The 68yearold from kansas was convicted in 03 of the rape and murder of a 16yearold girl prior to that he had also killed an 80yearold woman. Court challenges though lasted until the Early Morning hours today because this guy had dementia. Finally the court ruled they could go ahead with the lethal injection anyway and it happened just like that. Developing this morning, a vallejo City Employee is now on leave after a key piece of evidence was destroyed. The city is now asking the state attorney general and the Solano County da to investigate. According to the vallejo city manager, quote, the city has discovered the windshield has been destroyed and the vehicle has since been placed back into Service Without prior consultation with the police chief or city attorneys office. Its an i appropriate start as a response to this. I mean, if they took first opportunity to destroy evidence that was necessary from our standpoint to be able to do scenery creation, to be able to have a professional expert come and evaluate the veracity of the officers statements.
