But you have to give us cost of living adjustment the teachers say its only fair, especially since they have to pay a lot of money for their own healthcare listen in. Our members pay off Health Care Costs out of pocket. And we know the district can afford to care their teachers call. Help us keep up with the rising cost of living in the bay area. The district did make an offer and we know that this offer is still not ratify abul by our members. So the districts offer they went up to 2 up from one percent but the Teachers Union claims that just fuzzy math because if you spread it throughout the duration of the contract. Its still one percent of the district said to learn to me last week. Now they have to scramble because were not talking about contracts anymore obviously at the heart of this are the students and now were down to about 2 weeks left to school and last week because they didnt have class they couldnt take finals. So the School District this week, well have to find some way to administer those finals and theyre very important because a lot of colleges are looking for the last transcripts before they can spine allies the deal to accept a lot of the seniors.
