We finally get to the mother of the force, and it shows there are new burn scars on the exterior and interior, but there does not appear to be significant structural damage. Around the corner is the father of the forest, that has stood here for more than 2000 years. It, too, has new burn scars but they appear to stop a few stories up. It does not look like flames penetrated the thick bark. The mother and father of the forests are relatively unaffected, the other trees suffered significant damage. Ter the tos amag the burn scar is significantly bigger. In this fire has considerably expanded it, probably 2 1 2 times larger than it was. Because i am going to talk for a bit here. My name is mark pendergrast. There are probably about one third of the people know because that is their name also or they are related to me. This is the bookstore i like to come to. It is an independent bookstore with great heart and also close to where the pendergrast enclave has lived for many many years. I grew up here in atlanta. I live in vermont now. But i come back here very frequently to see my mother who is right here. And my father who is very much involved in my research for this book. He read most of the manuscript and who died last year at the age of 99 1 2. I want to dedicate this whole talk to him and he was a wonderful, wonderful kind and generous man.
