Our da lin just tweeted this video showing the bart Board Meeting getting broken up. Shaleem tindle was shot by a bart police officer. The officer chased down the two men. Let me see your hands now. Attorney john burris represents the family. They believe the officer overreacted and opened fire too quickly. The question thats still not clear is what exactly prompted the officer to open fire. The chief says its under vex. Breaking news out of the state capital. Senator tony mendoza has just resigned from office. That resignation comes as his colleagues were considering a vote to possibly expel him. An independent investigation found it is more likely than not that the l. A. County democrat engaged in flirtatious or sexually suggestive behavior with at least six women over the last 10 years. Three people found dead outside of a school near golden gate park. Kpix 5s Jessica Flores live at the scene with the latest on that investigation. Jessica. Reporter were right in front of the urban school. This is a private high school here in San Francisco. The high school is over here. This is where a Security Guard this morning around 4 30 a. M. Found those three bodies, three adult men. When First Responders got there they couldnt revive the victims. It was too late. Now, at this point, investigators are telling me there is no foul play involved. But they are looking into the possibility that these were drug overdoses here. The medical examiner is determining the cause of death. The individuals found in front of the school had no connection to the school. The deaths are alarming to Public Health officials because if there is drugrelated, it could signal some very powerful and deadly drugs on the street. The San Francisco Public Health Department Says they know synthetic fentanyl is in the drug supply and is responsible for a growing number of overdoses. This is the statement from the Public Health department. They say, were concerned about the possibility of fentanyl poisoning. Well be contacting Healthcare Providers and the Drug User Community to ensure they are aware of the dangers of fentanyl and know how to take precautions. Now, there is no immediate threat to the neighborhood, to the children here that go to this school. And they are investigating the exact cause of the deaths. They are concerned about drugs on the street. They havent determined the identities of the individuals. Jessica flores, kpix 5. New details in the deadly crash that came close to hitting a home in contra costa county. A chp spokesman has now confirmed that one person was killed in that crash. 20yearold Alejandro Moreno garcia was a passenger in the car. It was one of the loudest shook the whole house. And i i i thought it was almost a dream until i heard a man screaming. Chp says the people in the truck were seriously hurt. The suspect was arrested on suspicion of dui and may face manslaughter charges. One person is dead, three others seriously injured, after a bagel delivery truck and car collided in palo alto. You can see the fronts of that delivery truck there caved in. The accident happened around 5 a. M. On oregon expressway and shut down two lanes for several hours. The cause of the crash is under investigation. New at noon, a coast guard helicopter made an Emergency Landing in golden gate park. At 7 45 a. M. , picture from chopper 5 show it landed near the softball field at 7th and lincoln. The coast guard tells us mechanical warnings prompted the crew to make a precautionary landing. No injuries. The helicopter was able to take off again after being checked out. Immigration rights advocates are rallying in San Francisco for a lodi mother who has been in i. C. E. Custody for 11 months. The rally comes ahead of a bond hearing for a woman detained by i. C. E. After having breakfast with her family at a local ihop. Advocates say her previous bond hearings have been pushed back five times but today, they say they are hopeful.
