KidCOVE Vaccine Trial Has Made It's Way To The Crossroads

Moderna has come out with a trial vaccination for children. This trial is in phase 2/3, which is dedicated to researching the new vaccine's safety and side effects. The trial vaccination is currently being offered at a Port Lavaca Clinic.

According to the Moderna website, the protocol is similar to that of the adults who received a COVID-19 vaccine.
Eligibility:
For children to be eligible, they must be between the ages of 6months and 11 years; they also must be in good health.
Children will not be eligible if they have ever or are currently receiving an investigational vaccine or approved treatment for COVID-19 or have participated in another trial within the past month. Children will also not be eligible to participate in the Moderna kidCOVE trial if they have tested positive for COVID-19 or been around anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within two weeks before the first administration of the trial vaccine.
