minute but let's get a look at our temperature trend today. low 50s as you head out of the door. it does feel warmer. late morning into the afternoon the temperatures skrup up quickly. at noon we want to take that outside. it is still breezy today and the the wind advisory continues for the north bay hills up until about 11:00 and we could see why. here is a look at wind speed forecast and the winds rushing through vacaville and also coming through the delta. still a very strong delta breeze coming through today and so we're going to see the wind speeds at 20 to 30 miles per hour but elsewhere in the valleys the wind starts to calm down. let's check out our high temperatures for today. 72 in east san jose. that is going to happen this afternoon. 74 in concord. and we are still going to have some warm weather for much of the peninsula. some low 70s here and also the dry weather continueses. all of that rain will -- still well to the north of us. where where it is raining and snowing. on the texas panhandle, parts of arizona getting snow this morning while we're seeing all well off to the east high pressure in control and we'll keep this dry weather in the forecast. that slight chance of rain i was hoping would happen between saturday night and sunday, well i had to take it out. it does not look likely. so we continue on with hor dry weather and well above normal temperatures into the start of next week. mike, you sorted out that crash near sfo. that is right. had you to take out the chance of rain, sorry. but we also have to take out one crash. the crash at sfo is the only thing registered on the chp report. a smooth drive including where kari showed you the traffic. there is no slowing at the dublin interchange but quite busy at that point in the morning. looking toward sfo it is northbound 101 at millbrae and removing debris from an earlier crash and all of the vehicles are on the shoulder and there was slowing about five minutes ago and it looks like it cleared out and perhaps they're done with clearing the degrees there. toward the bay bridge, the carquinez and benicia and the antioch bridge behind me. and the bay bridge toll plaza the back-up consolidated to the left. we'll leave you with this look at the bay bridge and that build. we'll continue our conversation about "making it in the bay." today we talk about making it over the bay because we're talking about our bay area bridges. we have eight critical routes. there are tollways over the water over here in the bright green. most come west but the tolls on far side, those go north heading out of the bay and that is different. now serving hundreds of millions of drivers every day the bridges are very important. i've worked the data, the mtc and since we started the economic recovery around 2010, we've seen the number of tolls rise. over the last five years the number has averaged 160 million crossings each year collectively across all of the bridges and the annual totals holding steady year-over-year but the early morning commute is where we see the shift from midnight to 9:00 a.m. and we'll talk about the trip out of contra costa county, with 57% more tolls going north before 5:00. that is interesting heading into the north bay out of antioch. we've seen them into rio vista and the dumbarton bridge sees the volume up nearly 77% for the same time period. facebook started on the menlo park side and now a footprint across highway 84 which is the dumbarton bridge. the san mateo bridge. 92% more tolls between hayward and foster city from midnight to 5:00 a.m. folks getting there earlier because congestion has started as much as 6:00 and building earlier as well. and bay bridge doubling the volume before 5:00 a.m., before the metering lights are turned on. there are days where the metering lights are turned on before 5:00 and where 5:30 was the usual checkpoint. since we've looked at that we have more traffic in the fast track and the cash lanes showing buildup but one lane yet to open so that shift is people are getting there earlier trying to beat the person in front of them. >> all in the numbers. >> that is how it works. people
