As a new school year starthe co continues over returning to in person learning. She admits there is no clear solution but data from around the world shows it can be done safely, potentially for Elementary School students. The doctor suggests in the cases where schools have seen an outbreak, the rules werent followed. Big story in georgia, indiana, schools are reopening and kids are getting it. Lots of kids and communities are passing it around because they didnt not wearing face masks. The Public Health director says priority will be given to schools without outdoor space but for all schools to see a return to inperson learning, he feels funding for smaller class sizes and sanitation supplies will be key to make it happen. The Campus Community had six days to comment on a draft proposal outlining the way sex abuse complaints will be filed and investigated going forward. Reporter now he is learning county leaders are trying to end homelessness with a plan and with the help of destination home. We need to address the factors that are pushing people out on to the streets. The chief operator officer says the project would house 20,000 people in the next five years. And reduce the number of those becoming homeless by 30 each year by expanding prevention services. I think i would describe the plan as necessary. Given the crisis we are facing. The project will be funded with the help of measure a. But he says they will need hundreds of millions more from cities, the county and private companies and maybe even voters again. How difficult do you think it will be to find this money during the pandemic . We have lot of work to do. Housing is a Cost Effective solution. For every dollar we invest we e hund of dollars.
