing north of all of this up towards santa rosa as we follow one oh one. The other direction and youll see as we head on up it depends on where you are and on which side of the freeway that youre on we noticed this yesterday, nevada we dont see the Power Outages there which is good news and then as we head up towards petaluma its once we get towards rohnert park and up towards santa rosa that would begin to see blackouts come back into play and most of it is on the east side of one oh one as you can see stretching up into the hills there of the wine country and thats kind of where were seeing the predominant area blackouts have been implemented by pg any. Now lets head up towards santa rosa yesterday. We had a situation where on the west side of santa rosa things were just fine, but as you said as you head out towards the east the Fountain Grove neighborhoods thats where a lot of these blackouts were being position intentionally by pg so does depend on what part of town youre in if you still need resources to get through all of this of course just head over to the other side of town in the us said the freeway and you should be able find stores that are still open with lights on and things of that nature so youre not in that not everybody is in the dark there is some relief there are Resources Available to you should you wake up this morning and discover that you need something well theres a place to find although james was frustrating though i mean its nice that you can go across street to the. To the gas station of the supermarket, but you woke up say youre dealing with a head lamp well at 2 in the morning and. Everybody else is like lights on problem and that was that have to confess it was a win man what night out of my pitch black dark neighborhood where got ready in the dark and literally drove around the block and also the the lights were on in that part of town and the Stores Grocery Stores were fully live in my house, what yeah, yeah and from the other side, i felt guilty because i had the lights and as i drove by a. Sausalito and and uh that part of trend. I saw you know a tent like a disaster 10 you know and that was the area where the supposed to our charge their phones and cell all it up and i thought i feel guilty. I had lights and they did. This is the way is its a you know a blackout one spot in full lights and the other the best way to stay connected.
