Knitting Factory, Desert Daze founder to take over booking at Pappy and Harriet's
New York-based Knitting Factory Entertainment and Desert Daze festival founder Phil Pirrone are taking over booking at popular high desert venue Pappy and Harriet's Pioneertown Palace.
Knitting Factory Entertainment announced Wednesday on Instagram that it is now the "exclusive buyer for" the Pioneertown establishment. Pirrone and James Irvine will serve as talent buyers, according to the company.
Morgan Margolis, CEO and president of The Knitting Factory, told The Desert Sun in an email that the company is "a partner" in reference to Pappy and Harriet's.
San Bernardino County property records show the venue, located at 53-688 Pioneertown Road, still belongs to Sail On Sailor II, LLC, which is registered to longtime owners Robyn Celia and Linda Krantz.
