Klawer murder-accused Daniel Smit's defence asks for Valkenberg referral

A psychologist said Daniel Smit’s belief in the occult likely played a role in the alleged murder of Jerobejin van Wyk but recommended that he go to a psychiatric hospital to be assessed for “the scientific reasons for his horrific act.”
