Theyre looking to screen passengers as they land from one specific airport. The cdc is concerned about people traveling from wuhan, china. Passengers will be screened for fever and cold or flu symptoms. The highly contagious, potentially deadly disease is responsible for two deaths and 45 cases of the virus. Sfo Health Screenings begin today when the first direct flight arrives. When the flight arrives either connecting or nonstop passengers from wuhan would be diverted to a separate area inside the customs facility. Airport Officials Say the cdc screening should only delay wuhan passengers. Symptoms of the virus include of fooer, chills, aches, trouble breathing and a cough. If someone is found to have symptoms they will be referred to a hospital. It was fast and fatal. A deadly after lafrn in lake tahoe. The man who died was an avid and skilled skier. Five years ago is when sean opened his detailing shop in santa rosa and he started noticing david, a man who lived in an apartment directly across the street. I moved in, and im working and i would always see him give me a look like he wanted to say something, but he was a little passive and he didnt want to say too much to somebody. So this is where hes seen me and he would sit on the end of the curb here right by the edge of the gate. So sean decided to make the first move. Right on the curb, right in the middle, you could say, of their two worlds. I was taking a break one day. It was hot, and it was summertime and i grabbed myself and i went and sat down on the curb and i said hi, whats up, im sean. And he looked at me kind of funny and he said im david. Ive been here six years. Sean soon learned david was on his own and struggling a bit. Having spent time on and off in institutions for Mental Health issues. David, sean realized, could use a friend. You never know what a smile could do to somebody. A simple gesture in life could save someones life. Do you want a cup of coffee . Yes, you do. Seans gestures over the years have been more than simple. He makes sure david is well cared for, well clothed and well fed. How many times do you take your medicine . He keeps an eye on with how hes doing and when david might need help. Its not something sean says takes too much of his time or his money. Maria Guadalupe Jimenez held a News Conference with her attorney yesterday to talk about the assault at James Logan High School in union city. It happened earlier this month. She and her husband had gone to the school to report that their daughter was being bullied. Thats when she was attacked by two girls who reportedly didnt stop kicking and punching her even after she lost consciousness. In addition to the responsibility of the minors involved for what they did to maria, we are also concerned about the conduct of the school and their lack of keeping people safe on their campus. So far police have charged one juvenile with battery with serious bodily injury. The school has yet to comment.
