We now how that conversation will turn and that is a difficult position to put any officers in. They had rescheduled a News Conference today but it was called off without explanation. We really want to use education why its so important. On the telephone today, the chief told me his officers will respond to my business that is having issues with a patron with a mask rule and will act accordingly. And a mandatory Face Covering order and they gave it masks to those not wearing them. The sheriff says she preferring education but they have issued citations to people. The goal is to education. Its a common theory, a common thought with business owners. And in a statement, Solano County explained it needs time to amend the county shelter at home order and inform businesses. Schools reopening on time this fall . That could be in jeopardy from two bay area superintendents. The state is facing a huge deficit. Governor newsom says his priority is to lessen the blow to schools but it could have a loss. They actually need more money to load up on staff and cleaning supplies. Superintendents cosigned a letter about opening in the fall. I have no idea how much i need to sanitize the school every single day. Clearly, we need support from the federal government. That was state superintendent tony thurman. The task force is discussing using outdoor spaces for learning, designating days for Online Learning and Temperature Checking for students and staff. What about college here, ten uc campuses will open to a degree in the fall. But students want go back. Look at this poll from one class. It polled 900 students from seven campuses. Do you plan on staying at your Current School even if classes are offered remotely. 58 said yes. 39 said they are waiting on information. 1. 5 said they are transferring. That a low number, and less than 1 said they are planning to leave the whole system. The numbers can be dicey is scary, if a large chunk of the 39 say they do not return in the fall, it could hurt the duget budget. They have already reported a loss of a bills.
