Firefighters on the scene still eastgate road this morning, officials tell us that this mornings blaze is a rekindle of a fire that broke out at the same building sunday morning. That fire was started by an unattended pot on a kitchen stove. Five of eight units in that building were uninhabitable as a result of the fire. Fire marshal says that this mornings fire is not suspicious in nature and that rekindles happen occasionally. Tam it will bring in another wintry mix and then as we get a look at whats happening for the Santa Cruz Mountains, weve seen the pinks and the grays here. Pink indicates a mix of some rain and snow, and then the gray indicating some very light snow coming down. We are also seeing that snow coming down as you head just to the west of per toll lavalley and also into much of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Wintry mix this morning will continue and make sure youre prepared for the possibility of slick roads. Other than that we are going to see a lot of the rain passing to the west of the bay area. We are going to see our temperatures only make it into the low 50s today so be prepared for that and we are only going to be up to 53 degrees in concord, 52 in hayward and 51 today in halfmoon bay. And 52 degrees today in the mission district. Not only that but we will have some gusty winds kicking up to about 15 to 20 miles per hour. Freezing temperatures tonight and a frost advisory in effect for the coast and inner bay. All of these areas in purple thats where we do have a freeze warning in effect, that includes san jose, morgan hill and the trivalley up through santa rosa. As youre getting dressed this morning you do need a lot of layers once again. We are not really used to this cold. So make sure you have a hat, something that wont blow away and also a scarf to keep you warm and a nice warm coat and a good day for the boots as well. So were breaking out all the winter gear.
