You can see the red and purple dots indicating very unhealthy air for redwood city and Mountain View. Unhealthy air for sensitive groups for fremont and union city and also for the tri valley. Moderate for conned and and walnut creek and as well as for right around the bay and oakland to San Francisco looking at moderate air quality. Up to our north, you can see the red dots up the through novato, thats unhealthy air as well as near Napa Junction there this morning. So heres what you can expect. Were starting off the day with the mix of smoke and fog. And that bad air remains trapped so still looking smoky today and our heat wave really kicks in for our weekend. So High Pressure in control kind of trapping that smoke at the surface. And as we look to our weekend, expected for our labor day weekend. Because of that, an excessive heat watch saturday through labor day for the areas highlighted in yellow due to the dangerous heat. Talking checking our temperatures for the south bay looking at 78 in santa clara and 79 for san jose. For the east bay, looking at 84 for concord and Pleasant Hill. And around the bay, mid 60s in San Francisco and low 70s in oakland and for the north bay in the mid to upper 70s. 78 for sonoma and looking at 78 for windsor.
