We also are not expecting too much in the way of run off from this stormso its not going to make much of a difference to the levels in this and other reservoirs around the south bay. Vasona is one of the smallest of the valleys ten reservoirs and right now its abouttwothirds full. But the others are not in such goof shape. Lexington reservoir in the hills above los gatos is at about 30 percent of capacity. And together, all ten reservoirs, which account for about half of the valleys localsupply, are at about 26 percent full. The good news is that the ground water is in good shape and conservation efforts have paid off. rob live right now rainfall for the season across the Greater South bay is just a little better than half of what it should be for this time of year, on whats more it looks like well be dry until, once this looks like well be dry until next month. And investigators are still trying to figure out how it happened. The 50yearold man was found yesterday morning. Just a few steps away from the 24th street bart station. Witnesses say he was sleeping in the alley. And a short time later he was on fire. Police are now checking surveillance cameras in the area. Looking to see how the fire started. They are investigating his death as suspicious. grant police in the east bay are looking for a gunman after a shooting outside of a shopping mall. It happened at the sun valley mall in concord last night. Police say just after 9 00. A group of five people left the round one arcade and bowling alley. Three men then confronted the group in the parking lot. During that confrontation. One of the suspects took out a gun and started shooting. One victim was hit in the leg, but is expected to be okay. No arrests have been made and police do not have a description of the gunman. vicki on to another big story. The city of San Francisco now has its third mayor in less than a month and a half. But that was before they heard about a Justice Department crackdown on 23 sanctuary cities. Its also threatened to withhold federal grant money. The mayors of new orleans and chicago are among those who refused today to go to the meeting. And they held a News Conference to scold the president on his handling of the issue. After lead was found in the Drinking Water at some of its schools. Only one school Willard Middle School had lead levels exceeding state standards. The Berkeley Unified School district discovered that one school had lead levels exceeding state standards. That was Willard Middle School. Where one drinking fountain indicated the problem and was immediately closed off to students. But at 5 other schools where there was lead within the safety level of state standards, the district decided to hold the schools to an even higher standard and remove the fountains. The state standard for taking fountains out of service is 15 parts per billion. Out of an abundance of caution we decided to taken them out based on one part per billion. We tested 21 schools. 6 of them had a fountain that tested one part per billion so were taking all those fixtures out of service.
