This is southwest of Lake Berryessa. Yesterdays flareup in the Wild Horse Canyon area forced about 200 people to evacuate their homes. Overnight firefighters have been trying to reel it back in. This particular part of the fire very difficult terrain. We were flying hand crews in back and forth in and out of the fire pretty much for the last four days. This is the slowest most labor intensive part of the fire to control and thats where we had the flareup. Reporter heres a look at time lambs video of yesterdays big flare up. More than 1100 firefighters are battling this fire and its still burning within the containment lines this morning. Firefighters are hoping, though, that by the end of the day they will be allow the 200 people evacuated back into their homes. Investigators say she was killed in the hour between when she was last seen on surveillance camera and when her mother reported her first missing. Police say the boy then carried her body down three flights of stairs, threw it in a recycling dumpster and concealed it. When a detective found the remains monday night, the boy was actually standing right nearby. Southbound 880 approaching a street has traffic backed up from 238. San mateo bridge problems on 880 are holding back most of the traffic bound for the san mateo bridge, as well. A retired professor is in custody accuse of abducting her 3yearold daughter in santa clara 25 years ago. The District Attorneys office says Valerie Berry was arrested yesterday in arizona where she had been living under an alias. She allegedly took her daughter in 1990 in vaillation of a Court Order Violation of a court order that awarded partial custody to the father. She was tracked down in phoenix and Officials Say social media and other records helped in the search. Berry had been living in this house. Investigators say she changed her and her daughters names and got new Social Security numbers. She taught architecture at Arizona State university before retiring a few years ago. Its going to be some sad tunes sung in the hallways of twitter and yelp today. Each company watching its stock take a big dive. Yelp in particular. Its down 25 . The company is seeing falling profits user growth stalling. Its also changing its advertising strategy. Its going to get rid of display ads and thats worrying investors in the short term. Also twitter seeing some problems as it continues to struggle to grow its user base. Its chief Financial Officer said during the Earnings Conference Call that twitter is simply too difficult for most people to use and until it is easier for people, its going to be a challenge for the company and twitter shares are down by over 10 . Chevron is cutting some jobs including 500 in san ramon. Another 900 in houston. Company looks to save about 1 billion a year through those cuts. Wall street looking to build off yesterdays strong gains. Lets take a look at the big board and see how were doing so far. And not too bad considering the awful days going on for yelp and twitter. Its free for many users. Facial recognition and some computers replaces the need for a password. Theres also a personal assistant called cortana that can remind you of appointments. A new browser called edge lets users to write notes on websites to send and share, as well. As they start using the system, they will discover some really fresh pieces that just makes it a pleasure to use. Microsoft kind of behind apple, google, a lot of the other Big Tech Companies who have been giving away software for free for a long time now. The upgrade is free for current users of windows 7 and 8 except for corporate customers from now on all upgrades will be automatic and the new system can be used on smartphones. A smoother security line may be coming soon to your local airport. The new head of the tsa says the big change is coming. Peter they havinger plans to retrain thousands of screeners at the airport to better detect weapons and other illegal items. The tsa agents recently failed 67 out of 70 security tests. Now, heading for the bay bridge toll plaza, the metering lights are on and traffic is still backed up into the macarthur maze. A 28minute drive time between the carquinez bridge and the maze. Its going to take you another 20 minutes to make that toll plaza drive. There is an accident clearing westbound 92 approaching industrial. Investigator say the homicide happened in the hours between when she was last seen on surveillance camera riding her scooter and when her mother reported her missing. Police say the boy carried her body down three flights of stairs and threw it in a recycling dumpster and concealed it. When a detective found the remains monday night, the boy was standing right nearby. I would never expect it. He was nice and didnt seem to have problems. I never seen him get mad.
