One, this has been several years in the planning in the making and two, taking place behind me will represent the coming online of hundreds of new apartments. The apartments should be located just north of the walnut creek b. A. R. T. Train station in what used to be a parking lot for b. A. R. T. Riders. Here is some rendering from the developer. This will give you a sense of what the development looks like. When complete the walnut creek Transit Village will cover 16 acres, will have almost 600 apartments and 26,000 feet of retail space. People at the old world village in Huntington Beach captured the video of the fireball about 20 minutes before the explosion. Workers closed off the area of a restaurant full of people, after workers thought they smelled an electrical fire. Workers say that that decision of the owner to move those people may have saved lives. The owner is one of five people in the explosion and is still in the hospital.
