Area leaders slow the flow of people out of state and out of the city of San Francisco . Just to survive. Seeing this cat changed everything. Dont judge a book by its cover or a cat for its color. Animal shelters showing us theres nothing super about one superstition. I think theyre cute. Good morning, everybody. Im reed cowan and we made it to friday. Yes, black cats are very cute by the way and happy friday. Im gianna franco. Nicole zaloumis has the morning off. And i got to admit, reed, one day when you were off, nicole and i kind of gave black cats a little bit of a bad rap. Jess, i dont know if you remember that. But were on board. We love black cats any cat so take yeah, gianna. Do you remember that was friday the 13th too and we got some viewers not the happiest with us. Wearing black today in honor of black cat day. Saying go out and adopt. Thanks for the memo guys. We get dressed in the same rooms over there. We could have anyways i actually am wearing black today and kind of decided to go with red. As we head into the weekend theres a camp for us right around the corner. Not calling necessarily for a first alert weather day just yet. But heading into this weekend, we are going to be seeing some windy conditions especially throughout our north inland hills and all throughout the east bay. This morning were waking up with clear skies down in the Santa Clara Valley. We are sitting in the 40s folks. Yesterday we were in the 50s at this time and right now mid 40s from redwood city all the way up into San Francisco. Warms up a bit more. Little bit more moisture in San Francisco sitting at 50 degrees right now and 42 novato. And 340s stretching up into santa rosa and petaluma. Put the numbers in this morning i literally got a chill just thinking of it up there in the north bay. So grab the jacket before you head outdoor. Heres the big weather story for us heading into this weekend. Low pressure has been moving it way in from the north. Those are cold fronts and been pretty consistent this week actually. But once we head into the rest of this weekend, and into next week, were going to get sandwiched between High Pressure offshore and low pressure inland. Notice the direction of the winds suddenly gets really gusty and were seeing direct winds directly if the north that are going to ramp up anywhere up to around 50 Miles Per Hour heading into the weekend forecast im advancing the clock into saturday afternoon. Start giving you kind of the idea heading into this weekends forecast. Those halloween decorations all throughout the outdoors, you are probably going to want to hold on tight to them heres the reason why especially in the north bay. Wind gusts anywhere up to around 40 Miles Per Hour early sunday morning. Heading into those afternoon hours on sunday too. This is really gusty and the reason why im keeping a close eye on this is as the air moves in from the north american if the higher to the lower elevations it condenses and dries and it allowed for the National Weather service to issue a fire weather watch that starts tomorrow morning and extends all through the weekend. Keep that in mind in the zone or on this map. Were going to talk more about that in a bit. For now over to you, gianna. All right, thank you. Happy friday everyone. A live look at the freeways right now. And start off with the good news with look at the bay bridge. Where its moving along really nicely. Things are moving smoothly heading into San Francisco. No millions just yet. They dont get typically turned on for about another 20 to 35 minutes. Keep an eye own that. I want to draw your attention to the south bay or the border between the south bay and peninsula. Taking 101 this morning or 85 northbound at 101. That connector shut down for a Traffic Alert because of a crash that happened overnight. Reed . Well, gianna, the state of maine getting help this morning in a manhunt trying to find the suspect who killed 18 leaving more than a dozen others fighting for their lives in hospitals. And an army of helpers on the ground with one focus. And that is to find robert card. Were also learning more about the People Police say he killed. Stories rising up out of the violence. Arty strout was one of 18 People Killed and two more victims were learning about. A father and son. The younger of the two just a freshman in high school. Joseph walker also lost his life. Hes the son of maine city leader leroy walker who says his son died trying to stop the shooter. I kept a butcher knife and went after the gunman to try to stop him from killing other people. And thats when he shot my son to death. Just knowing that i was there and that few minutes and then thinking, you know, in the end, he was by himself. You know . No family. Kills you. So now as we see the grieving, the stories splits in two obviously. Families planning funerals and forced into a national spotlight. And then an army of officers with boots on the ground to find the triggerman in our next half hour were live in lewiston with the latest on the manhunt. Well, more tensions overnight in the middle east. The u. S. Military hit back overnight against targets in eastern syria. Military bosses blame those they hit for targeting u. S. Bases in iraq and syria using drones and missile strikes by iranian backed militia. Following up on the firepower, several hundred american troops are headed to the middle east to enhance protection of the u. S. Forces. Well, ground attack in gaza look at this. A raid carried out by Israeli Forces and we have video showing those Armored Vehicles destroying hamas tunnels. In places where hamas launches missiles against israel. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says a larger invasion on the ground is still to come as arab leaders call for a cease fire and so many hope the hostages will be released. The u. N. Says gaza is on the verge of running out of fuel on that side of the line as hospitals struggle there to save the wounded. So these realities bringing daily and sometimes hourly briefings to our leaders in congress. In fact, the new speaker of the house is louisianas conservative mike johnson. Great sway in congressional approval of money to help israel fight back against hamas. Also other priorities, our government will shut down next month if consensus cant be found between republicans and democrats. Cruise is halting driverless rides in all its test markets just three months after getting the green light to operate 24 7 here in San Francisco. The Company Posted on X Formerly Twitter that they have decided to pause driverless operations across all of their fleets while they reflect on how to earn public trust. Earlier this week, the dmv ordered cruise to pull its robo taxis from San Francisco streets accusing cruise of withholding video from a San Francisco crash that left a pedestrian badly hurt. Another car actually hit the woman first throwing her into the path of a cruise car which then dragged her down the street as it tried to pull over. But cruise also says that their decision isnt related to any new on road incidents and supervised rides will continue with a backup driver at the wheel. Cruise has also been using austin and phoenix as a testing ground for their taxis. Well, today Oakland Police will try a new way foe collect details on car burglaries hoping to catch thieves with the help of social media. Shawn chitnis is live from the east bay for us this morning with more on why theyre taking this approach and wondering, shawn, whats the reaction from residents . Reporter well, gianna, good morning. There are certainly some who think this is a good idea or at least it couldnt hurt. Others are more skeptical. And it is definitely an attempt by Oakland Police to try Something Different and see if it can make a difference in trying to get some progress on all the crimes. The idea of course never to try and stop the crime while its happening but at least take those photos and videos if you feel safe and now share that on social media immediately. The Oakland Police Department Says that they are going to use accounts both on instagram as well as x for just this weekend. Start using the accounts today to give people a way to send them information about a car burglary as its happening. Police tell us that theyve already had 11,300 car burglaries when the doors were locked and theyre hoping by having staff monitor these accounts during the weekend, they can share information throughout the department faster. Again, some residents are excited by the idea and others not so sure. Someone followed one of the cars into the garage. And they were driving a stolen car. So to compound their problems, the gate doesnt open without an opener. And so they had to ram and ram and ram the gate. Issue of crime in oakland, in response to crime in oakland, is so complex that you cant solve it with twitter. [ laughter ] right . And they want to address crime, we have to address all the structural issues. Reporter and so again, police are saying theyre just going to try and see if this works and its a new idea. They dont necessarily have specific expectations for it. But they have a unique account they want you to use on instagram and x look for that oaklandautoburg for today through the weekend. Take photos and videos and send it to the account but again please dont try to stop the crime while its happening, gianna back to you. Thank you for that. Related to car breakins state senator scott wiener has introduced a new bill that would actually make prosecuting car breakins easier. Under current law prosecutors have to somehow prove that the car was locked. Proving someone broke a window is enough for a conviction. When you think of expensive bay area real estate, we know San Francisco always is top of your mind. Well, a new ranking from u. S. News and world report puts sf ahead of new york city when it comes to expensive places to live. However, as Andrea Nakano is about to show you, San Francisco, not the only bay area city thats more expensive than the big apple. Reporter bay area residents know housing is not cheap. But vallejo and fairfield . Interesting. Reporter noelle waring and alexei live in vallejo and they were surprised at first to hear their area costs more to live there than new york city but feel it kind of makes sense. Having San Francisco being as expensive as it is, people get pushed out to these other regions. Lafayette, walnut creek, concord and then people are living there get pushed out further. Reporter the ranking by u. S. News and world report took into account the median gross rent and annual housing costs among other factors to figure out which areas need the most wealth to live comfortably. With housing costs going through the roof, most have trouble makingmenteds meet. Its so expensive. Its you know, i work and live in the bay and i have lived here my whole life and even working fulltime im an amazon driver and thats not enough money to pay the bills. Reporter there are femme, always looking for ways to evolve in their careers. Constantly trying to scale up. Thats the only way to really survive out here is to constantly be looking for push, push, push. For ways to increase your skillset. Reporter at this rate, knowwell and alek sigh may end up being priced out of california entirely they say. Were looking at montana maybe. Yeah. Its cheap, its beautiful. Yeah. So montana and i was even thinking oregon before too. Well, in case you are wondering, san diego topped the list followed by los angeles, San Francisco number six and salinas was seventh and santa rosa eighth. Wow. Most expensive places. And really what gets me is sort of the brain drain of talent that leaves our state and we need them. Right . We need them to have the bay area bounceback always talk about and if people arent staying here because its too expensive. We lose talent. Thats hard and just looking at the list think i think its california in general. San diego topping the list there . Probably similar. People are going to start leaving these areas like were having here in San Francisco. A lot of people paying for sunshine and we have sunshine. But its cool these days. It was very lot of people dont know i get into a cold plunge every morning to wake this old guy up. Did you need too today. I could see my breath when i jumped in and i thought maybe this is a little too cold. You were dealing with 40s this morning up in your neck of the woods. I know why. For many of us up north. Its chilly outside right now. Okay, many of us, reed, dont do cold plunges in the morning. Especially early hours that you do. But many of us do head out the door at an early hour on a friday to go to work or go to school and if thats the case heres what were looking at. I just got rid of the floor map. Thats what i meant to do. Temperatures throughout the bay area this morning were sitting in the 40s from san jose with clear skies actually all the way off into livermore. 40s in the forecast there. We warm up just a hair more into San Francisco. Topping off at 50 degrees and as we speak, so still chilly dont get me wrong. Upper 40s just across the bay bridge over into oakland. And visibility is pretty much clear across the bay bridge too. You will see that right behind me. 40s all the way up in the north bay with 30s near petaluma and santa rosa. Yeah, we are dealing with some chilly conditions and clear skies as of now. Were actually going to see high clouds pretty much stay offshore for us as we head into our saturday forecast. A very similar trend all throughout this weekend and mild conditions for the most part when it comes to the skies. However, were going to be sandwiched between two different systems a allowing for very windy conditions. So windy and air so dry the National Weather service is on top of this issuing a fire weather watch starting tomorrow morning at 5 00 a. M. Extending all throughout this weekend until 5 00 p. M. Watch our fire danger index. As we extend into the next couple of days and then ill explain why this is starting to increase . In just a bit. This is saturday in the afternoon hours and look at the north bay and in the high 5, 6, 7, even 8s near napa and sonoma into the saturday overnight hours. With that in mind relative humidity is going to drop a lot getting sandwiched between two different systems. Its going to be dry and its going to be very windy. Look at this. Were seeing direct winds from the north associated with these two systems just inbetween or on the opposite sides of us. With the wind we can see wind gusts anywhere up to around 30, 40, potentially 50 Miles Per Hour up in the north bay. This is sunday and those early, Early Morning hours. 45mileperhour wind gusts and keep in mind, i mean, many of us just have halloween decorations outside and secure all the outdoor objects before we head into this weekend. This is your friendly reminder now on this friday while winds are still calm to start thinking ahead of saturday heading into sunday. So im going to drop this real fast and talk about the daytime highs today. Widespread throughout the bay area. Heading into the afternoon, were not warming up too much more. Mind you were in the 40s right now sew yeah about a 20degree increase where were at right now into the daytime highs. Were expecting 60s today near antioch and concord. Its another cool day for us as that cold front swept its way through the bay area leaving us with chilly temperatures in the afternoon. Redwood city at 63degrees later this afternoon. Gianna . All right, jess, lets talk about the freeways this morning. Getting ready to get out the door and make your way towards the golden gate bridge, i have got good news, you can see it just fine this morning. No fog to slow you down so thats good news. Actually a pretty quiet ride there. Theres some road work this morning just north of here but looks like theyre wrapping things up and not really causing any brake lights or issues. So nice ride here at the golden gate bridge. If you are working your way over into San Francisco. And its friday friends, so were typically seeing some nicer conditions on the freeways. All right, i want to head over down towards that area near Mountain View. Were dealing with a Traffic Alert here, this is a crash that happened overnight. That lane closure is still in effect right now. It is northbound 85 connecting over on to 101. Apparently some of the surface streets in the area as well the exits off the freeway were closed and thats reopened and just the connector road thats still completely shut down. And unfortunately, this was due to a fatal accident. I am learning more information from chp this morning and the investigation is under way. This will take time to open up and clean lanes through there but right now still quite early. Not a lot of volume on the roadways, so you do have the option of just sticking with 101 if you want to avoid some slight brake lights on 85. The dubs back in action tonight in sacramento. As an army of helpers have boots on the ground to find the suspect in the mass shooting that happened there. Bradley blackburn live in lewiston, maine this morning. While people grieve schools are locked down and businesses are also closed down. Reporter this whole community is in grief, reed. But while they are trying to grieve, they cant do so together. Theyre in this lockdown and really the entire town here is frozen in fear with this suspect still on the run. This morning, the sun is up here in maine and authorities are expanding their search across the entire state at this point from massachusetts all the way to the canadian border. At least 80 fbi agents, along with coast guard members, atf agents, and local police are involved in the search for suspected gunman robert card. Hes got a lot of problems up in his head right now. One of them is schizophrenic. Reporter a neighbor says nothing seemed unusual when he saw card two weeks ago. Its crazy. I have a neighbor that did something really horrible. Reporter as investigators search for a motive in the attacks, members of this community are grappling with the sudden and tragic loss of their loved ones. Arthur barnard left his oldest son, 42yearold Arthur Strout at the bar grille just minutes before the shooting began. Strout was among those killed. In the end, he was by himself. You know, no family. Kills you. Reporter lewiston and other nearby towns have been asked to shelter in place again today. Residents say they hope the suspect is caught soon and brought to justice. And this morning, im standing not far from the Bowling Alley where this shooting took place. You will notice behind me, there is no makeshift memorial here. To kind of tribute that we often see after mass smootings. Thats a sign that people inlewiston are following these orders to shelter in place. For their own safety. But reed, we know people are gathering online together, hosting vigils and telling stories about these 18 lives lost honoring them however they can. Reed. You know, part of healing is try to understand why. Why this would happen in the first place. Any discussion or idea about who this guy is relative to his motive . Why he would do such a thing . Reporter no official word yet. Reed, but Law Enforcement sources are telling cbs news that investigators are looking at the possibility the suspect was targeting somebody he knew. A girlfriend or exgirlfriend who he may have been looking for at this bowling a l lee or restaurant. Its not clear whether she was actually there at the time of the shooting though. And reed, the number one thing of course there are questions about the why, but currently, its where he is. Trying to locate this suspect so that this community can exit lockdown and start to gather and try to heal here. Its going to be a long weekend, we understand its a heavily wooded area and lots of places to hide there in lewiston, maine. Check back with you a little bit later this morning. Thank you for your reporting. That manhunt will be nonstopped to. Tonight and through the weekend. The minute hes caught you are going to hear it on kpix and also streaming on the cbs news app and online at kpix. Com. Lets get a live look outside on this friday morning. As we get ready to start our day. Looking over the Santa Clara Valley from our Black Mountain camera. All right jessica,s you know, its not quite halloween just yet. Just around the corner but i dont know about you guys. I have a lot of plans this weekend to go to some parties and get those costumes going already. I know. Im already starting to think ahead. But then im also thinking what am i going to wear because its way too cold to get away with even just a short sleeve. You know what i mean . You are definitely going to want too have the layers ready to go. At least getting to those parties so you can show off your costume. Hopefully indoors if thats where you are celebrating. Heres a look at whats going on right now throughout the bay area. Theres the live lock of the Santa Clara Valley we just showed a second ago. Clear skies for us this morning but chilly temperatures. Oh my gosh yesterday at this time we were in the 0s in the Santa Clara Valley, right now in the 40s. Redwood city and from halfmoon bay also in the 40s there. 50s into San Francisco. And if you think thats mild, look all the way to the north bay. I mean, 40s into novato and 30s north of that all the way up into santa rosa this morning. So heres what were looking at throughout the bay area as we head into the next couple of days. A big shift in the weather pattern and its actually calling for some issues right around the corner as low pressure moves its way in. Thats going to bring in just a mix of clouds but also seeing High Pressure offshore. What ends up happening when were sandwiches inbetween the two systems, we see really strong winds sweeping in from the north. And thats going to happen this weekend. Im actually advancing the clock right now so this is saturday afternoon alone. Look at these wind gusts and its only going to get stronger into this overnight hours on saturday early sunday morning. Anywhere up to around 40, even 50mileperhour winds up in the north bay. That stays consistent in those Early Morning hours on sunday. Really doesnt die down into the late evening hours on sunday. So the reason why im bringing this up, well, couple of reasons. First off, lot of people have halloween decorations outside. Hold on to them tight. The afternoon hours it will be gusty too. To add to that when we have the winds from the north its dry condensed air especially from high to low elevations. So what ends up happening is relative humidity decreases and were seeing strong winds. Our fire danger in fire danger index increases heading into our weekend forecast. This is saturday just into 5 00. Notice how we actually see increases into the overnight hours and 8s and 89s in areas like sonoma and napa in the overnight hours. Thats the big reason the National Weather service issued a fire weather watch in the halloween weekend forecast. More on this in a bit and break it down more for all the highlight zones and counties own the map. All right, thank you. Talk about the roadways right now and i want to show you a map here of that ride out of now of Mountain View this morning. Taking 85 northbound connecting on to 101. Completely shut down and unfortunately due to a crash that happened overnight. Someone did die in the accident. So you have got chp and the investigation under way. So theres still a lot of activity there on scene. In the meantime, try to avoid that connector. Its closed northbound 85 to north 101. North 101 is open and you can still use that as an alternate. Reed . All right, thank you so much. Hundreds of thousands of homes are still without power across the region. Mexicos president says his top priority is restoring the power in the area. Jessica . All right, well, el nino is expected to strengthen in december and local and state agencies are bracing for what could be another big year of more water. Last winter ended up being the sixth wettest year in state history with over 33 inches of rain recorded in snow pack over 200 of normal. I think what was highlighted in this past year was some regions we normally traditionally dont see floods in or at least we have not seen in recent history, saw extreme impacts. Now they are doing more prep ahead of time with 67 million invested in levee repairs creator longer flood walls and filling two million more sandbags and adding extra emphasis to certain regions like the Sacramento Valley and the Central Valley too. Sew i mean back here in the bay, look back at what we dealt with this year. The atmospheric rivers, they were devastating and areas like cap tolia. Your neck of the woods too. The coast, what was it like for you. It was tough. Just getting to work sometimes. There were trees down in the roadway. I mean made it very hard on parts of highway 1. We have been thinking about getting the fences ready to go before the season hits to be prepared for the winds and rain. Makes me so grateful for engineers and infrastructure. So infrastructure is so important. Absolutely is. Its going to be a warm and wet winter ahead of us. Thats what forecasters are all saying across the board. So we will keep a close eye on that. Here in your Weather Center too. Keep my rain jacket handy. Time now 5 42 in the morning. Lawmakers shaking a finger at camp site reservation hoarders. The new moves to stop those who make it harder for the rest of us to reserve a camp site at a park. And love for black cats this morning. Animal shelters say dont judge all right everybody. Come in closer, need to talk about something. When i say black cat, whats the first thing you think . I personally think theyre beautiful. Grew up with one but not Everybody Knows what i know and thats that black cats are super cool. On this National Black cat day, approaching halloween, animal shelters joining me. They want you to know that negative perceptions about black cats denies all of Us Pet Owners from welcoming them into our homes. They want to remind all of us theres nothing super about that superstition. Movies, tv shows, you know, black cats are have been linked to that kind of superstition for a long time. What are they actually like . Super friendly and super sweet. Like any other cat. Shelters in the country are using today, National Black cat day, to find these wonderful pets forever homes. Yes, i loved our black cat that we had. Do you remember the name. I do. It was a naughty name. My mother gave it the name and i was hoping we wouldnt have that question. [ laughter ] ill tell you afterwards. Okay. So ill share with everyone on social. No. Just kidding, keep it a secret. Sorry judy if you are watching. Some people think black cats are good luck. Back in the day. Our black cat could talk. He would literally say mama. He talked. So cool. Very smart. Jess, my black cat couldnt forecast the weather. But we understand you can. Wearing your red dress my pend. Oh, yeah. Its going to be a busy windy weekend and im more of a black dogtype of person. Nice. Hence chopper and all his lovingness. Lets take a quick look outside right now. Bundle up with whatever. A cat, a dog, whoever it may be. Its chilly out there as we wake thumb morning and were sitting in the 40s anywhere from livermore down in the Santa Clara Valley with the clear skies behind me. Heading a lit bit more north we cool down even more heading north. 30s in the forecast right now anywhere from petaluma all the way up into santa rosa a chilly start this morning and 50 degrees in San Francisco. Now the big, big weather change in the forecast for us this weekend . Its the winds you are going notice it especially if you live up in the north bay. The National Weather service calling for a fire weather watch for all the highlighted zones and counties on the map. First things first as we head into this weekend kind of being sandwiched between two different systems. What ends up happening with those two, really increases the winds sweeping in from the north and its going to dry us up a lot too. I showed you this already and im going to show you again. Look at the local community,. Sunday Early Morning hours were going to have wind gusts anywhere up to around 40, 50 Miles Per Hour even and that cities consistent into the Early Morning hours on sunday too. That fire weather watch wont expire until sunday evening so its all weekend event. And to add to the winds, well, relative humidity is going to drop a lot too. What ends up happening is ill it really condenses and dries up a lot. Less than 15 relative humidity saturday into sunday. We see a very similar setup too. But lets take a quick look at the daytime highs today. Throughout the bay area we had a cold front sweep through but it was a dry cold front. And with that in mind, daytime highs today, theyre going to be left in the 60s from San Francisco up into santa rosa. More 60s in the east bays this kind of a repeat of earlier this week all pretty much handinhand. This is the time of year where woe see that. The coastal areas and our inland areas all seeing very similar temperatures. So as we take a look at the next seven days notice how we dont see too much of a change no matter where you live. The upper 60s today. And as we head along the coast, and all throughout the bay, were seeing a very similar setup with the numbers too. 60s slowly start turning into 70s as we head into next week. Dry conditions for halloween. And well hopefully keep it that way heading into the rest of next week too. Gianna . I think its going to be dry for halloween but what are the kids going to wear . Because it might be cool. All right, taking a look at the roadways right now. Get ready to hop on the freeways out of the south bay this morning. No delays or issues on 101. One thing is northbound 85 connecting on to 101. Traffic alert is still in effect and its been there for several hours. Unfortunately, this is an investigation that is now under way. North 85 connecting on to north 101. This crash happened overnight and sadly somebody died in the accident. So theres still a lot of activity in and around that area. So if you can take an alternate probably a good idea. If not you will be diverted off the freeway and stuck in a bit of a backup there. So stick with 101 if possible this morning. And well let you know. In the marine layer time though its pretty quiet though other than that in the south bay. As far as lagos. Just be careful on the roadways and give yourself extra time. All right, taking a look at traffic kind of overview here. Pretty nice pace on 880 and were not seeing a lot of brake lights or issues for that east bay ride. A little slow for supercommuters coming into Altamont Pass but thats to be expected at this time of the morning. But lighter than usual because it is friday. Live look at the golden gate bridge. Not bad at all easy ride into the city. Reed . All right, thanks g. When i say camp site hoarder, do you identify like at the blood boiling level . Reporter the lure of a camp fire and sleeping under the stars draw Robert Rogers and his wife jan to the outdoors. Everything is kind of encompassing around nature. And theres smaller and smaller areas to choose from. And i think we have to take advantage while were still sand. Its sitting around the camp fire and a Starry Nights and fresh air smells. Reporter the retired couple is traversing the state in their rv. But know how difficult it can be to book sites at popular state parks during peak seasons. By the time we look at it, we may look at camp site photos. Its gone. And then you try to find the rest of the catch site and its gone and theres no availability. Reporter covid restrictions led to a surge in demand for camping sites in an extremely competitive market. State parks Officials Say illegal Third Party Vendors acting like ticket scalpers hire online scavengers who gobble up reservations as soon as they become available and making camping a pay to play recurvation. Screen out at least bots and others. Reporter Assembly Member rebecca introduced the bill just signed into law and also increase the forfeiture of reservation fees for anyone who hoards camp site reservations and then cancels the ones they dont need on short notice. Ensuring we have access to all California State Parks means redoing the reservation system and ensuring the sites are getting used. Reporter the office says more than 6. 5 Million People park in california parks each year. The hope is for more folks including robert and jan to have a better chance to book sites.
