After lease complications that sent The Concourse packing, owner Jay Harris plans to move the music venue from near downtown Knoxville to a suite at 4328 N. Broadway, formerly home to Whiskey Bend Bar & Dance Club and, more recently, Easy Own Home Furnishings.
While the lease still needs to be signed to make the move official, The Concourse has submitted a beer license application to Knoxville's Beer Board, which will be considered at Tuesday night's meeting.
Harris told Knox News he hopes to finalize the lease this week.
Bigger on Broadway
The sheer size of the building, located in the Northgate Plaza Shopping Center just south of Mineral Springs Avenue, was the first thing Harris noticed.
